It isn't. It's a grey hellhole

London is the same mate.

Im packing to Normandy, see you in Caen.

it's not

...

>It isn't. It's a grey hellhole
That guy is from Swedecuckstan. Everything is more comfy than Sweden. Being shot in the leg is more comfy than living in Sweden with Swedecucks.

...

...

Old flats generally aren't comfy, extremely noisy, bad insulation and may have a lot of mold because of poor ventilation.

...

London is a different sort of hellhole. Sterile and full of mudskins.

life in eastern europe told in easy-to-understand meme

>Old flats generally aren't comfy, extremely noisy, bad insulation and may have a lot of mold because of poor ventilation.
Apartment buildings are the only one that aren't haunted.
Like what kind of stupid fuckign ghost/spectre/bogie would hunt an apartment in an apartment building if behind a thin wall there are entire families living normal everyday life?
It's a big upside you have to admit.

Why do find Soviet-Era poverty ridden architecture to be comfy?

it's because you haven't lived in one

PROTIP: commieblock apartments always smell of cabbage

this

the beginning of Orwell's 1984 depictures an old tenement house in which lingers a smell of rug mats and cabbage and that is so relevant to average slav building

commieblocks are the comfiest thing in the world especually in winter

this is the apocalypse I want to live in

have fun being infertile for the rest of your life

>it's because you haven't lived in one
We got commie blocks here in Germany too. They are a rat nest and a cemetery cancer. All of the drop outs and the scum of the society is living in the commie blocks because they can't a afford a proper apartments. If I had the chance I would demolish them all and replace them with apartments no bigger than 4 floors

Why is everything fucking ugly in eastern europe?

I don't mind, I've played all the fallouts and read survival guides, I'm ready for the apocalypse

Go fuck yourself, you know nothing
t. east Berliner

that blanket looks like a heap of flesh in the thumbnail

because Eastern Europe used to be almost completely empty before the commies came along and built commieblocks by the cheapest methods known to man. Eastern Europe was historically just a big field that supplied Western Europe with basic foodstuffs.

Good to know, thanks user.

desu this is what I imagine Hell is like... All grey and blocky, no soul to be found anywhere. I genuinely feel sorry for all those who had to live there.

I've been in Berlin several times and honestly this city is undeniably repulsive and disgusting. You should change the capital city of your country asap or demolish current shithole with bulldozers and set a new prosperig city which would be appropriate.

>and replace them with apartments no bigger than 4 floors

yeah that's what's going on here since the 1970's, construction companies have to obey to so many restrictions that even living inside our "commieblocks" got expensive.

>il est tombé pour le meme de la Normandie

>has experienced ghosts
Explain yourself Janek.

m8, this sort of living is a reality in most of Paris. The outer banlieus look worse than Moscow.

...

Jesus, that took a dark turn.

from what I've seen, the german gommieblocks have a much higher quality than the eastern euro ones. they also seem to be more well maintained.

>the shanty towns 90% of all europeans lived in before WWII were better because they had "soul", fuck having access to electricity and running water amirite

>hervanta.jpg

looks like the moldy concrete is about to drop off that balcony

>looks like the moldy concrete is about to drop off that balcony
>says romania
your whole country is moldy concrete about to drop off the balcony

since is concrete is mainly made from lime, it dissolves fairly quickly in water/humid weather. it's not optimal for the northern and eastern european climate. it's much more optimal for the mediterranean area, which is incidentally also where it was originally invented (by the romans, iirc).

WELCOME TO CITY 17

Seems that when you live in comfort, squalor is some sort of luxury.

>Go fuck yourself
Go fuck your donkey you call "mama" and hang with brownish cheese sister in the trees.

is class contempt like yours common in germany?

> 1st world problems

Those images you posted look like soviet russia

We have those same type of blocks but none of them look so run down

fick dich alda

Superior design

these two are berlin iirc. they look much better than the ones in russia, possibly because it's not in a tundra.

of course, finnish (and nordic overall) modernism is superior. I'm a pretty big fan of alvar aalto, and especially his plan for rovaniemi. rovaniemi is a perfect example of god-tier modernist city planning.

>these two are berlin iirc
>rich germany

That raises even more question about why they look so rundown

>Alvar Aalto
Those designs are awesome and have that 60's neat feel to them, there's this old factory made of red brick in Oulu but afaik they're going to demolish it, a shame

Maybe it's because of my mum but I like Finnish design a lot too, all my drinking glasses are inherited from her

If you like AA you'll like Tapio Wirkkala, he has designed a lot of things too

From our point of view, Eastern Europe has the impression of poverty.
It does not connect with comfort.

Because it gives you a sense of wonderment. Its easy to be fascinated by that level of degradation because you don't live in it.

Looks stuffy and dirty, notcomfy/10

this
t. romanian

It looks like shit because they don't maintain them. the same reason Italian cities look like garbage dumps, they just do not care

I live in it and it's pretty comfy if you forget about poverty

>the same reason Italian cities look like garbage dumps

>look like
*are

yes
lithuania has good potato dumplings and is quiet
very comfy

great post, a coin has been transferred to your mug.

>are berlin iirc. they look much better than the ones in russia
Are you sure it's Berlin? Because they look exactly like Russian.

Honestly think I'd fare well in Russia
I don't know something about it says "Home" to me

It's actually Moscow.

They don't look like Berlin to me, pic related is Berlin. It's similar to the 2nd pic not not quite the same

It's not only maintenance, but awful planning when you have huge empty space between buildings with no infrastructure; no design code or standards for buildings when people install any window frames they want, put ACs and satellite dishes so buildings look even worse.

I'm sure it's Moscow.
>Moscow City skyscrapers in the distance
>ACs everywhere
>parked Ladas with Russian licence plates

Moscow has the best commieblocks imo

Behold

commieblocks are depressing

t.knower

i lived in a commie block in georgia for about a month. it was pretty comfy aside from no lighting on the stairs so you had to be careful walking up and down at night.

>hang with brownish cheese sister

Wut? Visiting family or something?
