Why would you want that? Haven't you grown up with the rest of us?

I think there's a new Madness Combat game being worked on, don't know about Brackenwood.

Grow out of what?
You know you are on this board too.

Thought the guy was working on Madness 11 or something

There is. Guy makes monthly updates on his dev tumblr

He has worked on the game the past 2 year.
I think he has said that he already has a script and would work on it when the game is done.
He also mention something about a Patreon so he can work on the animation at the same time.

Nope, Newgrounds and the golden age of Flash is dead.

The Brackenwood creator is actually making animations again.

Dunno about anyone else, but I'm excited.

>that sloppy sputtering spittle dance at 1:06
I lost it. It's somehow disgusting, adorable, and hilarious all at once.

Oddly enough, after not thinking about it for like two years I just checked out their page a week or so ago myself, and was a little surprised to see this. Subscribed the YouTube channel. If anything much comes of it it'll be a surprise, but a pleasant one.

will we ever see new web series from any animators

NO

they are all DEAD

thanks to JEWTUBE

No. It's easier and more profitable to sit in front of the camera screaming and making funny faces.

Well we do have No Evil.

I love No Evil. I like the mix of different folklores. That and the occasional music video that still fits with the story.

There is suppose to be a story. I can't understand shit.

None of these people made money on Newgrounds either, they just did it for fun. I realize they all have gotten older and now need to pay bills, but why has there been no waves of 16 - 20 year olds making short little animations? Why has there never been a spiritual successor to something like the Awesome Series or Blockhead? Why was there never anyone else like Legendary Frog?

When did doing dumb little animations and putting them up online meant you had to "make a living" off of them? No one in the golden age of Flash thought of that, they just kind of did it in their spare time. It was their hobby.

animation isn't popular. unless it's great, nobody will watch it, or worse, actively try to destroy it before it starts. newgrounds is dead and yotuube is under the control of the commentaryguy27, popeundertaleman, and fatbeanievlogman. it doesn't help that the fans of these people will go around trying to dismantle creative content.

kids aren't trying to animate as much, they're doing what it currently popular on these media platforms. instagram comedy videos, memes, & let's plays/commentary.

Around early 2010's when Egoraptor decided that he was going to make gaming videos and almost every other animator followed suit. Then people started making animations using clips from gaming videos and it kind of became a big trend.

Also, its kind of a way of putting your portfolio out there so that people can hire you into the animation industry. It worked for SIR.

>Legendary Frog
oh my lord that fuckin rush of nostalgia...

Times have changed. There is now a platfrom to literally make money by sitting at home playing videogames. And all these system evaders try their damndest to suck in internet surfers from all over cyberspace. Because of that there is EVEN LESS popularity with platfroms like newgrounsd and other flash portals than it had before. Those kids and 20 somethings who made flash cartoons now either try to break into the "HEYGUAIS BLAGGEDY BLAH HERE WITH..." market, do their hobby as much as they can (just like they used to) along with their daytime jobs, or what seems to be the case with the most of em: just disappear.

Tarboy 2

never to happen

man why'd you have to remind me of that.

>Runkachunk ended up being more successful than all those Newgrounds artists you liked.

I tried but after realising everyone used flash I tried to pirate it because I don't have the money for that shit.
It didn't work out and thus I never made animations

no because casual flash is dead and nobody does shit for free anymore

her and kirbopher keep weaseling their way into roles in things.
>tfw I used to look up to kirb's art 10 years ago
>tfw the furry porn I animate is better than any of his shit.

>Homestar Runner will only update once in a rare while

Brackendwood has a game and a movie in the works for the last few years now.

>the furry porn I animate is better than any of his shit.
I dunno, that's a pretty bold claim. I'm going to need proof.

Game was cancelled.
>furry porn I animate
Do tell.

Well I should elaborate, I'm not making movies if you want to knock off some points.

Here's something I'm currently working on. Be gentle, it's been 8 months since I've last did any animating.
I would like to set up a site soon and start doing comics and other projects.

Once-twice a year is better than 0 over the last few years for a lot of animators

The Grunt, Blunt and Clunks plan worked. No more Tarboy

I REALLY wanted to see Brackenwood continued...
