It´s a let´s play Dungeon & Dragons episode

>It´s a let´s play Dungeon & Dragons episode

MONSTERS & MAZES

Ogres & Oubliettes

That D&D comic by Jab was really good.

Angels and Armors

>spend most of the episode shitting on the nerds
>two seconds of dice rolling at the end

Wallace Shawn?

>all of them are either rogue , knight, archer, paladin bard or priest.

Sorcerer class all the way

Using color splash like a seizure beam

sword and sorcery

>It's a the creators don't know what RPGs are episode

>My role playing character is respected

>Just like in real life?

skeletons and skellies

>No season 7 confirmed

Sorry about that, sometimes they get out of their cage

>images.duckduckgo.com.jpg

>letting google track your browsing

Hydras & Houses

>it's a 2 guys hanging aroung with the gay friend episode

>it's a stealth horsefucker thread
>AGAIN

How this is Dungeons & Dragons

I don't see any ponies in this thread

there's a baby unicorn in the cartoon and I guess that triggered him

BEWARE THE SACRILEGE

The weird thing is I was just considering drawing him fucking one of the girls on that show.

Yes, we know My Little Pony just had that episode

You didn't need to make a Barney bait thread

>in high school
>have 4 pretty good friends
>we're all into nerd shit because we were massive nerds: anime, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, you fucking name in we were in on it
>except DnD
>I suggest it we start playing DnD one day
>they all fucking laugh at me because only big sweaty basement nerds play it
>it's never brought up again
>we all graduate and I separate from the group
>years later I find out they hold weekly DnD sessions
>I still haven't played DnD out of sheer mad from those friends

Fuck you, Richard, you fucking cunt.

The D&D episode is almost always the best episode in a series. If You don't like them, you're a huge cunt.

t. /tg/

>only big sweaty basement nerds play it
But dnd and table top are the broest of all nerds.
Its the league of legends and smash bros nerds that are the worst

>Caring for that.
What are you afraid of?

That's what they thought. I thought DnD was hella rad which is why I suggested it.

>It´s a let´s play Dungeon & Dragons episode
>nobody takes improved initiative
>rogues don't flank
>paladin doesn't use any of his daily smites
>they wonder why they tpk

Sucks for you. My group of friends decided to go all out when we played D&D.
>played at night in a group
>got funyuns and mt. dew
>had Led Zeppelin playing on a boombox
>then we played smash on yelled at each other

Silly me, didn't even realize in that episode where the pink character turned out to be a bard, until someone pointed it out.

I thought it was already, but not 8?

>has to be 3rd edition
Newfags, I swear...

...

...

Nice try, but I only sperg out when pictures of Barney are posted. This is too general a topic to trigger my autism thankfully.

>born 1977
>older brother, as a kid, was into 1st ed. D&D
>being 6/7 years old, just a bit too young to play
>looked at all the pictures in Monster Manual, DMG, Player's Handbook, first print of Dieties and Demigods with the HP Lovecraft section
>fell in love with the art, as amateurish as it was
>loved the Saturday morning cartoon
>had a bunch of the toys (people still talk about the cartoon, but nobody ever brings up the toys, pic related)
>it all goes away for awhile
>be 11, or 12
>find Dragon Magazine at my local library
>2nd edition comes out
>fall in love all over again
>get all the books, everything I can
>lonely kid, in the boondocks, nobody to play with
>then one day, I get a phone call
>my best friend of my entire life, he moved away the previous year, but is back in town for one weekend
>he happens to have fallen in love with 2nd ed too
>one magical sleepover weekend, we have one massive D&D gaming session
>as an adult, get 3rd, 3.5, and pathfinder material
>still has a special place in my heart

After all this time, I only playe D&D once. That one session. I never expect to play again, for as long as I live. Part of me is OK with that.

>there's never a let's play 40k or any other army based table top game epsiode

>Part of me is OK with that.
Bruv, why did you hit me with those feels

Damn dude, THIS is what D&D is for.

>critting an undead

It is from Darkest Dungeon, where you can crit an undead.

Reeeeeee and somesuch

It was maybe because ogres and obilutes is mlp but then i think he would have quoted that post.
I think the ccomic has a d&d issue coming out in a couple of months to.

More likely anons just a baiting faggot

Wait nevermind im retarded they just had there d&d episode

So i still dont know why anons complaining we have this thread every fucking week
>its a shit on the fans episode
>its a race episode

This is nothing new

There's also a licensed RPG getting made.

But wasn't that every episode?

In which case i better check out the episode i have been falling behind in all my cartoons lately (not very bothered by falling behind in star vs though im starting to lose my intrest)

By a vetren of the industry to

Really? I didn't recognize the publisher's name, but then again, I only know a few of the big d20 names.

>It´s a let´s play Dungeon & Dragons episode
>Nobody get's bloodied
>Nobody marks an enemy
>No skill challenges
>fighter doesn't slide his foe two squares with shield bash
>wizard doesn't refer to his spells as daily's
>Because they're not using a shitty dead edition suitable only for use as an MMO clone, that's why

It's Alessio Cavatore. Check his name.

>Warhammer
>LotR
Promising. Hopefully he keeps the medieval fantasy flavor better than the show has done lately

Tell me more.

>kissy-face handsome elf

Rude

Oh god i just realised something.
4e was bad but people recognised it was bad and nobody used its features in fiction.

However people have somehow convinced themselves the shitpile of 5e is good we are going to start having people talking about advantage and bonds and shit.

...

How do I get into D&D? I've wanted to play it for years and there's a game shop near me that runs sessions, but I don't particularly want to just walk in and go "Hello there, I know you're an established group of friends, but you should stop having fun now and baby me for a while instead. Now what's a die?"

At least 5 is just AD&D/3.5 lite and way better than 4e if you skip the dumb character special fluff nonsense. I know when I play with friends we didn't bother because it's pointless if have half a brain

Just go find a pdf of the Player's handbook of whatever edition (Don't bother with 4th Edition, it's total shit) and read that shit, then go. Alternatively, if you don't want spaghetti everywhere as a first timer in front of a group, just a get a group of friends together and blindly stumble through everything
Playing with people who have no idea about the in-game universe usually make things fun because they cause dumb things to happen that make great stories later

>3.5 lite
I really do wonder how people felate pathfinder when its a step down from 3.5 in every way.
It made the skill system 3.5s biggest flaw even fucking worse.

Wait i misread your post disregard my faggotry

Hell its 3es biggest flaw
3e/3.5 are otherwise so fucking great but that skill system just fucking shafts martials and its to heavily baked in and balenced around to everything to houserule a fix

>girls are allowed in the game
