This thread is for the discussion of the language, culture, travel, dairy life, etc. of Japan. Let's tark at randam in Japanese and English. Take it easy!
She's no native speaker. Probably born overseas and learned enough to start her own Learning Japanese channel for lonely males who don't know any better.
Alexander Watson
She looks native Japanese. She seems to speak Japanese slowly and childish on purpose .

sounds like she isn't a native speaker.

She could likely be Nikkei, i.e. 2nd generation Japanese.

Doesn't she have Japanese accent in her English? I saw another one of her videos, and she mispronounced the word "video" exactly the way we often do.

Sydney pays more but adjusted for the cost of living it's similar. I just want to choose the nicer city because I'll likely be there for at least 2-3 years.

'A "Coalburner" is a white girl who is spoiled rotten and rebels against her wealthy or middle class parents for some imagined affront sometime in their short lives.'
それで"for some imagined affront sometime in their short lives"って文に着目してほしい。
みんなはこのtheir=her=coalburner(s)説がやっぱり妥当だと思う?
Nicholas Hughes
how about career-wise? Out of which job do you think you get more?

very similar. that's why I am looking at the cities to compare which place would be more comfortable to live in. I think my decision will 99% depend on the quality of the city at this point.
