>Go to Cuba
>Everyone is super nice, friendly and extremely helpful and there is a great sense of local community
>Go to Vietnam
>Everyone is super nice, friendly and extremely helpful and there is a great sense of local community
>Read about people going to Communist Eastern Europe/USSR and hear about how people were insanely nice, incredibly helpful, how safe it was and the great sense of local community.
>Go to China
>Everyone is rude as fuck, people just insult you for no reason when you walk past them, everyone worships money (literally), people are pissing and shitting and spitting in the streets, there are gangs of begger theives like it's a fucking elder scrolls game roaming to mug/pickpocket/scam you, there is zero compassion or empathy for their fellow humans, animals are tortured and cooked alive in restaurants.
How in fuck did a COMMUNIST country become this way? I've been to Cuba, Vietnam, read a lot about the USSR and people travelling through it and the common thread through all of them is how safe and nice the people are especially for developing nations, then you go to China and they're basically immoral sociopaths who seem to stand for literally the opposite of every Communist value there is. What gives?
