Gaddafi was the best thing to happen to north africa. Look at the shithole Libya is now. Factionalised, filled with terrorist groups and rebels, an interim government that can't govern over jack shit. The people are poor, unsafe, and lack the infrastructure for most basic health and education... starting the war and killing gadaffi literally plunged the country 100 years back in terms of development and it'll be decades before they claw their way back out.
