Weebs will actually defend this
Woah it's almost as if different cultures are different
Fuck off Tekashi
>Culture
It is called SKILL, dumbass
How can the West compete?
So why no paintings 1000 years earlier? No skill?
>earliest Finnish painter on Wikipedia was born in 1647
>doesn't even have a Finnish surname
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Do you people actually not realize that art-style differs with different cultures?
What is considered good in the west may easily be considered shit in the east, and vice-versa.
this is something i wouldve liked on 9gag when i was like 12 thinking im smart
Classic
this so much
asians are more intelligent in other areas, same as every race, nothing wrong with that
>even Japan makes fun of Japanese people
Russia and Finland's elite was Germanic for the past few hundred years. Although the elite in Russia was politically corrected and had a free delivery of one 7.62x54mm implant to the brain under (((c*mmunism))) and were replaced.
Nips have artistic ability

Are you making this thread every day?
You do realize most Finns with Swedish last names adopted them for the Swedish church records, since Finns went by patronym before that? No, I guess you think theyre actually Swedes.
They spoke Swedish, but they were not Swedes. Atleast not in Finland. Even the fennoswedes arent genetically Swedish.
They weren't technically so good in the East, because they were more conservative and practised same styles of art for hundreds of years whereas in Europe artists were more curious in finding new techniques. Similarly to East Rome/Byzantine where their art didn't evolve because it was so strictly regulated. In China they practiced 1000 years to paint a bamboo branch in the most sophisticated manner possible only with one brush and very limited colour. Many people spent their entire lives painting bamboos. The pic OP posted wasn't appreciated at the time when it was drawn in Japan, and is an example of the drawing style the Japanese used in ads, posters, cheap books etc.
...
>look sensai I drew a water!!1!
you should compare them with the medieval european tapestry
dude that's 1000 years earlier, in impressed thay had paint in the dark ages
medieval europeans were subhumans with small brains
after the renaissance europeans became ubermenschen powered by superior genetics and huge brains so they made great art and science
Keep believing that, Hanz.
but romen culture were more sophisticated than anytime of later Europe.
Europe did nothing but ruing and distorting the glorius heritages.
This is why G*rmans should be killed
Medieval Europe wasn't inferior to Roman Europe. That's simply incorrect.
The extent of Rome's greatness is greatly exaggerated and defined more by hearsay than actual historical records, hence why so much of Europe tried to recreate it whilst essentially using only the names (see Holy Roman Empire, kaiser, czar, etc.).
Romans were weak on science. Greeks were thousands of times more productive in that field.
The Medieval European, despite constantly threat from Sarracens and the Dark Plague, revived Greek philosophy from the shadow, created the Trivium and the Quadrivium, built the most beautiful and wonderful constructions ever created in the history of the world (the Gothic Cathedrals) and also created the Scholasticism, everything so that some six hundred years later some idiot comes to say that they were dumb and ignorant.

oh really!?
European had better say thank you to middle easterners.
We can thank the Eastern Romans from keeping it, the Syriac (Middle-Eastern Christians) for their translations to Arab, the Arabs for not destroying it but especially to the Medieval Scholastics, for really studying the subject in the Latin Catholic Universitie like no other civilizaiton has done.
