>ebin
a bit of fry and laurie was good

>American"""""humor"""""""

"Mr. Bean" is God tier and "The IT Crowd" is good enough that i forgive it for having a laugh track.

he's doing a silly walk :)

>brittish humor is much better than american !!
>American humor shows are know worldwide
>and only British people watch their British shows

You obviously are American, otherwise you'd know no American TV was more beloved worldwide as Benny Hill was.

*American TV comedian

*humour

physical humour will always be funny

>popularity = quality

It worked better in Fawlty Towers when he was upsetting the Germans by not mentioning the war.

American (((humor)))
>My pussy smells because of menstruation. Bazinga!
>Yeah, blaze it, sister!

>black woman chimes in with a YOU GO GURL at the end

Monty Python isn't funny
Mr. Bean isn't funny
Sitcoms aimed at middle class families aren't funny
Benny Hill is overrated

Good British comedy acts:
- Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse
- Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett
- Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie
- David Mitchell and Robert Webb
- Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders

Good British sitcoms:
- Only Fools and Horses
- One Foot in the Grave
- Peep Show
- Fawlty Towers
- On the Buses

Also:

- Father Ted
- The Vicar of Dibley
- Open All Hours

Monty Python was ground breaking at the time.

Kinopost, my basketball user.

if only you laugh at your own jokes maybe is because the jokes are not so good at all

I can't remember a comedy series that I enjoyed as much as The Thick Of It, any recs?

>hollywood garbage is known worldwide therefore japanese kinema is inferior

Most of your favorite actors are, in fact, Canadians, not Americans.

YOU'VE BEEN LEAFED!

why do real nerds always love life of brian?

This is British humor. I don't get it tho.

Harry Enfield is a great act, everyone on Sup Forums needs to watch his stuff

>2.54
Literally me

>Anglo-Saxon """"""""comedy"""""""" show
>Canned Laughter

You don't get it? She spent 6 months getting celebs to donate jam for her to sell in the hopes of raising 1,500 pounds. That's less than $2,000 dollars. You'd make more money than that working a part-time job for 6 months and that's without the celebs. The host was right, she's a moron only doing it to be on the telly.

The show was called Not The Nine O'clock News

You can tell by the name alone that it's not funny, and they were just clutching at anything they thought was remotely humourous.

One of my favourite sketches by Harry Enfield

youtu.be/_nvfQw8UCDE

This is funny to British people?

>WE ARE THE KNIGHTS THAT SAY NI
Explain this joke?

Muslims hate dogs so yes it would be funny to the Brits now.

They're basically just making light of news coverage of IRA terrorism. It would've been slightly funny at the time, but has basically no rewatch value.

Good comedy is the comedy which doesn't get stale with time; not epoch-dependant.

The British make some good cringe comedy.

>open video
>see what it is
>immediately close video
yeah i'm not rewatching that

>on the buses
that was shite. replace it with the thick of it or

everybody in the world eats at mcdonalds but it's still shit

Every time I see this gif I think it's Jeremy Clarkson

everytime you think it's jeremy clarkson you are incorrect

On the Buses is very average and I wouldn't put it up there as one of the best British sitcoms, there's about 30 more ahead of it.

If you're gonna take the piss at least spell "humor" right you fucking clapping burger eating immigrant cunt.

I agree with the Monty Python shit not being funny, but Mr.Bean is the funniest shit I have watched come out of Britbongland.

Every time I watched some Monty Python skits or the movies, all they got out of me was at most was a few chuckles, but most of the time, I was bored with all that preparation waiting for the punchline. Mr.Bean didn't even need any words or time to be instantly funnier and more entertaining.
Wallace and Gromit is also good.

As far as I'm concerned, British humor is varied and its quality highly depends on what you're watching.

>As far as I'm concerned, British humor is varied and its quality highly depends on what you're watching.

The most retarded thing ever typed.

Monty python is funny, it's just that nerds and redditors have ruined it by quoting to signal to each other how refined their tastes aee. See also: pixar films

>one foot in the grave
>peep show
>on the buses
these are shit

Mr Bean's actually very popular in china and india for some reason

Mr. Bean may as well have came out of Iran it barely has anything to do with British humour

No love for Royle Family? The early episode of it before they sold out were absolute GOATs

ITS BOUQUET

it's been succesful in a stupid number of countries, since he doesn't really talk there's no language barrier that would hold back a lot of shows.

Aahahaha, BTFO!
>daughter gets raped by Muslims
You showed that wanker!
>London CCTV keeps him safe by monitoring him on thr toilet in his home
I dare say he's a poofter!
>*inbreeds*

It's funny, but the people who quote it all the time are redditor glee club types with long greasy unwashed hair and not a single shred of discernable talent for organic comedy

Aahahaha, BTFO!
>daughter gets raped by a pack of wild niggers
You showed that redcoat!
>gets mutilated by Abraham
Git r done boe!
>*inbreeds*

>White """humor"""

One Foot in the Grave is great.

Great rebbutal of my points :^)
Now go get your internet license from the council before I call the bobbies and get your ass knicked, sunshine

Yes because the thought of one radical group blowing up civilians is so far fetched that this skit has no relevance today whatsoever.
