>Oh yeah, that happened... and it was awesome.
Oh yeah, that happened... and it was awesome
I hate the MCU yet surprisingly really enjoyed this
>all these people who hate the MCU begrudgingly try GotG2 and end up loving it
What a magical film. I have no idea what is causing people to give it a chance despite hating Marvel but what's important is that you enjoy it.
>GotG 1 was good
>go see part 2
>its embarrassingly bad
What happened ?
>"MEME OFF BRO"
>good
kys
Both of you SUCK.
Hard to see how you could dislike the film. It's got good adventures in space, the soundtrack is woven into the story, good dudes having fun, multiple character archs. Has some flaws like tazerface and Drax needed to tone it down by like 20% but otherwise solid.
This is Sup Forums where it's cool to hate anything popular regardless of how good it is.
t. sycophant brainlet
You probably are still hating on WW because how everyone's loving it
>No RDJ in GotG 2 is somehow a bad thing
He's a cancer on the MCU, his two sequels are critical bombs for a reason even if they made the money, the 1st Iron Man is literally the only good movie of the 3, and anytime he's in another Marvel movie my interest literally fucking tanks
thats the same person posting twice
Nigga Drax was perfect.
10% less drax would be perfect
Sums up how I feel about these movies pretty well. They're the best Marvel thing currently out there mostly it's so far removed from all of that traditional capeshit. Only thing that dirties the otherwise great package is a few quips or jokes that were highly unnecessary or just stupid.
>I hate the MCU
You must be fun at parties.
stop this meme
you know aswell as I do that liking a capeshit franchise doesn't make you anymore sexually or socially successful.
it just makes you a virgin retard who enjoys children's media alone.
Yes! Fucking women being powerful and stuff. Ugh, I hate them.
GotG is cool because nobody is particularly superpowered. They're just space dudes with space guns. It's like Star Wars for the new generation, but somehow much better than Disney's new Star Wars. A good substitute considering how committed Disney is to shitting the bed.
I think I started liking the GotG films even more after watching some behind the scenes stuff, the actors all seem like nice people, really cool and like they're actually enjoying the production and eachothers company.
It's incredibly bad, half of it is horrible exposition putting even the last airbender to shame
the rest is mindless cgi blur with every terrible scene ending on a silly quip joke to try and make you forget the scene was awful and pointless
Confirmed for not having watched it.
>GotG 1 was good
keke
...
it was ok
It was kino.
>says positive thing about movie
>ADURR HURR WITTY REACTION WEBM?
And you accuse Marvel of "quipping." It's Sup Forums who can't shut their own quipshit mouths.
seriously? watch it again and note the number of times people start talking about their "HEART BREAKING BACK STORY" about where they are why they're there and where they're going next
>GotG 1 was good
>GotG 2 was good
wow
Do you know how to speak in anything but memes?
Yeah I can appreciate it more knowing that they actually enjoyed making it.
Are you Redditors or actual shills?
I can't think of a single Disney Marvel film that is above average, and this one would be on the lower end of the scale. The way they can't tell a joke without hammering it down or explaining it to the audience, and the amount of time dedicated to making stupid quips ruins it for me. Even when you look past the quips it's still a generic formulaic Summer flick.
I honestly want to know what you "loved" about this movie. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding how much you actually like the movie because it was watchable, but I wouldn't put it over 6/10 since it was so shallow.
Cry more faget.
Are you a grill?
Show tits.
It wasn't as fun as the first one. First one felt like a good old 90ties adventure movie, the second one was forced, scenes were too long, jokes weren't funny.
>samefag posts two absolute pleb posts in a row and thinks anyone cares about him
>GotG 1 was good
Wasted trips
>cares enough to respond
keep crying
"Keep crying" AKA "I got BTFO so hard I don't have any good comebacks but I am desperate to have the last word"
So is meme off still a demigod?
GotG2 is the definition of filler.
me and my friends couldn't breathe during the warp segment
It was fucking funny. Anyone who says otherwise is a contrarian jackass.
>accusing someone of having to have the last word
>anonymous Mongolian basket weaving board
Oh wait, you really are retarded. Sorry, user.
It's a nice touch that Yondu said the warping influences mammalian beings and Baby Groot really isn't affected.
Are you both literally 14?
Are you literally 4?
constant exposition is a meme
or just daring to criticize a marvel movie?
get a load of this guy. he doesn't have friends!
Killing a godlike being so easily doesn't seem possible at all.
Thanks for clarifying
Here's your (You). If you reply to me again you admit defeat.
Thanks for fucking off from the thread.
How are there good adventures in space if they barely go through space and spend most of the movie on one planet, and just one house and surrounding area that is devoid of all life and points of interest? I mean, I guess at least Rocket is elsewhere right? But not really, he's just in a forest and then on a generic space ship set. First one had the actual space adventures you know-nothing plebs.
Pacman was a bad guy
Gladly, enjoy your shit taste
You have to be 18 to post here, sonny.
The last word is yours, take it if you want it. It's way past your bedtime anyway.
>adventures in space
the only real adventure was the first battle but we had to endure some forced groot intro bullshit. just about everything after was the father bullshit
>sound track woven into the story
wot. every so often there would be a 80's track playing for no real reason. didnt add anything to the story.
>
>G-gotta get that last quip in!
Sorry bud, can't hear you over 800 million box office. I'll enjoy my godlike taste.
>lol my wifes stoic demeanor made my dick hard
>haha XD I have huge turds
>daddy talked about impregnating mommy all the time lol human so uptight am I right
Nah Drax definitely needed to tone it down.
>You have to be 18 to post here, sonny.
Then you shouldn't be here.
Fucking roasted.
>marvel films
>godlike taste
lol
GotG is a bit different from other movies in the cycle. And it's not just the setting. The characters are more likeable. They're relations are improving but already are like a family. The Avengers aren't a real team. People praise scenes like the party from Avengers 2 because there's nothing else.
thanks dude. that's a terrific visual representation of me and my friends watching Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 at the local AMC LOEWS IMAX 3D theater, specifically during the warp sequence!
GotG have pretty much been the only well-realized movie so far. In a sense they barely feel like MCU.
This makes it look like a standard Avengers hero shot. The best part was the moments before that webm how they all sort of naturally came together.
It has a heart. In the first the beat the villain with their weaponized friendship and the second had cute silent montage of the good moments Quill had with his friends. Don't expect anything like that between Iron Man and Captain America.
>grade school tier "no u" retort
Truly pathetic lol
it's also because their pacing seems to be much better and that's all on the director. for example, the second one really gave both audience and characters time to breathe after everything that just happened with a proper epilogue.
>but already are like a family
>millenials think people shouting at and bellitling each other is what being a family is about
apart form some cringe quips the move is great.
>said he'd let me have the last word
>doesn't
Pathetic.
Also it's extremely hard to have a movie with a sci fi setting and make it interesting. Few movies succeed and usually the budget is the issue.
Better than your shit taste, kid.
>can't even tell who he's talking to anymore
>regurgitating my words back at me because his dumb ass can't think of a single thing to say on his own
No really, fucking pathetic.
>wah wah gimmie last word my autism can't handle it otherwise
lolno
Keep crying.
Wait, people actually liked it?
By the end I was literally rolling my eyes from how much it tried to be emotional but failing in every aspect of it.
>defends marvel films
>calls others children
lol
Drax was fine, it needed less cute Groot. The opening went on too long, the prison bit was funny, but went on too long and the bomb button just went on too long.
>still crying
Kepp crying sweetie, let it all out.
>Drax was fine
Are you completely ignoring the cringeworthy examples of toilet humor and dick jokes I just posted? Shit almost ruined the character for me. He was perfectly funny in the first movie, I don't know why they felt the need to turn him into some goofball meme master for the kids in this movie but it was cringe as fuck.
They're all bros now. You don't talk like that with someone you hardly know.
How fucking old are you? Why are you trying so hard to defend dick and turd jokes? That is the lowest of the low brow "humor" and it wasn't funny to anybody over 10 years old.
GotG1 was a piece of shit though, just not as cringe as this
I don't hate Marvel, DC or Capeshit in general, but it's actually rare to have a great movie, even a good one.
This one was good, really good. In two movies, you are more attached to this team and those characters than the Avengers for fuck's sake.
DUDE DADROCK LMAO
It's more of a comedic space opera rather than standard capeshit
How old are you to be offended by it, grandma? I don't think it needs defending, it didn't bother me, that's why I said it was fine.
It's going to be a sad moment when they actually get wrapped into the greater MCU storyline and have to spend half their time advertising other movies from that point onwards
...
grow up anons
...
It's not offensive you invalid, it's juvenile as fuck. Drax is far from "perfect" when he's making quips like "I maek big poops LOL!!!! XD"
