I liked that movie as a kid.
it's wholesome family entertainment, a retelling of the ugly duckling but with a cultural twist. Greeks haven't really been a part of mainstream entertainment so it was sort of refreshing I guess and Nia seemed like an inoffensively frumpy heroine that anyone could relate to.
I don't get why people hate it so much. as family-oriented comedy slapstick it's literally fine.
