Is beef in your country cheap?

Is beef in your country cheap?
In korea edible beef is so expensive..
200 g / 30~50 USD
I love beef but it is too expensive to eat every day

What is edible beef? The good enough beef is on $6 or $7 per pound

Here it can be anything from 30 - 50 USD per 100 g.

Sorry, per 1000g it is.

That's still pretty bad.

If that's 200g, it costs approximately 20-30 usd

Thats for good beef tho, cheap foregin one you can get for like 7 - 20 USD

Why is it so expensive? Its cheap in China.

The eternal quintessential Canadian

>No land to feed cow
American beef is good and cheap
200g / 10~20 USD

I meant cant you import beef from china?

What about non-edible beef?

Which cut?
What grade?
Frozen or not?
Generally you can get 1kg $12 and over, that's for marbled beef

6 or 7 it's cheap and tasty

I never heard about chinese beef

There is no edible beef in market I can't see them

Depending on the cut 10-50 usd a kilo

No, and I get plenty of free beef because of the farmhouse of my grandparents

I wouldn't eat any meat from China if I were you. Good way to die of heavy metal poisoning.

Here is 5 usd per kilo

Beef here is pretty expensive too, especially compared to chicken and pork.
Even non-wagyu, non-marbled garbage quality Aussie/ American beef is not cheap.

Our beef isn't garbage you asshole.
And if you fucking nips didn't tariff the shit out of our beef you would be able to eat it every day.

yes; it just costs your life

Go to Vladivostok and buy it there.
The cheapest chilled marbled beef goes for ~1000RUR per kg

calm down
we know america has several grades on exported beef, from garbage quality (trust me it's really garbage, like too firm like leather sandals) to top chef restaurant quality.
naturally you assume the latter top quality beef costs a lot and low quality beef is affordable in supermarkets, which actually isn't the case.

It's comparably more expensive than pork and chicken but not 30-50€.

200g is like 4-6€

>, like too firm like leather sandals
Are you a lover of "well-done" steaks??
Just go easy with the grill and you can get good enough result with "Select" beef grade

Why would you even eat it everyday?

I exclusively do rare and medium rare of course.
Longer than medium rare is a waste of meat.

Around $10/kg for worse cuts
$15-30/kg for better cuts like tenderloin steaks
Pork and poultry are around $5/kg

It depends of what do you want, but it goes from USD 4 to 10 per kg

>Go to Vladivostok
I live in Niigata (a large port city located on the sea of Japan coast just across vostok) and see a lot of Russian car/drug/seafood dealers here.
They scare me so much there's no way I'd like to visit Russia.

Do supermarkets in your cunt have their own butchers in the meat section?

Some market ' we wuz premium ' have their own butchers
but generally they don't have

I have visited japan and tried wagyu steak it was great, pretty expensive as you said

But american, aussie beefs are also good
As a beef mania
non-marbled beef has it's own taste

Yeh I'd much rather have all the estrogenic growth hormones in yank beef .

>Russian car/seafood dealers
Huh?

Beef here is 20e-30e/kg

€30-40 per KG
€40-60 if you go to a butcher, but those doesn't really exist.
Cheap import? €20 per KG, even less if you import in bulk

Yeah but they expensive and shit. Most of the food has been for days to weeks in there.

wtf... what do you usually eat then?

Fileè of Salmon(€11/kg)
Chicken(€13/kg)
Ground beef(€11/kg)
Almond-potato & carrots(€2/kg)
Pasta & flour(€1/kg)
Greenhouse vegetables(€4-7/kg)
Milk(€2/liter)
If in doubt, a restaurant visit usually costs €20-25 per person for normal food. Beef is twice as expensive

>estrogenic growth hormones
Neither rBGH nor the steroids used on beef cattle are estrogenic.

supermarkets import from Poland or something, you get beef for 15-30€ a kilo depending on the cut.

local meat goes around 40-50.

I ate a very good chateaubriand in Poland for about 10 USD. Heck, life's so cheap there maybe I'll retire there.

Days, sure, but weeks? I doubt it, they'd be fucked if a health inspector happened to check it.

Do polish beef have good taste?

Premium stuff can be found around 25 USD (kilo). Standard around 10 USD (kilo)

neighborhood small butchers shops are always better with fresher meat without being much more expensive tho

4 - 7€ per kilo regular price

15 - 20€ per kilo for prime cuts

25 - 40€ per kilo for some hipster beef

but we like pork better

local beef is better but yeah, it's good for what it costs. don't know if it's actually polish, obviously eastern Europe but could be Hungarian, Czech or anything.

their pork is shit though, dry as fuck.

Of course.

But there are also small butcheries. The one on the town center is very popular. There is always a line.

Sure, the Fish part too. Some times even the jamon section has a dedicated one.

From what I'm watching here, now I thanks god for paying AR$ 120 the kg of meat for milanesa, and not fucking €30 per kg of shitty quality cebu meat.
