>I'M A BARBIE GIRL
>IN A BARBIE WOORLD

>LIFE IN PLASTIC
>IT'S FANTAAASTIC

>COME ON BARBIE LETS GO PARTY
>AH AH AH YEAH!!

dolphins on the Enterprise?

Captain I sense they want fishies and cuddles

Its canon that there were doplhins on the Enterprise, but them being there as members of the crew thankfully never made it into the show.

just watched Measure of a Man again, even though I'm in the middle of TOS

Riker had a hard job, but someone had to suck it up and handle the situation.

It's also Gene Roddenberry's birthday.

>birthday

He ded nigga

It's still his birthday

I agree. One of my favorite episodes.
>Pinocchio is broken

Daily reminder that Roddenberry was a drunk and a rapist
does that make him /ourguy/?

Data didn't hold grudges, but he was an ice cold nigga if you crossed him

youtube.com/watch?v=mXWrlze_MO8#t=25s

>drunk
True
>rapist
Citation needed. He was a sex hound, but it was all consensual.

Is it any surprise that the ultimate MILF...

>everyone hated Kirk
>gay jokes hurt Sulu's feelings
>Uhura made up a story about MLK telling her to stay
>Chapel was Gene's mistress, network rejected Number One over his casting couch antics

>Hurley harassed Bev
>cast & crew didn't welcome Pulaski
>Gene wanted to fire Troi until Bev & Yar quit
>Gene was high/drunk/senile, his lawyer went power mad

>Ben was high, only close to Jake
>Jadzia wanted fewer episodes, Berman's ultimatum was 26 or 0

>T'Pol said Braga was good for T&A, shit at writing
>UPN execs had bad ideas, like real life pop bands ending episodes

>the Native American advisor was really an Armenian scam artist
>Berman mandated humans acting wooden, to make aliens pop
>Chakotay hated his blandness, demanded pay raises hoping to be fired
>Chakotay dated 7 because he demanded a romance
>7 was hired because Braga wanted to sleep with her
>Janeway didn't like 7 ruining her feminist vision, so she bullied 7
>that stopped when 7 slept with Braga, ruining 7's marriage
>when 7's divorce details became public, her ex lost the race for Illinois Senator to Barack Obama
>the bullying was so bad that Kim bursts into treats and cries at conventions
>Kim & Paris avoided the bullying by spending their free time at the snack table
>writers threw fat jokes into scripts over their weight gain
>execs hated Kim when he talked to TV Guide about Berman's decree
>they wanted to fire Kim until People Magazine said he's one of the Most Beautiful People
>instead they fired Kes, her life spun out of control and she fell into drugs & crime
>they still didn't let Kim direct an episode
>Tuvok has no life outside Star Trek, now he's the driving force behind Renegades
>Moore joined but left when he saw the VOY execs "don't give a shit"
>Fuller says VOY writers were disgusted by Star Trek, thought they were "better" than it

Who?

Became the ultimate GILF?

Someone post virgin lieutenant vs chad first officer.

Me nigga

a technical manual (not the writers' one, but one made by the tech guys for consumers) has them as navigators

here's concept art for what could have showed up in STO

Nah. Nana is the ultimate Trek gilf.

Wow, voyager was an IRL dumpsterfire that may have resulted in donald trump getting elected as a backlash to Obama.

>totally_not_a_Xindi.gif

boring

I don't even know who that is

...

>I don't even know who that is

nigga you gay

Sisko being a single black father was the big reason Brooks took the role so I can buy the Jake part. Any proof to him being high the whole time, or is that just based on him fucking with Shatner in The Captains?

I know there is aquatic lifeforms in the Federation, It's just sad the shows budget prevented them from being seen outside of "Enterprise"

>>Moore joined but left when he saw the VOY execs "don't give a shit"
And then he went on to make his own vision of Voyager, and it was beautiful

If it ain't from TOS or TNG I don't know them.

Fuck she's aged well.

lads I'm pretty drunk right now
might just doze out on my bed and watch some st
good idea yeah/

...

Gates has a great body, even now

But she was never sexy, nor could she ever act for shit

Don't forget
>Bashir hated the genetic enhancement storyline so much that he would phone in performances, pinning his lines to someone's back instead of bothering to learn them

Nigga she's barely 60.

Time's Arrow are the ultimate comfy Trek episodes.

Don't forget the Royale

>was never sexy
As in "sexy" is a specific type of attractiveness that she doesn't happen to fall into or she isn't attractive?
>could never act for shit
I've heard this criticism about literally every actor and actress I've ever seen discussed on here.

>Tuvok has no life outside Star Trek, now he's the driving force behind Renegades
BASED Tuvok.

>T'Pol said Braga was good for T&A, shit at writing
BASED T'Pol

>the bullying was so bad that Kim bursts into treats and cries at conventions
>Kim & Paris avoided the bullying by spending their free time at the snack table
Poor Kim

>cast & crew didn't welcome Pulaski
Poor Pulaski

>Gene wanted to fire Troi
BASED Gene

dabo!

Hell yes, The Royale is the perfect blend of comedy and high sci-fi.

Step aside ladies.

would LOVE a threesome with nana and terry

...

>nor could she ever act for shit
Agree'd. I especially hated that stupid little twitch smirk should would always do in each scene whenever she wanted to show emotion. Holy shit it infuriates me. I find her lack of acting ability confusing because she even went to France for a while to learn how to act from some renowned acting coach. He must have been at his wits' end with her.

That said, Tasha Yar had the worst actor on the show. She couldn't deliver dialogue to save her life.

...

...

who does /trek/ consider to be the top 10 best actors from any of the trek shows? regular and recurring cast memebers only ofc

Jeffrey Combs
Andrew Robinson
Marc Alaimo
for starters

wasn't he a speed freak too?

Ice cold but totally correct. That's how the chain of command works and there are important reasons it works that way.

I like Roddenberry more and more. He's a man I can relate to, I just wouldn't let him near any female I know.

all good choices ofc. any of the female actresses you consider top tier?

He was an officer in "the war", and decided that nobody would want to watch peasants being peasants

Which is why every fucker is an Ensign or better

>Backlash against Voyager starts ww3 and ends humanity.

I want to believe.

I sometimes wonder why Majel put up with him.

Bitches like riches

Same reason Emilia Clarke puts up with Seth McFarlane

I didn't expect any good acting in a sci fi show desu.

I can smell that clam from here.

For about 2 seasons.

Pfft, in no real order.

Patrick Stewart
Jeffrey Combs
William Shatner
Marc Alaimo
Brock Peters
Avery Brooks
Dwight Schultz
Kurtwood Smith
Jeffrey Hunter
Ricardo Montalbán

Jolene Blalock
Diana Muldaur
Nana Visitor
Nicole de Boer
Louise Fletcher
and most of the guest stars who were more than eye candy

No order

Patrick Stewart
Robert Picardo
Avery Brooks

Are the first two season THAT good?
..I hear this often

It's an incredible show for 2 seasons, then all the mysterious bullshit and religious symbolism hits critical mass, the plot jumps the galactic shark, and the series goes the way of lost.

Good choices...and IMO Seven was good...her looks were just so distracting

Thats what I hear...I plan to check it our after ENT and possibly SG-1

It seems like DS9 got the most best female actors of the lot. Louise Fletcher was always my favourite of them.

When your boy Kirk asks for a phaser rifle and beams down to the planet for a 1v1 with god with the future of the entire human race at stake all while wearing the comfiest outfit of all time.

Battlestar Galactica is literally perfect all the way through, though a surprising number of people didn't like the religious direction it focused more heavily on in season 3 (despite it being signposted from day 1), watch the miniseries and see if you want to continue, just part 1 will be enough to convince you I'm sure.

I haven't watched Voyager yet, but she and Janeway seemed pretty decent from the little I've seen.

Whoever did the casting for DS9 was pretty on point. Louise Fletcher was great as Kai Winn.

I really prefer the more philosophical duel of wits approach that TNG took with it's godlike entities.

Janeway's actress is fantastic, but she was given shit direction and lines. The writers didn't know if they wanted her to hate coffee or like coffee, and it switched from episode to episode.

Yeah, they both have their own benefits. TOS for its cheese, weird sci-fi stories and four insanely charasmatic leads and TNG feeling like a piece of a real functioning future society. It's pretty hard to say that TOS is the better series, but I know I had way more fun watching it with TNG.

bum bum bum bum BAH BAH DU BA BUM BUM

>>Fuller says VOY writers were disgusted by Star Trek, thought they were "better" than it

why do i feel like this is gonna happen again with STD

Didn't most Trump Voters vote Obama?

youtube.com/watch?v=9ptS22cWg8E

Yeah it's kind of plain but I enjoyed it.

>didn't the people who called Obama a race-baiting muslim terrorist vote for Obama??

>Hilldawg assuming they know anything about electioneering
That's why you lost, remember?

Not sure if baiting or legit prejudiced against wrongthinkers

Don't look at the facts, your worldview might get shattered.
In the meantime, keep talking about a show that is all about broadening your horizon.

Wait, wasn't it Hillary who questioned Obamas origin?

>7 seconds in
>she does THAT FUCKING SMIRK AAAAAAAAAAA

I TOLD YOU ABOUT MCFADDEN
I TOLD YOU

would you fuck the Borg Queen?

Classic t'Sup Forums

>the violent racists are the ones that voted for Obama

>14 seconds in
>SHE DID IT AGAIN
NOT EVEN 8 SECONDS WITHOUT IT

Yep, that's bait alright

It's just a reassuring smile. That's a smile you do when you want someone to stay comfortable/calm. Come to think of it, that's something a doctor would be doing a lot.

No, she does it all the time in every scene she's ever done. Whether she's reassuring someone, sad, sarcastic, angry, happy, it doesn't fucking matter. She. Always. Does. That. Fucking. Smirk.

Then call it a character trait?

>Kai Winn grabs disguised Dukat's ear
>he has an orgasm
what did he mean by this

he enjoys cosplay.

You mean foreplay

>Even as I fell, I knew that I wouldn't die. I knew I wouldn't die because the 2 of you were with me.
>I do not understand
>I've always known... I'll die alone.

Anyone else fly into a blind rage when thinking about Star Trek Generations?

STD is going to crash and burn and its all white males fault.

still miles better than the nu-Trek movies.
