I think this is the worst episode of rick and morty ive ever seen. at least in past episodes, i could tell they were trying their best to make a good and funny story, even if they didnt. This has to be one of the most bland and low effort episodes of the show

female writers ?????

Pickle Rick was worse, because of that Wong.

better then season 2 and its forced emotional episodes.

another 5 minutes for a less rushed ending would have been cool. Although the it's not morty climax in the ride was a pretty nice touch

This show used to be experimental and engaging, in addition to being absurd. Remember the split time episode? Now it might as well be another Macfarlane vehicle, only without the gaggle of characters to leech chuckles from

I don“t share your opinion

It's one of the better episodes desu

Predictable as hell though.

The split time, miniverse and memory parasites eps seem to be the only ones worth one's time. Rest is mediocre at best or just annoying.

>i could tell they were trying their best to make a good and funny story
They were just taking the piss out of Guardians of the Galaxy, it's only subpar because it's deadpan, brutal satire of comic book heroism and honestly I think some1 sounds a lil ****triggered****
see Rickmancing the Stone was written by a woman and it was hilarious.

Pickle Rick was great, so no & kys, and Wong rationally criticized Rick's entire ethos, which also addresses 90% of viewer criticism that Rick is pointlessly cynical and an edgelord, so it was clever self-satire of the show I thought.

these

I appreciated the shit out of that episode for being incredibly subversive, but there's only so much you can do with split realities as a plot point before it becomes a trite theme. Excluding interdimensional travel, different timelines are explored or at the very least mentioned is almost every episode.

Everyone in this thread seems to expect a 10/10 "woah dude" episode every time, which all three of those episodes were, but even the inter-dimensional TV episode that was a bunch of skits and the most derivative of Family Guy was hilarious and done well.

triggered redditor spacing detected. Also the interdemionsional tv episode sucked balls and ping pong therapist talk was the worst ten minutes of animation (besides steven universe) I have ever watched.

I thought it was a decent tribute to Saw. I liked it a lot desu.

>reddit and memey
it was always shit

There used to be am A story and a B story.

It meant that the A story was better but B was able to give time for the A to breath.

An example B story is when Beth performs surgery on a deer.

This season has no B story and thus the episodes feel forced and aren't as interesting. The A story has to try too hard cause there's nothing to balance the story.
