I've no read the books, nor have I watched any episode. Yet the conculsion of the BBC, does ring true. I remember someone discussing GoT on some Dutch talk show. Most guests and audience members were disgusted that most characters in the books where underage. In short many people were asking why this degeneracy was being promoted.
