What went wrong?

What went wrong?

Their entire design is boring. Why didn't they get some more menacing looking armor? Why do they even use armor?

Not the same White Walker you fucking retard.

JUST

Too much CGI. Won't age well.

yes it is

I think he looks great at Hardhome though, looks intimidating as fuck and has an expression of pure hate.
Since then every appearance he's had he looks like a guy wearing a derpy mask, just totally expressionless.

My favorite too
nice trips

>the virgin summoning

>the chad necromancy

>i'm cold
>i had to wait 7 years for this dragon to show up
>i need a shit
>why is this dragon taking so long to wake up
>it's cold up here i really need to go south
>i'm cold

Why did they make him into a manlet

Why does he wear regular mook armor

>hey let's copy the linch king from wc3 lmao
>oh and he was human before, just like arthas.
>oh and let's associate him with snow and blue magic, just like in wc3
>oh and lets make him revive people and turn them into ud, just like in wc3
>oh and he will kill a dragon, and then revive it, just like in tw3

dumb phoneposter

Nothing?

Richard Brake was only needed for one season, as they always intended for Isaac Hampstead Wright to take over the role in season 6.

>even the CGI gets different characters between seasons

but why

They actually changed the actor for the Night's king, which is why he looks different/less menacing.

Since it's Brann wearing the costume and make up now of course he's going to look a little different.

Shame that decision got made, looks lean and menacing as the previous guy, looks bloated and dopey by comparison now.
It feels as though the new guy is more robotic in the role, whereas the short bit with the other guy at Hardhome he moved with a bit of attitude

I like the fact that it's not exactly hate, but more utter, cold contempt.
He's staring them dead in the eyes, casually showing them that all their efforts amounted to absolutely jack shit, and clearly demonstrating he doesn't give a fuck that they're getting away.

Brilliant moment, and I'm frankly surprised they pulled it off, given that it's OC.

>hordes of undead marching to kill Arthas and usurp the Lich king is the same as marching the guy you control to the characters
>dude blue eyes
Your precious WoW was not the first to have balefire in undead eyes
There is clearly a different look in how rotten the dragons are
>liches are human before they're liches
Holy duck batman I think you're onto something
>kill them then raise them isn't how most undead bad guys work
You have autism that many would think is just bad parenting

Nice try lmao

it went right

The previous guy had a great bone structure for applying prosthetics to. The new guy not so much, and your brain can clearly perceive he is wearing a mask.

>white

>petty medieval feudalism distracting people from the looming threat of an undead army that seeks to slaughter them all
>chosen one in the form of an unseemly loser
>unlikely alliance with the sworn enemy bearded red-headed savage from the North and his men

whereas in every episode since he's been totally vacant and expressionless.
I don't feel threatened at all now, but at Hardhome I finally saw them as a credible threat pretty much solely based on the look he gives them

>hordes of undead marching to kill Arthas and usurp the Lich king is the same as marching the guy you control to the characters
>marching to kill arthas and usurp the lich king
dude what lmao
plot twist:lich king isn't a lich either

you don't even know what arthas did there,he wasn't the one to kill the dragon,he simply raised sindragosa, she was dead for 10k years

Two different actors. The first image is also shot from a more menacing overhead angle. It gives him a better scowling expression. Shooting him straight on or from below doesn't make him look as good.

Reminder that the only reason the night king looks good is because his makeup is one of the only practical effects left in the show

looks like shit

What were those horses of skeletons marching doing then if not killing arthas
Lich king is some thing created by the dreadlords to prepare for a daemonic invasion, yes it's more like an evil advisor that grants powers
He got off his throne and summoned some dragon that was a few feet away, what else
