Why are muricans so friendly with people they don't even know?
Why are muricans so friendly with people they don't even know?
why do americans act like they are on a tv show? seriously
why are europeans and others so unfriendly and even rude to strangers (store employees for example).
America got its small talk attitude from the underclass immigrants they received during the 19th and 20th centuries. Elsewhere in Northern Europe (which was the main source of such immigration) the act of small talk has remained something frowned upon and deemed to be rude and inappropriate.
they're strangers, fuck them
(?
It's kinda nice tbqh :3
This video make me very uncomfortable
people ride uber instead of taxis
if you're with a group of people getting a ride it's because you're going to go drink
if you're with friends going drinking you're friendly, probably pregamed a bit
but rude store assistants/public service clerks suck :( it is common in europe. but if you get to know them better they may become your best friends. they are like nervous doggies, they need to sniff you first and then they will wiggle their tails. but if you startle them with your friendly attitude when they don't expect it, they might start barking and could even bite you instead.
>be Norwegian
>go outside
>people respect my personal space
Feels good
Why is everyone else so unkind to people they don't even know?
Being nice is the ultimate recipe for becoming a cuck
We do small talk to distract ourselves and cope with the degenerating reality around us
This is my worst nightmare.
Americans are chads while eurogirls are introverted little bitches
This is one of the things I envy about northern Europe
How's it like to be an uber driver in your cunt?
you just have social anxiety nerd
We have no personalities so we mimick fake personalities we like
Why? Is it a bad thing to be kind?
america has a fucked up culture in which efficient social interaction isnt possible. be nice to a stranger is literally sometimes the best way to make a friend because everything else sucks so much
>Elsewhere in Northern Europe (which was the main source of such immigration) the act of small talk has remained something frowned upon and deemed to be rude and inappropriate.
I wish the US was like that. Too many fake friendly people here.
I always talk with cab drivers, sometimes it's shit and giggles, sometimes politics and sometimes they tell me all about their life and it feel strange.
I always talk with ubers but they are always pajeets
I am coming to a rural area for business today, and I noticed people like to chat with strangers more than in an urban city when I went to out to eat.
People were waiting for tables in front of the door and they were chatting like "You are the 1st, you two are the 2nd, and we are the last bwahahahahaha How long should I waiiit?".
At that time I was like a stone and gazing at the door alone hoping to be opened by a clerk soon.
Seconding this, hard. Living here is hell. Everyone is constantly "acting". It gets so annoying after a while. Why can't you just be a person?
Because contrary to what you may believe reading Sup Forums, America is a very safe country and two middle class white people generally pose no threat to each other and have much in common to chat about.
