just watched a few documentaries about New Zealand and I'm really impressed about the Fauna and Flora. New Zealand seems like the better Australia because of no nasty poisonous spiders and snakes and no nasty crocodiles who wants to eat you. Also you dont have nasty and hot deserts and your climate looks in general more bearable then in Australia. Your isle looks like a paradise and I wanna visit you if i ever have enough money. Could any Kiwi tell me how live is in NZ?

We do have a couple of venomous spiders but they are really rare and the native ones are non-aggressive
I don't really have a good frame of reference to compare to the likes of Germany, but atleast on the south island people are pretty chatty. We still do a lot of the typical western holidays but since we are located in the southern hemisphere it's summer when we have Christmas.
If you like the outdoors and can drive there is a heap to do. If you like going out on the town I hear that that is kind of lacking ( in Christchurch atleast)
I can give you a vague idea about the south island ( chch and the West coast), but not elsewhere

I've only lived here so I'm not really sure how it compares to everywhere else but I like it, the flora and fauna is so unique because of it's isolation (unfortunately lots of it was wiped out by pests the E*glish )

its like germany for the most part, but you do need some health insurance on your own if you plan to stay for a while just for everyday accidents, anything serious you are usually covered for
we have a benefit which you can survive off but you do need a job for a nice life this isnt germoney
im not too sure on what jobs we are looking for but immigration.govt.nz has something about that i do know we need a lot of houses so we need jobs related to that (builders, carpenters, engineers etc)

I think a lot of them end up looking at mirco-fossils.
We have universal healthcare, but you pay to go to General practices. Medication is subsidised through the pharmac scheme, so most medications are pretty cheap. We do have like an unemployment benefit and like a pension, but I get the feeling those are very hard to live on. We have an optional retirement scheme called kiwi saver.
Public transport varies by area, in chch it's managed by ecan who contracts it out to bus companies.
However kiwis generally drive and our towns, cities arc are pretty spread out

Our current government is a minority government that is left-leaning (Labour and nz first{I guess a kinda hodgepodge slightly nationalistic party? Someelse can explain}) with a confidence and supply agreement with the green party ( very left leaning). We just went through 3 terms of a right wing government tho
