Probably Scarface, but the usual supects like Goodfellas, the Godfathers and Donnie Brasco are up there as well.
One that stuck with me that I do not see mentioned often is A Bronx Tale. DeNiro's directing debut is a very personal story. Not a whole lot of action or violence but it more than makes up for it in flair and character.
I didn't like Mean Streets much. I think Road to Perdition left me unimpressed as well.
