it was never believable
if you mean "when did it become unwatchable garbage", episode 1

Once the animation got less stylised, by which I mean it improved in terms of shading/detail at the cost of its construction paper look, and celebrities/one offs started looking more grotesque (around Season 10 or 11).

Those season-long storylines are absolute cancer. They're never going to make it episodic again, are they?

Literally next season

"For their upcoming season, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been candid in the press about returning to their roots of making one-off episodes of "kids being kids" after exhaustively satirizing Donald Trump throughout the 2016 presidential campaign."

After the movie, then again after Team America, then evenmoreso after Book of Mormon.

South Park pretty much followed the same trajectory as The Simpsons.

It started off well and kept getting better after S1 and S2. It was still watchable after S8 but it started to feel a bit off. It's been pure shit since S10.

where were you last season?

Never.

as soon as grown ass men did the voices

S01E01

When did the phrase "jump the shark" jump the shark?

I can't wait.

>they won't make fun of DRUMPF anymore
What a relief

season 8 was arguably its best season though

Hence "pretty much".

It's probably my favourite SP season.

It still has great moments, but this last season was a clusterfuck of unfunny, niche jokes about memberberries? And other stupid shit. At least when they used to pull that, it would conclude by the end of an episode in a funny way, now it just carries on to the next episode and the next. Until the viewer is just supposed to "get" the joke, and the joke last season was allll trump. Hopefully, they aren't still butthurt or i expect a whole season of pandering to the newest meme

When millions of stupid retards started forming their irl opinions based upon its shitty content.

leftist detected

When every episode became based off of current events. They were okay as a one-off, but once it was every single episode it became tiresome.

Moron detected.
You couldn't be more wrong.

Here's a clue for you South Park followers. No matter how many times he is portrayed as a "white racist"; no matter how much he rips on jews, Cartman's actual behavior is jewish to the core. Anyone who understands the jewish mindset will readily recognize this. Whereas Kyle, "the jew" is always played up as a tower of righteousness, a pillar of virtue, and a champion of compassion and fair play (which, in reality, are all inherently "white" characteristics), Cartman repeatedly engages in thoughts and behaviors which are traditionally, and unmistakenly, those of the jew.

Cartman is, in fact, the quintessential jew... albeit wrapped up in a superficial layer of whiteness, in order to promote and perpetuate the "white racist" stereotype. Tell me this isn't done on purpose, and I'll tell you what a blind fucking moron you are.

One other aspect of the Cartman character is that he oftentimes accurately describes jews and individual/conspiratorial jewish behaviors, but these truths are expected to be disregarded by the viewing audience as false because of Cartman's many lies and acts of deception, which in themselves are historically the inherent traits of the jew, but projected on Cartman, again, because he is white.

>leftist
>Trump literally gets raped to death in an episode

This isn't done on purpose.

Communism is a white ideology

What a blind fucking moron you are.
Antifa is doing the same things now, by dressing up as nazis and kkk so they can false flag their commie sympathizers and pull the wool over the eyes of normie idiots.

Guess who arrived on the same bus?

saying "shit" uncensored

Sure, Shlomo. Sure.
Did South Park tell us that?

...

Yessssss

>nu-Sup Forums hating on based SP
Sad!

...

Season 9 had some great episodes though

The whale episode and the beaver dam episode are golden

>Proof that South Park's brainwashing works

>dumb show making fun of stuff
>le brainwashing

when it started doing season long jokes that weren't funny

When they started doing Book of Mormon, then when they started doing Stick of Truth, then when they started doing Fractured But Whole.

The season long stuff was pretty shit. Last season was purest shit though, what a wasted opportunity. They had the perfect opportunity for the Hillary email scandal to be worked in, what with her meeting with Skankhunt42 in sekrit under the bridge and the giant email-scanning operation in Sweden and made something genuinely interesting and relevant, but nope, couldn't push that angle if they wanted to stay alive, I guess.

The show should've ended with You're Getting Old

It's not really a "they", tho. Matt Stone hardly does anything. Maybe he sucks Parker's dick or something. Who knows?

They've been best friends for a very long time, he helped in getting to the top and once they were there trey took control because he knows he's funnier. Also having an obvious Jew as your co-star gives him a pass to fuck with Jews as much as he wants without being called anti-Semitic.

Season 12 was when the show abruptly changed the most in quality.

I don't know specifically but Season 3/Bigger, Longer and Uncut was the peak of quality.

did they realize the drumpf shit is the lowest tier of comedy and that season was pure garbage?

Best news. I had lost all hope t.bh

When The Fonz jumped Kenny

Something something when they started making fun of Trump something

2011 not quitting the show after You're Getting Old

never you just got more depressed, but probably when they started cranking out turds in 6 days, instead of spending actual time and effort on it

When they traded off a cast full of funny original characters for terrible celebrity apprentices. We need more Terrance and Phillip, Ned, Jim, Chef, etc...

...

South Park was never good.
Deep down, you know it's true.

the pewdiepie episode, where they suggest that stupid shit kids and pre-teens watch on youtube is the future of entertainment for everyone, seemed like a shark-jumping moment.

>doesn't know how easily people are persuaded by humor

I guess that explains how easily Sup Forums has brainwashed you.

Season was the start of the garbage. Just like Season 12 of the Simpsons. 11 seasons of a show is enough.

But season 18 and 19 was obsolete garbage.
I have seen 4channers and shitty youtubers making fun of SJWs in more fun ways.
And season 19 with boring copy/paste Blimpf jokes I'm not even gonna comment.

With season 12 and above you have one shitty joke beaten to death for 20 minutes.
But with season 18 and 19 you have 2 shitty jokes raped to death for a whole season.

When they started getting political. Like the 9/11 ep where the end message was "support the war or get out of the country." 16 years later the war is still going and some South Park loving idiots voted for pro-war politicians.

>when did my show with an 8 year old strawman screaming about jews turn political?

Terrible American show to test how low they can get ppl to lower their expectations

Season 10 starts a decline in quality, but with a few good episodes here and there. Season 15 is when the show became completely unwatchable.

The Scott Tenerman episode. The show is still good post-shark jump, but it hasn't ever been the comfy kids being kids in a small town after that.

PRAISE HIM

6 the best season

sometime right before The Book of Mormon.

it got really heavy on the current events and pop culture references.

Good

I have received so many 1 and 3 day bans for posting anything remotely similar to the ideas portrayed in this post. The mods here call it "posting Sup Forums garbage on non garbage boards" in the ban.
censorship is scary, you know who is in charge of you when you are not allowed to criticize them.

There's nowhere else to go with it.

2007 was the start of the decline
2009 was when it was getting really shitty

How (((typical))).

>chef

user,I...

The episode where Butters becomes a meme. I remember liking it when I was a teenager but after rewatching it, it feels outdated and hard to watch.

When they turned Randy into a main (meme) character.

When every episode tried to parody current events.

Still funny in the moment but these episodes are seriously dated now.

Plus the whole season arc thing was a big mistake. They pulled it off the first few times (but again will become dated) but the last season they utterly fucked because they're lazy fucks who want to write each episode with less than a week to go.
