Wasted years...

Evening

I saw your thread yesterday, but it was literally the last thread on the board so I didn't have time to save it.

>letting /wastedyears/ die
Absolutely despicable. How are you today?

columbine 2.0?

Holy fuck I completely forgot this movie

It was gone by the time I pressed submit.

I'm fine, thank you. Anything new with you?

Just the usual, really. Trying to decide whether I should watch GS again this week or save it for Halloween.

Ginger Snaps is a very good movie. You should watch it again, user.

>you will never take nighttime walks by the river in freezing February weather together before coming home and drinking hot tea in bed

Why live?

Evening.

wat

I thought Nighttime Walks user and OP were the same user.

Yeah, I remember that I liked it. I also watched the two sequels and found them nice too. They were creepy in a particular way, the fact that the low budget was p clear and the werewolves were so badly done ended up giving the movie a special appeal. It was almost like what you see in those weird dreams everyone experiences at least once. They don't make horror movies this way anymore.

>I thought Nighttime Walks user and OP were the same user.

You are correct.

GS1's werewolf definitely has that low budget charm you're referring to, but I actually think the second movie's werewolf was a genuine improvement over the first (although that's about the only thing I would say GS2 does better). You're right, though—they don't make horror movies the same these days. How do you feel about the prequel?

But then why are you saying "evening" to yourself?

>But then why are you saying "evening" to yourself?

I'm not. isn't me.
Get yourself together, guy.

Oh, my mistake. This is what happens when you live in a perpetual state of sleep deprivation.

GS2 does a great job of dealing with the aftermath of the first with an interesting continuation of themes and highly interesting characters outside of B and G. 2 is a much better movie at its core.

>2 is a much better movie at its core
You've triggered me. I thought all the characters in 1 were written better and more interesting than those in 2. I didn't get any impression of depth or effort from anyone other than Ghost in the second, and even then, I'm not a particularly huge fan of her character (although I did enjoy the twist ending). 2 is good, but I don't think it's as good as I initially thought it was, and certainly not better than the original.

looks like a boy

2 doesn't feel as good as 1 in a lot of ways. The simpler storyline and the main sister storyline is great. But from a level of structural depth and interest 2 is a better movie.

They are very different movies, though, and fall in the Alien/Aliens or Terminator/T2 trap of each being great but at and for very different things.

>This is what happens when you live in a perpetual state of sleep deprivation.

As much as I hated being sleep-deprived or spending all night wide awake and then passing out in the middle of the day at the time, nowadays I look upon those times with intense fondness and nostalgia.
You should cherish these times. Being a functional normie is extremely overrated and not at all worth the bother. You should also sleep more now that you still have the freedom to do it.

I liked the prequel too desu. I've found it charming in a way. Would definitely watch again

>Being a functional normie is extremely overrated and not at all worth the bother

can confirm.

hope you lads are having a good day/evening

Lol I didn't have friends, last thing I'd care about was girls.

There is no better feeling than slyly talking down to and demeaning an introverted girl so she keeps self-harming. And then you berate her and point out her ugly scars while you fuck her throat. Just thinking about it makes me hard.

Well, although I don't agree with you, it's always interesting to see an opinion that goes against the norm. Your examples actually made me laugh, because even in the cases of Alien and Terminator, I've always found myself in the exact same position of insisting the first films were better than their immediate sequels. Must be something to do with how different people think, I guess, or maybe openness to experience.

My sleep pattern has been all right this week. I just don't feel like I gain much from the process. I repeatedly wake during the night and then feel like I haven't slept at all next day.

I think the prequel setting is comfy and that the costumes and make-up are great, but I'd say it's pretty safely missable unless you've a desperate craving for more GS after the first two. Seemed kind of contrived on the whole.

Well, there is usually a pretty even split on people who prefer Alien or Aliens. One is one of the best science fiction horro-suspense films ever made and the other is one of the best science fiction military action-horror films ever made. Terminator does a similar thing in how both T1 and T2 did very different things well.

As far as I am concerned, GS1/2 have a similar divide. And just like A/As and T1/T2 the camps are generally very divided on them. I know a lot of people who don't like the first at all but love the second. It's probably one of those subjective taste things.
