Americans cannot drive with this
Other urls found in this thread:
Neither can't I. Luckily they will soon be obsolote.
Canadians are almost as bad. All road testing should be done on standard transmission vehicles imo, if you cant drive this you shouldn't be driving at all.
Here we pass the driving test with the stick shift, there is not that much of automatic
You will unironically be laughed at here if you can't drive manual. People will give you a weird look and think "so he can't drive?"
>5 speed
lmao what is this 1990?
>you shouldn't be driving at all
I've been driving for years, never have I once gotten pulled over or into some sort of accident and I can't drive manual
(but I'm planning to learn it because I hate driving and it might make it enjoyable for me)
I can. It's a useless skill though and in traffic it's awful. Why does it matter so much to some people?
>Europoor can't ride a horse
lmao
t. mongol
The majority of cares here are still manual so it's like not being able to drive. You'd have to have your own "special car" like disable people who need specialised equipment in order to ride a bike.
expected a German flag making this thread
>(but I'm planning to learn it because I hate driving and it might make it enjoyable for me)
I genuinely don't understand this mentality, I know other people that just see it as a way of getting around but I don't get it. Have you tried driving faster? Pushing it a bit?
only on cuckmobiles
most luxury cars are automatic these days
>most luxury cars are automatic these days
Did anyone talk about luxury cars now you spastic mong, off yourself
Automatic feels like it was designed with elderly drivers in mind
t. king of the cuckmobile
>luxury cars aren't cars
t. king of nothing
Maybe before
The gearboxes more than 10 years old are all shite. Now they are superior to manual.
Maintenance is cheaper.
>only on cuckmobiles
>most luxury cars are automatic these days
Maybe the big luxury sedans, but performance sports cars manual and always will be.
modern day cars break down more and are designed so you have to repair/replace them and thus give people more money
Oh sweetie.. From lux to sport
>Rolls Royce
>Aston Martin
>Bentley
>McLaren
>Lotus
>TVR
>be british
>can't buy british car if you're not rich
well realistically they're moving to a dual clutch paddle shifter norm
True. But the gearboxes were genuinely crap for the most part before DSG became standard.
Wrong.
I said luxury but I meant luxury and sport.
This is a very America-centric view of what a sports car should be. The only reason they even still make M beemers in manual is because of the American market.
You literally can't shift as quick or smoothly as an automatic these days.
My dad told me that when he started driving back in the 70's pretty much anyone could fix most car problems on their own. It's just not possible now. Kind of a shit time to be alive tbqh.
Eh, driving automatic is more comfy. You barely have to think, not that you have to think much with a stick but it's still more work than automatic. I've noticed that I concentrate more when driving a stick.
This cunt is talking shit. Vast majority of car drivers here are manual unless you're a well off middle aged faggot. Anyone in the age demographic of this website drives manual.
>all owned by German and Chinese parent companies
Kek
>rolls Royce
German now
>Bentley
German now
>lotus
Chink'd
>implying implications
t.mongol
end us
How many are still british?
Even your average consumer brand, Vauxhall, is just VW cars with the logo swapped out.
>foreign ownership means they aren't british
nice meme. Jez is going to resurrect British leyland anyway
yeah because most people our age are poorfags. I drive manual but most sports and luxury cars are not manual these days. That's just a fact.
I can but I FUCKING HATE IT
please remove all manual transmissions except for sport cars and racing stuff
thank you
Ok you don't know what you're talking about now
Vauxhall is Opel= GM
A hell of a lot of cars use the same components/design these days across marques anyway, but Vauxhall/Opel are mostly British/German designed just like Ford of Europe till a few years ago.
Vauxhall is a GM brand not a VW brand. Vauxhall cars are rebadged Opels and Holdens (rip)
tfw you’ll never have a superior Renault car but instead stuck with a cheap, shitty blue Hyundai
Only cowboys and rednecks drive manual with those big ass trucks
>sports and luxury cars are not manual these days
Ah yes because they're the cars that best represent Britain as a whole these days.
Despite everyone driving manual, RR are now in automatic so we're an automatic country.
Modern rolls royce engines are all german made. Rolls royce just make the chassis.
Rolls royce is only relevant for its airliners engines nowadays.
GM sold Vauxhall and Opel
No, its a Volkswagen diesel
Oh yeah they're PSA now. Good, two less brands in the hands of american government.
We have made more of those than any other country
>GM is owned by the US government
read this in a california soyboy accent that fries out at the end
>GM is not owned by the US government
bailouts are a myth right
>they're PSA now
Honhonhonhonhon
Over time that gap will shrink until it reverses.
The only reason 1.1L cuckmobiles don't use automatic is because it's more expensive and heavier. And I suppose taste too, because automatics used to be shit and people are still stuck in that mindset. (A bit like German = good, American = bad, which is also bullshit)
GM has no outstanding debt to the US government nor does the US Government own any shares.
So you can?
Wait what...
You probably haven't driven that much then. When you're an experienced driver, gearshifting is pretty automatic.
My dad had an automatic car and i loved it, but i feel more confident driving a manual because the majority of the cars here are manual, and i might have to drive someone else's car when it's needed.
>You probably haven't driven that much then
True, and of course I don't have to think about it nearly as much as at first when I learned to drive if at all.
Same
You can actually pass the driving exam with automatic transmission, but then you can only ever drive cars with automatic transmission.
Took my licence in automatic but went back and did it again to buy a manual car. Frankly i much prefer manual. the only advantage autos have over manual is when you’re in traffic.
lel my mustang is 5 speed.
its from 02 ;_;
European manufacturers were late for innovation.
The failure of more than half a century ago still remains now.
Trippin for real
looooool I mean yes, Brits shouldn't have sold their companies to Germs and Poos, but seeing France talking shit makes me laugh, your cars are the absolute trash, ugly, unreliable, simply cheap, call me when you can made this
automatic car here viewed as for disabled people.
The European can't buy the hybrid car.
This is a car made in France
This is a car made in Italy.
Atleast it's contained within...
Or are they being exported outside?
how is you posting from that dirt computer
How do you feel knowing that I have a better computah than 95% of the people on this board?
>AZERTY
> msi
How are you able to type while choking on so many dicks?
u jelly
What
Sven's language is so irrelevant it doesnt even have its own keyboard layout.
thats because manual is literal autism and rolls royce doesnt want to cater to it. automatic is far superior at this point
No, seriously. It's a shit brand and you should feel bad. And I really hope you're not proud of your computer because it has a 1060 designed for laptops, because that would be like being proud that you have a 8 cm cock.
>1060 designed fir laptops
There is literally no difference in laptop 1060 chips and desktop 1060 chips beside a slightly lowered core clock.
There's a reason it's not called a 1060m.
It's a perfectly adequate less than 2 kg gaming laptop. Of course it doesnt hold a candle to my 1080 SLI desktop currently sitting at home.
>me want to buy the Renault Megane RS cos it's damn fast and quirky
>too afraid to drive a stick shift car as the last time I touched one was 10 years ago when I got my license (at 18)
At least it doesn't have a fucking butt.
youtube.com
even this man said today's automatic is great and useful
It does, though. Even we use it.
>hurr durr automatic is bettur bcus you have no to tink about the transmission and can focus on drive.
lmao. if you know how to drive with manual, after a time, you'll do it automatically.
