Can we have one of those threads in which we show each other typical houses in our countries? I'll start.

Do houses usually need protection on the windows, or is it tradition/ aesthetic or style?
10/10 comfyness.
That looks like it could be an old house in New England.
Depends on where in the country but here my little place is pretty standard. Sizes vary though.
Typical "Friesenhaus", popular in North Germany, especially in North Frisia.
There are ones that look better and are more expensive, but this one is quite average (for a newly-built)
But there is a great variety of architectural styles in Germany, depending on the region
Pretty much like this
Needed, depending on where you live. But it's so widespread that even in places with not much crime people are putting bars on the windowns because it's now a part of "culture" and "Brazilian aesthetic"
looks comfy
reminds me of los angeles
Even parts with low criminality do have criminality. It's never a bad idea to have them. Especially sice they don't cost much at all.
>he doesn't use containers
all houses in slav countryside look the same in terms of style, usually painted some pastel color like pink. Thankfully my grandparents went for white.
This would give /diy/ an aneurysm
actually I think yellow might be more common than pink
what's wrong with it?
Is this....usa?
Shipping containers are the quintessential /diy/ meme
I said slav countryside, so no
Ok, sorry. Where is it?
i think it's pretty cool
I was reluctant to say since they look pretty similar throughout much of eastern Europe but Bosnia
Beg your pardon, but I fail to understand why you would keep it secret.
get on our level
love it. I want this as my neet container
So this is what you spend your oil money on
I dunno. People are quick to be dismissive of it.
Houses like these are called "battlefront soldier houses", due to them often being built by WW2 veterans after the war for a piece of land gifted by the government for their service. You can find them pretty much everywhere.
same
Are these container houses actually common, or are you just hitting up some extraordinary houses?
awesome
Okay, but too small for a full family
Finnish families don't have 10 children, Rashmiel.
They do in Sweden
they are getting common here, building a traditional house here it's too expensive, containers are cheap and people are buying more of them, young people overall because rents here are also too expensive
Pretty version
Reality check
Is this typically near the city?
Working class suburbs about 15km away from Lisbon
Isnt insulation really poor in those kind of homes? (Really hot in summer and really cold in winter)
do you have assburgers?
probs
Why is Uruguay so SJW? Serious question. I know South American are communists in places, but Uruguay seems more all-in on the dude weed lmao and environmentalism.
no, because it is recovered inside with isopanels
this houses aren't related to communists, people buy them because they are cheaper
*covered
SJW is different from leftist??
Well, they didn't have a pro-weed or pro-mass immigration agenda in the Soviet Union.
Something traditional.
Do you think Cuba is pro trans or that the soviets liked niggers?
Welcome to Sup Forums we will take care of your Sup Forums education
This is a fairly normal upper middle class house.
Texas
usually something like this in my town
A pile of fucking shit. Americans have no taste.
It is in Canada you brain damaged slav
And it is one of the most famous mansions in the world, retard

These are a few examples of Mikkelson houses. They are absolutely everywhere in my city; I swear I've seen entire blocks of these things.
Simple enough in design that they can be "riced" a million different ways; the ones in the rich neighborhoods are often clad in a Colonial-esque trim and have had additions put on, but their humble roots are still visible.
I've always wondered why do they build them to look so cheap and shoddy? They look like I could punch a hole in the wall with my fist.
here is an average lower class neighborhood.
middle class
this is typical where i live
and finally a new middle class neighborhood.
What jumps to my eye is the lack of walls.
Every house like these in Portugal has a 1-2m brick and cement wall for privacy between everyone's yards.
Our houses are also much closer to the street so that the backyard is bigger than the frontyard, although that might be because your frontyards are huge on account of the space you all have.
Comfi
typical in Southern Poland
I live in a pretty rich town (even though im poor) and these are pretty common near the mountain. They are basically filled with rich as fuck white families with slutty, easy to fuck girls as kids.
I talk by experience.
Probably couldn't punch straight through, but it's easy to make a nice big dent in old drywall.
Many houses in America were built immediately after WWII. They were designed to be built up cheaply and quickly, to accommodate the influx of returning soldiers looking to start families (the baby boomers). Mikkelsons are small, but livable. There were some real shoeboxes put up though, I'll see if I can find a pic.
looks more aesthetically pleasing that most modern homes here. still its kinda small and has a small yard for being a rich home. here that would probably go for 200-250k
>They are basically filled with rich as fuck white families with slutty, easy to fuck girls as kids.
This
>implying USA and Canada are different
>implying if it's a PR'd shit it smells less
Brainlet (you)
Here, I've seen shittier looking ones, but this is a typical post-war "starter home".
id rather live there than a modern suburbia home desu
>retarded russian
wow big surprise
just makes me think of irish-italian catholic mutt people babbling inane drivel in their hideous local accent
>brap
Typical outer-city dwellings. We don’t have much space here.
there are houses like this in any suburb that was a cornfield 20 years ago
is there a little garden out back. It doesn't seem half-bad.
>no drive-way
What is this gommy shit?
Yes they will most likely have a small garden, we have the smallest average house size in the developed world.
typical finnish suburb
Why do finns love American cars so much? I've seen plenty of those on finnish roads, weird :D
What are the best towns in Finland?
Picrel
ivan most fins drive on shit cars iv actually seen better cars in russia on average than down here.
on the best towns i like anything in eastern finland(because im from there lol)
i hate western fennoswede faggots(this coming from finnish russian)
>finnish russian
Karelian or ingrian?
when finns talk about "finnish russian" it usually means that parents are russian but person himself was born in finland
my both parents are from st petersburg
>Canadian flag
>French language
>Snow in the picture
these three things always go along
That looks rich. Southern poland must be as good as South Brazil
Why are Russians so dumb? Must be vodka. It is classic style, can be found in many countries. Have you ever been outside of your SIberian village, ivan?
Typicall antique house from Trás-os-Montes from a family of farmers.
Kek congrats you made me laugh Joao
This is basically "my dad is a carpenter, and my mom is a teacher" the house.
taken directly off of the Wikipedia article for Vancouver Specials
The fuck? They managed to have the most expensive housing of Canada by selling these garbages?
the houses themselves are cheap, its the land which is so valuable. Many of them are being torn down these days and the Chinese are replacing them with big gaudy houses
What's so unusual about that. The OP said typical houses. Typical households. Not everyone is rich.
Kitsch beyond human imagination
