Exactly. Japan has millions of people slaving away in jobs, constantly crushed by drudgery and serving at the whim of their corporate overlords. Their working lives are so bad they find it hard to even find social lives outside of it and start families. Their individual spirit and identity are suppressed, turning them into soulless cogs in a great machine. The hierarchy is strict, and not obeying your boss can have major repercussions.
To me it's the height of capitalism.
