I read about his (Shintaro Ishihara's) books about the Japanese post-war nihilistic youth and I'm tremendously surprised at how genial he is. You should be proud of him.

Arguably old women are useful for keeping families together, but Japan is too individualistic nowadays and that doesn't hold true anymore.
As matriarchs, though, they still contribute less to society than they consume.
