Mexicans

Mexicans,
What's the deal with Mexcaltitan de Uribe? I was on Google Maps the other day just looking around and I came across a small island in the middle of a swamp. It's nearly perfectly circular and has a symmetrical layout. What's weirder to me is that there's literally nothing else around for miles. Is it a pilgrimage site? A tourist destination? What's going on here?

Never been there but it's a tourist site in Nayarit on the middle of a large ejido (Mexican soviet, a form of communal land ownership) with around 1k people

Just a comfy site I imagine, it's one of the dozen of localities that have been proposed as posibilities for the location of historical Aztlán

Aztlán

Very interesting

Wow, it honestly looks kind of beautiful

>, it's one of the dozen of localities that have been proposed as posibilities for the location of historical Aztlán
so that means all chicanos would return to mexico?

Aztlán has never been located outside of Mexico by any credible archaeologist, I think the point farthest north identified as such is Culiacán, it's even in their coat of arms.

The Chicano myth probably comes from their confussion at their being Uto-Aztecan peoples in the American southwest.

>a large ejido (Mexican soviet, a form of communal land ownership).
That sounds like what the Gunas have made out of their comarca here.

Are there crocodiles?

neat

I don't know what a Guna is but it isn't an usos y costumbres thing, this is what Zapata fought for in the revolution, Mexico is still in law a socialist country.

If it's swamp or mangle forest then probably yes.

No I meant. They don't have private properties and everything is owned by the Guna people. Or something like that. They had the Guna Revolution back in 1925 so they could govern themselves.

brat Slovan, kaj delaš v širnem svetu?

No, I know what you meant, most of our indigenous peoples are collectivists as well. What I'm trying to say is the figure is very much like a soviet in the USSR, it's not a Native American thing, it's in the constitution.

So you have these all over the country?

Pretty much, this is basically how 90% plus of subsistence farmers access land

When will we nuke your disgusting communist country?

Proud to be the Mexican SSR

Never :)
