But I have, people drive like maniacs, public transportation is shit, there's litter everywhere and there's a very uncomfortable amount of people screaming plus some rather shady characters in most crowded areas, and this is coming from someone in Mexico City.
Other than that it truly is an exquisite, magnificent city full of history and beauty and a very enjoyable place to be, the food is great outside of tourist traps and the night life is pretty awesome. The women are amazing.
Even if it's not your cup of tea it is a city anyone who can afford to should visit at least a few times in their lifetime.

I have though, twice, once when I was 14 with my parents and again last October with friends. It's easily one of my favourite European destinations, sure blows Paris out of the fucking water. Discovered the huge park in the middle of the city, with the old Virginia palace or w/e, when I was there last, really beautufull to walk around in.

Yeah it was nice, especially the museum at the synagogue. Didn't really enjoy the food though and waiters annoyed me when they tried to push me into their restaurants all the time.
