THE UNIVERSE NEVER SETS ON THE AMERICAN EMPIRE
How will frogs ever recover?
What's wrong adopting or taking up something superior (eating burgers over baguettes in this case) ?
home of the WHOPPER!
liar.

Gross
Yea, it's a dumb headline. Most english speakers wouldn't know what the sandwich is, so they just say "baguette" to keep it simple and reel in the clicks.
Quote from the article:
>You might think a sandwich made with baguette bread is the most popular food in France. But think again. The French are going crazy for hamburgers.
>A new study shows that sales of American-style burgers have overtaken the sales of the traditional jambon-beurre baguettes — the classic French ham and butter sandwich.
It's the whopper over here as well. Thank god they haven't tried to translate the names.
Like in the tv,
>Shark tank
...translation...
>Lion's cave
That's a perfectly fine translation
There's no word for "tank" in the sense it's used there in finnish. If it was translated literally it would "shark aquarium".
What's the word for a tank made for war?
>jambon-beurre baguettes
How is that not a baguette.
>tankki = tank
or
>panssarivaunu = armoured wagon
omelette du fromage
It's "tankki" like the other user said, but it can only mean a vehicle.
