Narcos S03

Where's the Narcos thread?

Hey Sup Forums, let's go for a ride

You just made it

How the hell did Miguel get inside there?

dat finale gave me an adrenaline rush
K I N O

That was the most retarded scene in this entire series

>That was the most retarded scene in this entire series

Why didn't they show us the secret door?

This. If that scene was written by some real writer like Chase, Weiner or Gilligan, it would have been a girl who was hiding and the DEA guys would have drilled her right in the pussy

Is this season any good?

Surprisingly good in my opinion. The show fares fine without Escobar

I love that shirt. Time to go thrift store shopping again.

So did he ever get to see the love of his life again

For me, It's David.

I didn't get the ending. Did Pena see something? Did he realize those were drug smugglers at the end?

>completely forgot about Season 3
>college starts up tomorrow morning
>in the few hours I have remaining I must watch as much Narcos as possible
WISH ME LUCK LADS.

Season was fantastic. Just as good as the previous dynamic - though I can't fucking believe how lucky Jorge was. He deserves to relax somewhere in Nebraska eating KFC with best wife.

He went back to texas with his father and told him he's done working for the DEA.

In earlier scene right before that fence building scene we see the Mexican cartel thugs shipping cocaine on some boat in that muddy lake.

Pena stopped and stared at the Mexican cartel thugs shipping cocaine into America in front of him.

This is supposed to set him off, he changes his mind and takes the Mexico offer.

yup

at least they should have noticed the blood on the drill

that and when jose hid in the accountants office from the dea

This season was carried in part by the actor who played Jorge. All the chips were on the table and each episode I dreaded how things would turn out for him and his family.

You cared because his wife was hot af and had nice daughters

Or he is so deep in this shit that he is starting to see narco shit in everything that is by any means completely innocent. 50/50

>Let me just steal the scene real quick.

I fucked up and spoiled the season for myself by glancing at an article headline about an interview with the real Jorge Salcido and what he thought about S3.

The headline alone fucked it up for me.

But didn't he see a boat first? Then he told his dad that he quit. Then he stares at the second boat?

His ending/outcome was so retarded. It seemed like they were building him up for something much bigger at the beginning, a Pablo 2.0.

[muffled rap music starts playing]

Is there a more punchable face?

The show still follows real people. There was not much of a show to be made of him. The only way they could have gotten something out of Chepe would have been for the focus to remain on the Cali cartel for a second season with Chepe going after some witnesses. Would have been pretty boring in the grand scheme of things they did with this season.

Spoiler: Pacho is gay

>inb4 someone claims this is netflix agenda

you know that by "see" he meant kill right?
and yes

>gay

*marica

I know it has the "it's a dramatization" warning in every episode but the finale seemed too convenient with out everything wrapped up.

This really happened in real life

T. Colombian

gay characters done right general?

Why does Chepe remind me of a GTA 4 character?

North valley, im gay

I want a French connection narcos season

I think he got triggered because of the amount of boats that passed

Well thats what happened. Pacho was killed in prison for trying to have a Norte de Valle cartel member known as Jàbon killed a week before. Chepe had some low level witnesses killed after his jail brake and got killed (there are 2 stories about how he was killed and they showed one of them in the end). The Brothers are still in prison and the Cali Cartel died.

Fuck your mother.

>esc no nos creen

I wanted more violence REEEEEEEE
the chainsaw, and fridge full of body parts scenes were nice but I wanted more
cant wait for M E X I C O

They went too easy on his portrayal as he was a known blood thirsty torturer. He killed people too clean in the show, while the real Pacho would be your run of the mill horror movie psycho butcher. The only thing that showed his sadistic side was the motorcycle scene and that was "justified" by them being dicks to him for being a faggot..

i thought it was shit, not because of no pablo, but because of no murphy, pena's narration didn't feel the same

>cant wait for M E X I C O
It will be too much even for you

fuck murphy i hated that faggot im glad hes gone

Jesus christ beaners are dumb

I wasn't clear with what I meant. I'm not going to explain myself either because I know someone like you will just respond with 'tism.

will they follow los Zetas?
I actually need to look into this.
maybe Pena will end up dead by the end of the show.

Well that's how the story went more or less. I personally was dissapointed with this season as it felt too trivial and the pacing was way too fast. They should have made 2 seasons out of the Cali Cartel and get some actual build up and flesh out the characters more as well as focus on the political corruption.

Still, everything is boring in Latin America compared to Pablos story in the war against drugs.

Murphy was always out of place and I never cared about him or his wife, I barely remember them and he was the main protagonist of season 1

They shat the bed with his wife drama, trying to pander to women who won't watch a show like this.

*half a man who would enjoy getting shot in his sigmoid colon

Pena will die in the first two episodes of season 4

How violent was 90's Mexico?

of old age after he retired. Kind of a bold move seeing that he is still alive and kicking.

That sucks user. I was so sure he would die. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

>have you guys installed windows 95 yet?
was he /ourguy/?

Not very violent at all.

Shit started to get serious in the 2000s.

At it's worst, it was probably on par with Medellin.

Which one?

*twink voice*

PACHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did he ask mobsters that

Pacho you crazy magnificent homosexual

He was trying to sell it them. He was an opportunistic little shit with zero brains.

Not like you can watch it after college has started? You don't have to study every waking minute except for exam season

what year is this supposed to be set in? I keep noticing potential errors in the background in terms of cars and fashion, especially when scenes switch over to NY

1993-1998

My only problem with this show is that Jorge speaks with such a Swedish accent when he speaks English. I immediately knew the actor was Swedish when he started speaking English

>tfw David was a linux guy and he got angry

You will need to make like 10 seasons at least, and start from the early century and the deportation of illegal chineses citizens and the rise of morphine/marijuana empires.
>Don Neto
>Caro Quintero
>Amado Carrillo "El Señor de los Cielos"
>Hermanos Beltran Leyva
>El Chapo and Mayo Zambada (Both brotherhood and break up)
>La Barbie
>La familia Michoacana
>Los Zetas
>Los Chapitos VS El Licenciado y El Mini Lic

>Swedish

Yeah just like every nigger and spic.

Was everyone in this season /our guy/?

There was the queer
The cool guy
the autist
and Gilberto "3 Wives" Rodriguez.

Also every woman in the season was insufferable.

Not a specific character, but he looks like he came right out of GTA 4, especially with the New York theme.

His name is spanish but he was born in Sweden and has a noticeable accent in both languages

In real life he eventually started his own engineering company and his wife went back to school. So they're both happily ever after now, etc.

That's how the real Miguel Rodriguez hid though.

He's still not a swede you fucking amerimutt. No more than a fucking somali born in Sweden is a swede.

There were basically not any violence from 50s until mid-2000s, back then Goverment made deals with cartels to let them transport drugs as long as they don't make a mess.

In 2006, Calderon was elected President, his cousin is married with El Chapo's cousin, so it started everything, he declared a "war" against drug cartels and basically attacked all rival cartels of "El Cartel de Sinaloa" (Chapo's cartel), the problem is they start breaking organizations apart, back the there were only 2-3 big cartels, now there are dozens of smaller cartels, and they fight each other to gain turfs and bussiness deals.

yeah they sure were #magapedes

You and that little bitch should kys.

Kindly see yourself out, fagot.

He looks like he has a carjacking mission for you

Was really hoping Jorge and Peña would be the new duo for S4. I know it doesn't make much sense but he had such a good screen presence.

He came off as an Ameriboo with his love for NY, the urban casual style and the golden dog tag.

They're building up for season 4 which is most likely going to focus on the Sinaloa cartel. They're still active to this day so there will probably be two seasons of Sinaloa.

> 701 EL CHAPO

I'm sure articles are written as we speak about muh treatment of womyn in Narcos.

>Gabriel Iglesias appears out of nowhere

>we require a certain amount of square footage

...

am I the only one who thought Pallomari was kinda funny. I mean, his lines weren't particularly funny but his appearance and mannerisms and the way he spoke were pretty humorous, especially during that courtroom scene in the final episode.

Maybe the "humor" didn't translate well in english but he did say a bunch of shit and the way he talked too

Now, the real guy and character is chilean but the actor is a Spaniard and didn't even attempt to speak in a chilean accent and just spew common slang, he also throws a few spaniard words in there
Really makes you think if the guy took it seriously at all
I'm not chilean though so I don't know if he got it right but my guess is that he didn't

I swear to god this entire season has just been those two younger DEA guys wanting to move the plot along and Pena being like "No, we can't do that. I don't have a reason but we still can't."

He was helping his father work in south Texas and they saw some smugglers coming up river from Mexico. Not much more to it, really.

Was David our guy?

Love pacho's shirts.

Just in case you don't know, José Padilha is director and executive producer of the series, the same guy who made Elite Squad, the brazilian genius

lol friendly fire

Actually every series has a bunch of directors, Padilha being one of them. He remains one of the producers, sure, but I don't think he directed any of the episodes this season.

This guy was terrifying. There's something about angry, violent manlets that scares me fajeesus out of me.

There was no wall, he got in and got his guys quickly a wall after him.
