It didn't just represent the political division of France during WWII but also the division between the aristocracy and the common people during the French Revolution, which makes the Rose of Versailles references more meaningful.

Not really since you know they're going to win. It's only exciting against the rare team that can put them down. It'll be interesting to see their rematch against Galway after they drew last time, and since both are undefeated in this year's championship but aside from that I wouldn't call the majority of their matches interesting.

It's the style of play that's entertaining, not the result of the match. A similar example in a different sport is peak Barcelona a few years ago - you know they weren't going to lose but they were a joy to watch if you like the sport just like with Dublin now. That said, because Dublin always win it is also entertaining to see a team beat them for the upset but that doesn't mean seeing Dublin steamroll other counties as expected is boring or anything

I don't think it compares since Barca earned those advantages with a golden generation of players and a visionary coach. People like to see that sort of talent and ideas succeed, Dublin's success comes from inherent advantages given to them, not earned through sporting talents. I think there's a lot of bitterness towards them from neutrals because of that.
If you were to compare them to a soccer team then maybe it'd be like FIFA deciding to combine all their European club teams into one team Europe. They would have more revenue than the combined revenue of every other team in the world and have access to one third of the worlds players.
Also on those occasions when they play LA Galaxy or Boca Juniors they would be granted home advantage each time. How fun would that be?

It was extremely prevalent in Ulster which had a big impact on the game, I'm not sure how much its played around the other provinces now but it was a big talking point around that time since it was new and threatened the attacking styles of play which traditionally succeeded. It was seen as a sort of doomsday for attacking football when Ulster teams won 3 out of 4 between 2002 and 2005 which was a bit of an exaggeration in hindsight.
