Are there any TV shows where homosexual characters are treated normally like any other couple and they don't focus on prejudice and persecution?

I don't know. If you put your dick in another man's anus and slosh things around, do you believe I'm in the wrong for not wanting to be near you when you pull out all those possibly airborne viruses?

The Wire.

Are there any homosexuals who act like any other couple and don't focus on prejudice and/or being as obnoxious as possible at all times?

Yuri on Ice was too unrealistic. You can't turn gay, and Yuri was clearly straight in the beginning.

Game of Thrones

not a show, but doukyuusei

>draw yaoi on ice
>call it yuri on ice
why is this allowed?

straight guys don't plaster their wall in posters of a figure skater

Legion revealed one of their characters as a bumder in the last episode of the season with no stigma.

kek

True.
There was plenty of gay to go around, but it was never a big thing that the story focused on (aside from the Renly arc). It was just another sexuality that happened to exist.

Modern Family

Unless there was a persecution-themed episode I missed.

Oberyn Martell made it feel like everyone else was missing out by not indulging in gay desires

>prejudice and persecution
that makes interesting stories though
overcoming adversity, forbidden love, etc.

a normal couple is just plain boring

>draw cute lesbian robot girls
>call it FAGs
Why is THIS allowed?

One scene in Cowboy Bebop has them interrupting a gay couple and they don't mention it

>inb4 >>Sup Forums

Modern Family?

Also Kaworu and Shinji in Evangelion kinda

Boku no Pico

Kek, this unironically. Even the adults would rather masturbate to kids fucking than question the wisdom of such a scenario

It's so unquestionably accepting, a perfect Bacchanalia

Because the real name is Yuuri on Ice and most people cannot into correct romanization.

I've never seen it but how was L Word?

Just finished this this week. Thought it was good. Too much skating, though. 70% of the last seven episodes are just skating, and they often repeat performances. Should have spent more time outside of the rink with the comedy and drama aspects. Needed more JJ.

meh overall, I dropped it after I found out my favorite girl died.

great show, no homo

but I probably would be if I found someone like Viktor

I was just thinking how YoI is better than Welcome to the Ballroom because of how much it shows skating and how it almost feels like you're watching a broadcast.

>tfw blonde twinks are nonexistent in real life

Oz I guess. But only relatively. Everyone gets shat on equally, niggers get treated like shit for being niggers, Aryans get treated like shit for being Aryans, muslims get treated like shit for being muslims and so forth including gays. It does get a little preachy sometimes but otherwise it's a surprisingly diverse and progressive despite being a hyper violent prison show from the 90s and despite not being shit.

I know a few, yeah.
They hate politics and political correctness and love my butt.

Certainly not that overrated shitty Tumblrbait thinly disguised as something worthwhile.

No, you were thinking about how YoI was better than WttB because it was "aggressively het".

how is yoi aggressively het?

Yes. Mostly in the fantasy/horror genre. No time for that shit when skellingtons and ghosties are about to eat your ass in a non-sexual way.

Lost Girl. A lesbian character, lots of bi male and female characters (main characters too), main protag is a bisexual polygamist.

Naturally blonde people are really rare in real life
except for John Daly of course.

I was talking about WttB. Some idiot on a certain LGBTQ)UEIOJHBFUSOHDZ soapbox said YoI is better than WttB just because WttB is "aggressively het". Also, when word broke out about the gay concentration camps in Chechnya, some other YoI fan whined about how her ship "can't set sail" because of them. YoI itself is boring and overrated at worst, but its fans are some of the worst breed of autism since Naruto.

Yeah my best friend :^)

>Legion
Goddamn... That show was fucking great. I unironically enjoyed the shit out of it.

I've seen some of YoI's fans and they are extraordinarily delusional. It's probably true for Western fujoshi in general.

I only go in Sup Forums yoi threads and besides some clear fujo bitchfights it's mostly tame and rational discussion
I don't even want to know what yoi fans on tumblr are like

>It's probably true for Western fujoshi in general
They're mocked in Japan and they don't even realize it. When "that" chapter of Tokyo Ghoul :re first came out and a whole bunch of yaoi shipperwhales collectively lost their shit, there were Japanese making fun of them. The majority of which were YoI obsessed, big surprise.

...

the fact that they call them "victuuri" is enough to get me annoyed

It's called BaldFat on Sup Forums but shipping nicknames in general are annoying. Liking the show is one thing, but they literally watch it religiously.

The Legend of Korra

YoI's Western fans think that Yuuri and Victor are in a relationship because they kissed and got engaged during the show even though neither of those things ever happened. That's how delusional they are. They also think that the show was cleverly censored because in Japan you are not allowed to show homosexuality anywhere.

>neither of those things ever happened
user...

There is no kiss in that scene. It's only meant to be suggestive of a kiss. You have to be delusional to not see this.

>Yuri never got molested by his dance teacher
>every doujin is just yaoi shit.
why.jpg

I suppose this was just a friendship ring, and victor was joking when he said they'd get married after yuri won gold?

It is a friendship ring and it was a joke. This is why I said Western fujoshi are delusional.

>It's only meant to be suggestive of a kiss
given victor's trajectory there's no way their lips didn't touch. The only delusion I see here is your denial

Victor hugs Yuuri. You can clearly see Victor's head is on Yuuri's right shoulder and that they land in that position. If Victor had kissed Yuuri then they would have landed with their lips together and then they would have probably gone for dental surgery afterards. There were also no characters remarking that they kissed, even though this scene happens in the most public way possible. Kissing is also a climactic event in anime, not something that happens incidentally and without anyone calling attention to it.

>people arguing if two cartoon characters kissed or not

holy fuck get a life

why do fujo always fall for the most overt bait, like cmon obviously the heavy implication is there to make the audience mark out but that doesn't mean anything in-universe

>no characters remarking that they kissed
do you think everyone watching would have silently stared in shock if it was just a hug?

They aren't cartoon characters and I didn't start this argument. There would not even be anything to argue about if fujoshi weren't so delusional.

It's already unusual enough that he pounces on Yuuri like that and they both fall down.

>They aren't cartoon characters and I didn't start this argument

ooooh excusez-moi

>because in Japan you are not allowed to show homosexuality anywhere
They obviously never heard of No.6, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura. The latter two are children's shows, no less. They really are delusional.

I bet you saved Chloe the Cunt in LiS.

Any gay anime that aren't by the numbers fujobait?

>They also think that the show was cleverly censored
Never watched the show but that could be true.
You can have the gayest anime ever, e.g. Free but they'll never show them in any explicit serious romantic relationship because that's degeneracy (casual homosex or gays played for laughs is fine with Japan though)

Explicit BL anime exists.

Why would the cast in the commentary yell "omedetou" at that part if it was just a hug, when they had already hugged on screen before?

>friendship rings on the ring finger
I find that hard to believe, user
when has that ever been a thing before?

Because it was meant to be suggestive of a kiss, as I already said. The whole show is suggestive. It's obviously gay as hell even though nothing really happens. This shit really is quantum rocket surgery to fujoshi.

because teasing and implication is the industry standard and what sells, not because of some concerted effort to hide and erase the "truth" about a fictional relationship.

If you've bothered to watch actual fujobait, yoi does far more to concretely establish a romantic relationship
Claiming the engagement stuff was just an elaborate joke that everyone treated seriously ironically is idiocy

In a prime time tv anime?
I don't think so.

Mostly japanese comedy dramas have this token gay whose sexuality is never discussed. E.g. Hana kimi

Spartacus. Two of the gladiators are gay and each is in a relationship with their boytoys and no one gives a fuck because it is ancient rome.

It is meant to be suggestive of wedding rings and getting married.

There is no such thing as fujobait and there is no relationship in YoI.

YoI wasn't prime time.

>there is no relationship in YoI.
you're not even trying anymore

19:30 - 20:00, that's prime time

There is no relationship in YoI. You are confusing your headcanon with what actually happens in the show.

YoI aired late at night.

No, see ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ユーリ!!!_on_ICE

That's what I just did (to double check my memory). It shows that YoI aired late. What are you trying to pull here?

Battlestar Galactica. There were prominent homosexual/bisexual characters but it's never really brought up. Their relationships serve as motivation, but the gender doesn't really matter.

That's a really bad example given the source material. In the books Renly and Loras were paragons of manhood, handsome and accomplished tourney knights, all women wanted them, even if they weren't actually good at war due to being unexperienced. Their relationship formed a part of their motivation, but it was mostly subtext and only became clear after you've read into it. In the show they're complete numales who are afraid of blood, and Loras prefers speaking about frilly dresses rather than knighthood. And they perform a blowjob in like their second scene together.

>毎週月曜 19:30 - 20:00

You're looking at the times for the internet radio show idiot

That's the radio show. Not the anime series.

Dragon Ball super

> Are there any TV shows where homosexual characters are treated normally like any other couple and they don't focus on prejudice and persecution?
The expanse had that one Diplomat be gay. They basically were a normal couple and talked either about politics because plot or about buying a house for retirement.
