i know only on thing about my language that is not fucked up. it's written exactly how it is pronounced. kind of.
I think youre just retarded
Same :)
Same here.
Some ancient component of the pronunciation still haunts in present Korean and makes some irregularities. But still it is pronounced almost as it is written - kinda.
I think English really needs to reform its alphabet, especially vowels. There are far more sounds than there are letters to represent them.
what exactly is wrong with it? I'm curious, I know next to nothing about Korean- I read a little bit on it some years ago and I remember the conjugation of adjectives and verbs being confusing but not extremely inconsistent.
Not as much retarded as her lel
At least my words make some sense
Oh boy, a few letters of the alphabet are completely useless because other letters could/already do the exact same thing (ç k z w y), the letter H is useless by itself as it has no sound, the only time it actually makes a phonem is If it's accompanied by another letter (nh lh ch, which is the sound of x), etc.
Conjugation, spacing, Korean particle, honorific, anything can be a brainfuck if you are to learn advanced Korean.
gorean suggs man :Ddddd
I was learning Korean for a while and the grammar seemed simple, for example 가 to easily spot subjects. I was only at a beginner stage before I gave up though so maybe it gets more complicated.
I have been studying korean for about 1 and a half year now. Sentences with 'hoofd- en bijzin' (= multiple clauses?) are quite tough. Quotation rules are also quite complicated.
Lot of beginners get confused when to use '은','는','이','가' to use.
Why do you study Korean??
Exactly. Why?
Because you through out Chinese letter (kanji)
Started in the summer as a meme to stay active, to not enroll into uni as a lazy sack. Now I'm quite invested. Altough I can only use it to read lewd material. Got a suggestion for real literature? I really need some more practice material.
It's a useless language.
Why did nobody tell me this?
Haha too late, be kpop fag now.
Literature... Give some brief detail about your taste.
But don't go for anything before independence because they will feel like Shakespeare for you.
It was not that hard for me. Hardest part is remembering massive amount of vocabulary because the words are not similar to any European language and that's where I lost motivation.
Because eSports
Always enjoyed a nice thriller, but books centered around war also work for me.
My girlfriend says that in Russian, there's a lot of ways to say the same thing.
To me it's annoying since I'm learning it.
