Why is that?

because it failed, critically and commercially

...

Spiderman is a mild dump.
BvS is a stinky pile of diarrhea that makes your asshole sting.

apart from its political pandering, it was actually ok in relation to a marvel movie. that is probably why no one cares about it.

Spiderman came out?

Do you think her and Bella still talk?

muh frunds cull me mj *le cheaky wank*

OH MARVEL AVENGERStm I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

It is what God intends

crisp. clean. sound.

Zendaya looks like a solid 7 in some pictures and then in others she looks like a 2. I don't know if it's because I have a thing for skinny frumpy chicks but I would highly considering smashing regardless...

The movie? I didn't see it...I don't think anyone I know did. That's probably the problem, people are tired of Spiderman even though the twink kid looks like a good version of it.

The NOLAN rule-
No one likes a nigger

Prob had to do casting couch shit. Look at Bella

here's why

>BvS is still being discussed weekly
Making a "Capekino thread" and replying to yourself while everyone else laughs at you is not discussion

Because Marvel films now are equivalent to cat videos or whatever shit is posted on Facebook - you watch it, are entertained and then put it out of your mind. It's meaningless entertainment that doesn't say anything about the human condition.

That's not to say that BvS accomplishes this but by aspiring to be more it left behind an mess of ideas with potential that autists are now analyzing to death like vultures scraping what little meat there is on the carcass. Anything that is even a little bit of a mess attracts certain people to analyze it because then they can claim to be superior to those who simply admit it's a mess. How long do you think Sup Forums will be talking about Twin Peaks?

Spider-man was an adequate movie, it is therefore it's boring to talk about it.
BvS was a trainwreck, schadenfreude means we love to hate it.

*is still being ridiculed weekly

fixed

disney's marketing is all about setting up the next and future movies

DCEU marketing is all about desperately attempting to realign public opinion of the last movie.

>Spider Man is now projected to pass BvS with a fraction of the budget
Kek

BvS crossed the fedora threshold.

Spiderman was unremarkable in just about every way.

Because you keep shilling DC threads Pajeet.

Ok but then why are there no Spiderman threads then?

Because no on liked BvS so Sup Forums talks about because muh contrarianism. Spiderman was a critical and commercial success so the once again only the contrarians post threads once in a while saying it sucked and bombed

>ppl talk about failed films constantly
>wow, look at how much people are still talking about that obscure shit that came out years ago because it failed

no. people are still talking about bvs because it's controversial where patricians consider it to be a masterpiece while the millions of sheep consider it to be a failure.

>BvS
>Obscure
Just because it was a big disappointment doesn't mean it didn't make a lot of money

Bella's one bad relationship away from shoving champagne bottles up her ass in one of the greatest dogfart porns ever, so I doubt that they still talk.

if you're going to say something fails critically and commercially as this user said here then that means that it's an obscure film which BvS is not.

People are already rushing to not talk about Twin Peaks. I'm one of them.

I never said it failed like he did. It didn't do well critically and was a disappointment financially though. That's a fact.

This.

The power of Zack's K I N O is ultimate.
When he makes something, it stands the test of time and will forever be discussed upon like a painting.

but it made less money than civil war and wonder woman

I still dont get what she had against the Lincoln memorial, is she just retarded and flunked history?

because spider-man was the latest mediocre installment in the mediocre cinematic universe while batman v superman was panned by critics which has still got the snyder internet defense force riled up.

>Anything that is even a little bit of a mess attracts certain people to analyze it because then they can claim to be superior to those who simply admit it's a mess.

This explains Prometheus.

Money doesn't equate greatness.
Transformers makes money but those are unbearable to watch.

Dredd didn't make shit, yet it's one of the best comic book movies ever.

Total garbage movies are remembered more than an above average movie.

People still talk about Batman and Robin, The Room, Catwoman, Etc

BvS, Suicide Squad , and MOS are remembered the same way.

Hard to forget trash of their magnitude.

...

I could spend 10 hours talking about how fucked the Alien franchise is and I wouldn't even get to Prometheus. It's genuinely amazing how they've managed to consistently fuck up such a simple thing over, and over, and over again. I'm honestly amazed they didn't try to make another AVP as a new "cinematic universe" yet.

Consensus on mediocrity is uncontroversial

While divisive turboautism fan fiction theory crafting makes for some consistent shit posting.

At this point some BvS fans have their own headcanon for what fucking happens so that they can rationalize it not being shit.

Baiting people over a decent movie as bad doesn't work as well as baiting people over a shit movie as the second-coming.

Because Batman v. Superman was bad enough to remember. Spider-man is just an alright movie people would like, then move on.

Because since the year 2000 spider man has been in over 9k movies and nobody gives a fuck about his bullshit mutant boy early ejaculating bullshit non-super shit.

While Superman has been in three movies, one of which was still a batman movie.

Superman is the greatest of all heroes, the original Super Hero, the most misunderstood, and least represented relative to thier historical/philosophical significance.

Meanwhile 44 more Spiderman and Batman movies were released while you read this post.

>black mj
Makisha janiqua?

Because one was a legendary trainwreck while the other was a serviceable but ultimately unremarkable summer film.

I love talking with people who honestly love Prometheus and Covenant. They will bend over backwards trying to explain away character inconsistencies and bullshit plot conveniences.

>Meanwhile 44 more Spiderman and Batman movies were released while you read this post.

spiderman had no plot. just peter shooting himself in the foot over and over again. the fucking suit was more of a villian than vulture.

Because BvS has just enough depth for a pleb to convince themselves it's kino. Whereas Homecoming being a pretty decent superhero flick is an unobjectionable statement that you're never going to get a discussion out of.

>mfw homecoming is projected to make over $100m in china and will overtake wonder woman without breaking a sweat

>Lincoln Memorial

American education.

More interesting than what Webb was trying to do.
yeah, the suit was too techy and Tony showing up every so often made the pace slow down cause you'e always wondering where the other heroes are and when they'll save everyone.

But I enjoyed the small scale stuff. Makes Spider-Man a more enduring character. he was always a hero of the people.
Superhero movies have to learn constrain and scale. When they're smaller, that allows them to feel more personable. That's what Raimi did right with his first two films and what Homecoming did right. Makes me think of other movies like TMNT '90 or the first X-Men.

Or you could just watch a bunch of dbag heros punch each other in an airport.

It's going to overtake BvS too if it does as well as it's projected to

>he judges the quality of movies by how much they make
W E W

E

W

Because BvS was polarizing and memeworthy in a few different ways whereas Homecoming was simply generally liked by most people (not much controversy or anything).

This. How many threads do we see about Nightcrawler or Whiplash daily? Zero? Wow must be shitty awful movies.

I don't even see daily discussion on Wonder Woman outside of "boy that Ares fight sucked" and "look at how much money it made!" Post release, the most discussion it generates is from the tweet shit with James Cameron. Even though it's the most critically and financially successful DCEU movie to date.

She was so much cuter 4 years ago what happened?

Because Snyder and DC have substance

Marvel and Disney are soulless hacks

Name a single memorable scene/score/set piece from a single modern Marvel film that is remembered by the general populous

There's barley fucking any and none of substance

Here's a scene from Guardians of The Galaxy that's pretty great
youtube.com/watch?v=bseO_laCoXg

because movies with sky high expectations that fall flat on their face are more fun to talk about than movies that do well at the box office and with the critics

marvelpajeets are too brainlet to discuss anything meanwhile DChads keeps it fresh and intellectual.

KINO

kek

>Whiplash

A wild r/movies user appears.

another gay superhero movie. they're all the same.

>Unironically posting that picture with that filename
Do you actually expect anyone to take you seriously?

Here's your reply

Like Sup Forums or Sup Forums - Sup Forums only talks about two kinds of things: things that were fucking terrible or things that were fucking amazing.

Things that were just okay fall by the wayside of irrelevance.

Good job getting one (((girl power))) kino out of this disaster of a franchise

>1 month later and no one talks about Spiderman anymore

No one ever talks about these movies a month after. They are good but never resonant. BvS does cause it was so bad.

>Name a single memorable scene/score/set piece from a single modern Marvel film that is remembered by the general populous
You could say the same about the DCEU, the only exception is the MARTHA scene that everyone makes fun of.

>Was cheaper to make than either of the two Garfield movies
>made more money than either of the Garfield movies
>92% on le pourri tomate
>325 million domestic BO
>750 million global BO and will pass Wonder Woman once the Chinese throw their usual 90+ million at it

Think Sony and Marvel are pretty satisfied with it regardless of what Sup Forums thinks given that it's easily the best a Spidey movie's done in a decade, especially compared to the rain of shit Sony's had since Homecoming debuted

Sup Forums only talks about things that are interesting like Rick and Morty and Sneed

>1 month later and no one talks about Spiderman anymore
>Is actually talking about Spiderman one month later
>lolwut?

Yus trolling

The same reason more people talk about The Room or Double Down than Oblivion (the movie, not the game).

>than Oblivion
Bullshit. People talk about that film all the time.

Great movie. MCU turds will never be as audiovisually powerful as Oblivion.

Marvel is for actual discussion something this board can't do. BvS is just for shitpost

And SHE'S so much hotter now, fucking weird, right?

Marvel makes kids movies even more childish than 90's Disney cartoons.
