as long as he kills those who would oppose us (i.e. liberals), he would never get caught by Sup Forums.

maybe reddit would be moral fags and try to find him

Profiling the murderer wouldn't take long.

Sup Forums would post names for Kira but give the credit to a cartoon frog and dubbs

the kira known as Sup Forums

>gets the power of a god which allows him to anonymously kill anyone on earth in any way he wants while having 100% (!!!) security of not being caught
>even if they found his book, they still need to prove that the book did it and they can't do that without killing someone
>they still need to prove that he was the one writing the names (maybe he just found the book?)
>plus he has the best cover of all: nobody would fucking believe in something supernatural

.......
a few days later
>almost gets caught
>decides to fight L because of his huge ego instead of just hiding somewhere
>gets beaten by LITERAL autists

Yeah great fucking genius. Nobody could fuck up that bad. Even a fucking 6 year old kid wouldn't have been caught. Light is a faggot.

God I hate those do-gooder types that see only in black and white..

what the fuck is this thread

Pretty much this, desu

Shit

Who's "us"? Got a turd in your pocket?

Sup Forums wouldn't track Kira. He's /ourguy/.

us as in Sup Forums.

despite what redditors would tell you, we have pretty consistent beliefs

k i l l y o u r s e l f

Since I know he's in Japan, I'd just finish what Truman started.

He had to prove he was superior and he almost won. Bad company cost him the war. And, to be fair, L figured out who Kira was in like a week. Just couldn't prove it.

Sup Forums would track down L though

Sup Forums would worship Kira as a God

Bad writing cost him the war.
Near was fucking garbage.

the concept only works with a supergenius detective, otherwise he would never get caught. Its suppose to imply that L is incredibly good at his job.

>can't do that without killing someone
You just write Light's name. If he's innocent, nothing happens.

>Since I know he's in Japan
You wouldn't know that in the beginning. Pretend you're starting this case from scratch. Criminals start dying left and right. Only thing tying it all together is the name left at the crime scene: Kira. Where would you go from there?

Since Kira is Japan that would be 2ch's field.
Sup Forums would be disappointed because most victims would be asians and not kikes.

As soon as magic killing diaries that easily threaten the most powerful people in the world enter the equation, due process would go right the fuck out the window. Even if they were only kinda sure Light Yagami was doing it and they had no idea how he was doing it, there would still be like 50 CIA assassins after him.

Nahhh son

As soon as Nier was introduced the show took a nosedive. just asspulling a new super autist that beats him in like 5 episodes.

FPBP per yoush

look at where we've come since the election. aside from the entry level boards like Sup Forums and Sup Forums we're pretty fucking conservative lol

fucking die

they explicitly stated he only won because of L's previous effort and the other twink dying or whatever, either way how were they gonna end the show without it being contrived after L dies, no one is gonna be able to challenge him without it looking retarded

>we

Underrated

>name at the crime scene

Wtf are you talking about?

go back to the donald if you want a hivemind you little cuck

Would he have gotten away with it if he didn't have an alias?

What if he simply ignored fame and did killings without leaving a signature?

This website found a flag sitting in a random field in Tennessee in less than 24 hours. It would take a week at most.

Without Misa, he never beats L. Not sure if L catches Light though.

the donald is full of people who came from Sup Forums and Sup Forums. at least that's what I've heard

Pasted from another Death Note thread. An actual plausible, non-fartetched way that someone who's not a complete retard could ever be caught:

>search for possible victims online from your home
>detectives consider the possibility the killer may be doing this
>subpoena the most popular search engines for IPs of searches for victims names BEFORE their deaths. Your IP will keep coming up again and again
>simultaneous and coordinated raids on you and anymone unfortunate enough to somehow have the same search patterns. But only you will be found with a Death Note

there is definitely a ton of overlap at the very least

Let's say Light simply ignores L. He makes his killings look coincidental and only does two kills a week.

Nier is such a turbo autistic twink faggot.

Ruined the entire series. They just HAD to make him L but even younger and even smarter and EVEN more eccentric

His father figuring it out after Light going slowly more unhinged to the point of him slipping up at a critical moment and putting him down would have been an infinitely better ending.
Especially rather than "We literally copied the entire death note, perfectly with multiple types of handwriting, by hand, in like 4 hours lol gg m8".

i don't watch anime because i am not a faggot, how do they catch him in the original story?

his ego would still have forced him to kill that actor L hired thus confirming his initial location

I honestly don't remember the ending at all or much of the show at this point but I remember that it felt like a copout but at least we got some nice memes out of it

If Light found out he'd kill whoever owned Sup Forums at the time (Moot or Hiroshima) to send a message or cause chaos amongst the anons.

And let's say he simply ignored the bluffs?

Do people like you just skim the part where Near says that L was a better detective, and that the only reason he was able to catch Light was because of Mello and L's help?

Or do you just enjoy sperging about a fictional character?

One of his lackeys he gets to do some killing for him fucks up and makes himself way too predictable I think.

Light had a prisoner write Kira in blood on a wall once to send a message to L or something.

Everyone else is anonymous though. If anything that's further motivation to solve the mystery.

They literally broadcasted fake news channel across the world to see if Kira would take the bait in killing the actor that vowed to catch Kira

And when presidents are dying because of random heart attacks. The CIA know that it's a magic diary and where to find it how exactly?

Neck yourself

I just rewatched it after years and forgetting most of it.
The last 4-5 episodes were just a straight robbery. They were very rushed, but light's freakout in the end with ryuk's monologue helped it become bearable.

Another autist replaces the autist who got himself killed because he was ronery. The second autist doesn't have that weakness (he uses toys to fill the void) and basically goes full bore with weaponized autism to take Light down.

When you can just go on and on killing with no traceable way after you but your ego makes you try to kill a detective who has no way of finding you if you ignore him. Wouldn't you have the satisfaction of just driving a turbo autist insane trying to find practically untraceable heart attacks? Fuck just make a few of the deaths write Hey L in blood miles apart to fuck with him.

They wouldn't know it's a magic diary, but if they knew that someone was behind it and it wasn't just some act of god and they could narrow down who that person might be they probably wouldn't risk getting rid of that threat to a legal trail.

Someone at Sup Forums would have to have a good record on crime rates and murders in Japan, and I guess it would also require someone at 2chan who was watching Light's first murder at the time. I'm not sure if it'd be easier to track Kira down though, because Light lost due to his insistence in going after L so much that he became a prime suspect.

>They literally broadcasted fake news channel across the world
Only in Japan. One region at a time. That's how L pinpointed the general vicinity and Light's connections made him a prime suspect.

>don't create an alias
>ignore bluffs
>search criminals in onion
>make killings look accidental or have someone else kill them
Bam. Nobody can catch you.

That would be missing the point of Light's ultimate goal, though. He clearly wanted the world to see that there's some supernatural force punishing the wicked. If it looked coincidental, no progress would be made.

The doesn't change the fact that he was more of a deus ex machina than a character.

No, he said around the world. Not only Japan.

Not your personal army faggot. Fuck you and your echo chamber.

He was going to do it around the world, but he did japan first because that was his first guess.

>full bore

HAAHAHAAHAHA

> L places Tailor as a decoy on television. The network states that the broadcast is worldwide and that Tailor's statements (made in English) are being translated into Japanese by Yoshio Anderson. After Tailor states that he is L, he states that Kira is evil. Light, in a rage, writes down Tailor's name, killing him with a heart attack. The broadcast of Tailor is suddenly cut, and L's signature letter 'L' appears. Using a voice synthesizer, the real L announces that Lind L. Tailor was a decoy and a criminal on death row. He explains that Tailor's information was never made available to the public, so there was no way Kira could have killed him until now. L boldly challenges Kira to try to kill him. After several seconds, L learns that Kira needs the person's real name and face to kill the victim, otherwise Kira would have already killed him. L announces that the video was aired only in the Kanto region of Japan as a ploy to determine the location of Kira. L, originally planning to air the video in other areas in Japan at different times, states that it's no longer necessary to continue broadcasting Tailor's footage.

L was just that good. But he lost in the end because Light had the natural advantage of knowing the rules of the game better since he possessed the death note in the first place. It's like L was playing down a rook.

The spirit of Sup Forums is to go against this kind of hivemind shit.

correct, they did the kanto region first and he got baited instantly

Track him down? Let's be honest, Sup Forums would support Kira.

>get death note
>write elaborate stories about how old rich people adamantly change their wills to give me money for no reason
How safe is this

>>don't create an alias
The masses in Japan gave it to him.

nah it is gonna be just like in the manga/ anime, 50/50
people on this fucking website argue about less important shit, 100% they gonna split about what Light does

This was his first mistake.
He should have kept killing criminals

Didn't he make his victims write Kira on the walls before the died? Exactly how did society know these killings were due to a single person?

>"us"

i thought there is a rule about there are time limit to write down a name and how that person gonna die?

>this fucking newfag trying to fit in
You boys smell that?

Light's undoing was his own arrogance. Plain and simple.

i mean, the nigga was a bored teenager who get to play god. i think that was an appropriate reaction, he probably got spooked a bit as well

>ignoring the 2016 reddit migration of trump fucks
there was always a conservative element, but redditors fucked this place hard. People weren't so fragile before reddit immigrants. They aren't sending their best.

>write in death note that the old rich guy meets you
>dies of natural causes during sleep 20 days later
>writes in his will that he leaves his will to a wonderful young boy that has a pure heart and will help the poor

There have been a couple actual murderers on here (there was a post around ten years ago of coordinates in the middle of nowhere and it turned out to be where a body was buried if I remember correctly) in the past but this place is more about exaggeration and banter. The majority of posters are chiefly concerned with just their specific interests, and most would probably just lurk the threads for fear of FBI surveillance

wait, there are republicucks on Sup Forums?

No, that was the movie. People online notice how all these deaths of bad people keep happening, and think somebody is watching over them, so the fansites give him the handle "Kira". Light initially doesn't even like the name because he thinks it's cliche.

>us as in Sup Forums.
low tier bait mr reddit

That was due to the bluff. If he had ignored it then nobody would suspect it was a person.

people noticing a pattern and think that was some high power shit, and then L pull that stun on live tv and that pretty much confirmed it

It wouldn't work. The note specifically says it can't make people do things that are impossible or inconceivable for them to do, and under those circumstances they'll just die of a simple heart attack.
Light tried to make a guy travel from his jail cell to the Eiffel Tower, and he just died because it was physically impossible. He tried to make another guy "draw L's face", but since he didn't know L or what he looked like he just died of a heart attack. It's generally implied that it has to be something that that person could potentially realistically do (For example there is a rule saying that anybody can be written to die of suicide, because all human beings have the capacity to wish to end their own life)

If you don't already know the rich person, they wouldn't be able to leave you their money.

Sup Forums here. Could you, please, kill yourself, you T_D piece of shit.

I'm concerned with keikaku, Wheel of Time, and Star Trek. What are your specific concerns?

Wasn't it because these killings were specifically in Japan? Anyways, if he had made his victims have an "accidental" death or have someone murder them around the world then nobody would suspect it's the work of an individual.

What is Tor?

That happened AFTER he got the monicker. There were a shitton of reports of high profile criminals suddenly all dying every day of heart attacks, the public noticed and started attributing it to a person/deity and gave it the name Kira. Light specifically comments that he found the whole name a bit tacky, but said it'll do. The writing on the walls happened some time after when he was experimenting with controlling people's actions.
