Someone I know went to an audition for a pretty famous movie I won't name. There was a sofa in the room, and she kept eyeing it. Director told her not to "worry about him." She asked what he means by "him," and the director said the couch is just there to evaluate her. Then he leaned over to the couch as if he was being whispered to, nodded a few times, and laughed.
