Rebirth Lines

There's was interesting discussion in this thread about which DC Rebirth line is the best and I decided to make a thread about it.

>Trinity line
Trinity
RHATO
New Super-Man
SuperSons

>Superman line
Superman
Action Comics
Supergirl
Superwoman

>Batman line
Batman
Detective Comics
Nightwing
Batgirl
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey
Batman Beyond
Harley Qunin

>Green Lantern line
Green Lanterns
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps

>Titans line
Titans
Teen Titans
Deathstroke

So, which rebirth line do you think is the strongest and which line is the weakest?

>Teen Titans
Damian stuff.

>which rebirth line do you think is the strongest?
Trinity because I'm enjoying all the three books and Super Sons has potential

>and which line is the weakest?
Definitely Batman because it's the most disappointing.

Each line has its stinkers and its stand-outs.

Nightwing, Batman, and ASBat are worth picking up.

New Super-Man is good

Superman and Superwoman are both worth the read.

Deathstroke is DC's best superhero title.

>SuperSons
How much did Damifag shit up storytime?

>How much did Damifag shit up storytime?
The Real Reasons Why Superman Is Gay,

>Nightwing, Batman, and ASBat are worth picking up.

Aquaman and Green Lanterns have been my favorite. I'd say the Superman line has been the best.

I'd be way more into Super-Sons if they'd managed to include a Wonder Woman daughter. As it is... ehhn.
(Though that one user's concept of having Superman with a daughter and Wonder Woman with a son instead would've been good.)

So bad they storytimes it again. No he's teamed up with the Superbrofags.

Superman Suck Apetube Free Porn Superman Suck Prosecni Penis .

>Superwoman
Had the misfortune of lying to its audience. It isn't clever if you Kill your main character and replace them with Lana, it just feels really lazy. I was expecting a comfy mini-series about how Lois deals with getting powers. Maybe something that plays on the tropes of typical superheroes or at least shows how a regular person like Lois would react to suddenly gaining superpowers. Instead we got LanaxSteel fighting notcadmus and their army of shapeshifting Bizarros. It just doesn't feel needed

>I'd be way more into Super-Sons if they'd managed to include a Wonder Woman daughter.
Good luck with that. Diana will never be a mom. Damian and Jon are different enough that I think they don't need a third wheel but I hope Nobody keeps showing up.

Theories of Superman being gay are certainly not a new phenomenon.

The Trinity line is the only one I'm really digging, to be honest. Green Lanterns and HJatGLC are both pretty weak, though I do enjoy Lanterns, and outside of Deathstroke the Titans line just feels like nostalgiafagging for something I never cared about. Batman is shit all the way through.

Kill yourself.

But theories of you and Damifag sucking cock are widely accepted fact.

>Deathstroke is DC's best superhero title
Why? I see a lot of anons here say it's best, but they never give me reasons about why "it's the best".

I personally think it's extremely overrated. It's good, but it's not head and shoulders above the others.

>RHATO
fuck you Sup Forums now i cant stop thinking about Ted Cruz as a batman villain

Is 'Batman v Superman' Really Just Lex Luthor's Gay Fan Fiction ...

I agree with you user, if they had kept with Lois I would have continued reading it. Lana is just... meh.

Batman line but none are great.

>How much did you shit up storytime?

BIZARRO AM IN WORST BOOK

I agree with everything you said. I was interested in Superwoman because of Lois, but the way they killed her off and replaced her with Lana killed any interest I have in this book.

>Nightwing

What thess dudes said.

Plus Aquaman because I'm enjoying it a lot too.

Aquaman isn't part of a "line", though, unless you count "unaffiliated Leaguers" as one. It needs to have at least two related books to be a line.
It's good, though.

I see a lot of people on Sup Forums say that Batman is underwhelming, but I've been loving it. I really think the only reason is because I stopped reading everything Batman after Batman Inc. and only started again with Damian's book.

I have to unfortunately agree with you, user.

I was really looking forward to Batman and ASB and I hoped that rebirth will make me care about Nightwing, but I was let down.

>Why? I see a lot of anons here say it's best, but they never give me reasons about why "it's the best"
It's a meme. Deathstroke is good, but I wouldn't dare to call it the best DC rebirth book because it has its fair share of problems.

I think it's because a lot of them are disaffected former Batfans who hoped that "Based King" would make them care about him again.

So, is Nobody going join super sons and form a trinity with them?

Like constant repeating panels for one. It's worse than Champions

Nice memeposting, fagget.

Will Wondie adopt her?

Speaking of "lines" you mentioned... 'member when New 52 had whole GL line? Now both books are dumped in same JL group with Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg.
Red Hood still isn't part of Batbooks, top kek.

Considering how boring the Batman line currently is. Red Hood is freaking lucky to not be part of it.

Red Hood have it all. It's part of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Trinity lines.

Do you need more narration boxes to fill you in?

>No Gotham Academy in bat line

It's not part of Rebirth, user.

>someone does not like a book and think it's the best
>IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE NARRATION BOXES AND YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT LELEL

>GL goes from 4-6 books monthly to 2
>they have to split six main characters between two books because there isn't room for them elsewhere

someday GL will be great again

Then why don't you provide a reason yourself?

>unaffiliated Leaguers
>Flash
>Cyborg
>Aquaman

Definitely Superman.

>RHATO is actually decent
I don't understand, how is Lobdell not fucking this up?

Johns probably gave it to him straight and told him to lay off the retarded shit

Having a different editor seems to be helping too.

>doing an unexpected twist in a story
>in a medium where covers tend to not show what exactly is going on
>"they lied to us!"
It's like you're new to comics or something.

I just hope it continues

It actually happened before where they lied about the lead character?

Metal Gear Solid 2.

But that's not a comic..

Can I read the best parts of New52 Superman and not get fucked over by continuity?

I've heard that the best parts are

>Morrison Action Comics
>Greg Pak Action Comics
>Scott Snyder Superman Unchained
>Geoff Johns Superman Men of tomorrow

So can I read these and still get the story in a satisfactory manner?

what kind of tismo answer is this

it's not really fair to have SuperSons up there when the book hasn't even come out yet. Damian and Jon only just met in the most recent Superman issue.

that said, I think the Superman line has made the biggest comeback in Rebirth. the Batman line was always solid beforehand, but the Superman line got a much needed boost of energy into it.

is surprisingly not bad

There are other good books but none that are trying anything challenging like experimenting with art and story structure. Priest is using non-linear dueling narratives to tease out Deathstroke's new post-Rebirth history as we explore the mystery of who's pulling Slade's strings. Few mainstream comic book writers ever try anything experimental. Priest is doing it and doing it well.

That's why I say Deathstroke is the best DC cape book on the stands.

noice

I can see it.

Titans line is by far the worst.

Titans is a bland, retread story with awful art. 2/10, only exists to give Wally something to do before the next big Rebirth thing.

Teen Titans is a double retread. We get de-aged retreaded NTT with Starfire/Raven/Beast Boy and another goddamn "Damian's a little shit but people learn to get along with him" garbage. There's only so many times you can spin those wheels for Damian and I'm well passed my threshold for it.

Deathstroke is really good, but 1 good and 2 absolutely abysmal brings the average way down.
