>kino
unironically yes
Great cinematography and soundtrack.
It's an achievement in style and anesthetics.
The story is not that great but it's a horror so it doesn't matter.

>hear how great it is
>blind buy it
>hated it
>turned it off twice
>had an itch to watch it a year later
>so fucking good
>watched it again the next night
literally in my top ten horror flicks now, great film

>Almost October

Please tell me you're not referring to the remake

Please tell me they cancelled it

Remake is currently in post-production

>anesthetics

I'm going to see the 4K remaster of this tonight.

I haven't seen it in such a long time. I hope I still like it.

...

That first kill with the knife entering the frame sideways, laffed hard.

Plot is shit and non existent. The character sucks.

I know it's a shallow thing to say about such a good movie but god damn Jessica Harper is cute as fuck

Eh, it's pretty goofy. It should more more compared with a Jodorowky or Lynch film (embracing ridiculousness in a very campy way and impossible to take seriously) just in aesthetics rather than content than anything else. I don't like kooky stuff so much, so it wasn't for me.

Unironically Ballet kino

only teenage girls like Argento movies

Of course it was. Deep Red comes pretty close

>plot
>character
This is an 18 and up board.

>mfw already watched sleepaway camp 1-3 because I couldn't wait for October

I always start early too.

I couldn't finish it. The loud noises were too much.

Inferno>Suspiria>MoT

yes. for some reason italian horror seems to have been especially divisive for the last few years.

I hope it gets a screening in my area, the original 4.0 surround sound has me intrigued to go see it in the theater.

Mein friend. I started September with Sleepaway camp to kick things off. I've been watching a movie a day and plan to continue that until Halloween. The Sleepaway Camp series is a good one to get you in the mood.

People keep thinking they should be watching Italian horror for the plot and not the weird visuals, music and bizarre endings

>no technicolor
>no goblin soundtrack
>rated PG-13
>staring Chloe

Get ready for the remake

Suspiria is better film, but Inferno has a very good Keith Emerson's soundtrack.

I wasnt expecting for this to be as good as it was, the lightnin, the sets are so theatrelike and fucked up and the creepy music just add up to the charm

I was really creeped out when watching this

The commentary track by Kim Newman and Alan Jones is the comfiest thing ever

Who's the Suzy Bannion of the remake?

You're right, and that's fucking infuriating. Why would anyone do this to themselves and purposefully hamper their enjoyment of a giallo/italian horror movie is beyond me.

>mfw it's not a joke

>theater in my town is playing it on Halloween

No, Dakota Johnson is the main character. Chloƫ will die at the beginning of the movie.

>imdb.com/title/tt1034415/
>chloe moretz

>dakota johnson

Christ, she's dogshit.

literally in my top ten, this is a giallo masterpiece.
Anyway, could I possibly get a list of giallo movies where this guy is? I know about Blood and blacklace, Black belly of the tarantula and the ending of Amer. Any more?

I thought it was boring but i agree that the music and cinematography were kino/10.
