32 pages, $3.99.

How is them being literally whos a bad thing? People are constantly complaining about how Marvel needs to get some new blood in and not have every book just be written by Bendis. Here ya' go. New writers, new artists. They might be good, they might be bad, they might follow the proud cape tradition of just being inoffensive and mediocre, but just assuming they're bad because they're not a big name is the exact mentality that got us into this mess where Bendis is writing like 7 fucking books at once.

>Even if I remember having read Brisson books but not what they were about
Only one I can remember is the one where the kids take over a compound. It was a stupid concept but not poorly written

>and an X-Man changes sides!!
Storm finally shows her true colors.

At large

32 pages, $3.99.

Bleeding Cool is correct regarding the interior artists for the second half of IvX

Because Owens writes for Luke Cage and AoS. There's new blood, and shit blood

DD has the privilege of being only above average ongoing in current Marvel lineup. Because of how cool art is.

Things aren't looking good for Marvel, but right now Daredevil is only book I stuck with and I am going to follow this Daredevil micro-verse. At least so far Kingpin is set to be decent.

Also, I don't see how giving to literally whos a book is a bad thing. Frank Miller himself was a literally who before he hit big with Daredevil.

>·...and an X-Man changes sides!!
Is it Beast? I bet it's Beast.

user, I think you posted the wrong cover.

·If he succeeds, he could end the war between Inhumans and X-Men in a single stroke -- but where's the fun in that?

32 pages, $3.99.

>DD has the privilege of being only above average ongoing in current Marvel lineup
It's not even one of the top 20 books of the current Marvel lineup.

DEADPOOL & THE MERCS FOR MONEY #8

32 pages, $3.99.

Welp, I guess this confirms that Storm is the turncoat.

UNCANNY X-MEN #18

Cullen Bunn (W), Edgar Salazar (A), Ken Lashley (C), Juan Doe (VC).

·An Inhumans vs. X-Men tie-in!

·Occupy New Attilan!

·With the mutant invasion of the Inhuman capital city now complete, Magneto seeks to lock it down by deploying his newly-acquired army of mutant sleepers.

·But will he take his mission a step too far?

32 pages, $3.99.

Only two books that I didn't drop like a hot potato are Daredevil and New Avengers. What are other 19?

>those Nightcrawler earrings on right ear
>Goldballs
Unless Inhumans have some black woman with white mohawk.

Ah, so Young Scott finding out that Old Scott didn't do shit and he's just getting blamed for Emma's descent into madness.

AVENGERS #4.1

Mark Waid (W), Barry Kitson (A/C), Mike Allred (VC), John Tyler Christopher (VC).

·The old order crumbles as Captain America finds himself unable to keep "The Mighty Pretenders" together as a team. But he has one ace up his sleeve -- one you've never seen before!

32 pages, $3.99.

>> Prude "all straight men hate women" outfit...
>> Awful interior artist after her last series had the incredible Mike Del Mundo...
>> Land...
Die in fire Marvel, Die in fire...

>>> Prude "all straight men hate women" outfit...
But it's just like on hit Netflix TV series, user.

AVENGERS #4

Mark Waid (W), Mike Del Mundo (A), Alex Ross (C), Joe Jusko (VC)

·"Kang War IV" begins! The Avengers turn the tables on one of their oldest foes by adopting one of his tactics, leaving Kang nowhere to run and nowhere to hide -- except in the timestream itself!

32 pages, $3.99.

I imagine SD/DP and Carnage are on that list. Occupy and RNW weren't bad, but they're too new to count. Chulk and Uncanny X-Men have been good as well. And I like Gwenpool

UNCANNY AVENGERS #20

Gerry Duggan (W), Pepe Larraz (A), Adam Kubert (C), Joe Jusko (VC)

·After being hounded for months, the Red Skull's counterattack against the Unity Squad is almost a total success. The former Unity Squad members are tortured by their own worst fears and past failures.

>Pepe Larraz
Thank god, fuck Ryan Stegman.

Attaboy, give Spidey the most space. We want those Spiderbux.

GREAT LAKES AVENGERS #5

Zac Gorman (W), Will Robson (A/C).

·With Councilman Snerd playing an extended gig at Club Coma-Cabana, the Great Lakes Avengers are back in business! But when Good Boy's brother shows up, she's forced to make the hardest choice of her life.

·Meanwhile, Big Bertha gets back to work, modeling for both the "before and after" of a snake oil salesman's miracle weight loss supplement...only he might be after more than just photos!

32 pages, $3.99.

I skipped Uncanny because of >Greg Land
Still, I don't see how Daredevil is any worse than them and quite frankly, I prefer it to others.

>> Whor
Cool
>> Hercules
Cool-ish
>> Russia Wasp
Cool
>> Vision
Cool
>> Mark Waid
Fuck you Marvel
>> Spider-Man
Fuck you Marvel
>> Falconap
FUCK YOU MARVEL!
>> Mike Del Mundo!
GOD BLESS YOU MARVEL!

So conflicted right now...

I really couldn't get into DD under Soule. Although I imagine a lot of that was because Waid's run was still pissing me off.

The Land issues of Uncanny haven't been too bad. At times it looks like he's actually drawing instead of tracing. Lashley's issues are better anyway.

> Running from her tumultuous past
> goes to Las Vegas

CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS #11

Nick Spencer (W), Jesus Saiz (A), Paul Renaud (C), Joe Jusko (VC).

·In the wake of Maria Hill's court-martial, who will become the new head of S.H.I.E.L.D.? The answer will electrify you!

32 pages, $3.99.

>Jusko variant month

In no particular order:
>Ultimates
>Deadpool
>Spider-man/Deadpool
>Uncanny Avengers
>Gwenpool
>Carnage
>Captain America: Steve Rogers
>Totally Awesome Hulk
>Old Man Logan
>Moon Knight
>Ms. Marvel
>ASM: Renew Your Vows
>Cage!
>Unworthy Thor
>Foolkiller
>Mosaic
>Avengers
Are all better than the horribly mediocre Daredevil ongoing. Admittedly, 20 was a slight exaggeration exaggeration

>Greg Land
so will the monsters have porn face too?

>Chip Zdarsky (
A meme book?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS #12

Nick Spencer (W), Javier Pina (A), Paul Renaud (C).

·Zemo is back -- and can the new Masters of Evil be far behind?

32 pages, $3.99.

>that double-shipping

That blue on the costume looks really out of place and ugly.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: SAM WILSON #19

Nick Spencer (W), Daniel Acuna (A/C)

·"The End of the Line" continues as Cap's problems intensify -- and a city burns!

32 pages, $3.99.

Did you read the first issue? It was pretty good. Significantly better than that that Champions train wreck.

>·But what does all of this have to do with a little boy from New York City...and how does he tie into the INHUMANS' ancient history?

another Inhuman that triggers an event...yay.

CHAMPIONS #5

Mark Waid (W), Humberto Ramos (A/C), Joe Quinones (VC), Joe Jusko (VC)

·Oh, great! Just when the Champions had a nice little movement going on, here comes Gwenpool to ruin - I mean, "improve" - it all, with her patented brand of consequence-less violence and disregard for human life!

32 pages, $3.99.

What's SJWaid writing Gwenpool looks like to you?

Fuck you Marvel for wasting Acuna on this.
Burn the fuck in the darkest depths of hell for almost certainly making blacks seem like the good guys while burning said town to the ground.

MIGHTY THOR #16

Jason Aaron (W), Russell Dauterman (A/C), Joe Jusko (VC)

·The "Asgard/Shi'ar War" heats up!

·Not all gods are equal, and to prove that they're the mightiest, the Shi'ar gods infiltrated Asgard and kidnapped Thor and forced her to be a contestant in their Challenge of the Gods.

·The prize? They won't kill the people of Midgard.

32 pages, $3.99.

>What's SJWaid writing Gwenpool looks like to you?
He's going to do what that Rocket and Groot writer did and have her talk about how violence against women in fiction is misogyny.

>that last spoiler
Wait, what's happening, user?

Have I seen that Carol Danvers pose before?

>Champions
>Gwenpool
>Ramos

cancer^3

I'm digging these covers.

THE UNWORTHY THOR #4 (OF 5)

Jason Aaron (W), Olivier Coipel (A/C), Marguerite Sauvage (VC), Phil Noto (VC).

·The Odinson's quest is impeded when Proxima Midnight and the Black Swan seek to battle with him!

·But are the two acting alone or is there someone else pulling their strings?

·The debut of the Odinson's all-new look!

32 pages, $3.99.

The Hickwaifus are back

>Waidvengers
>Spencer Cap
>Mosaic
Although, maybe I started dropping books too early.

It was a meme when Aaron was on it.

NO. DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH HER WAID.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~

>CHAMPIONS #1.MU
>a relaunched book's first issue is also a tie-in to an event
Brava, Marlel.

THE TOTALLY AWESOME HULK #16

Greg Pak (W), Mahmud Asrar (A), Stonehouse (C).

·"Big Apple Showdown" continues!

·Who's behind the gathering of Asian and Asian American heroes? It's not who you think!

32 pages, $3.99.

Fuck you Storm

Hi Fury.

Adjectivless Avengers, not ANAD Avengers. Not having teens on the team and doing more classic Avenging plays more to Waid's strengths than the horse-shit he's pulling in Champions and to a lesser extent his ANADAvengers.

HULK #3

Mariko Tamaki (W), Nico Leon (A), Jeff Dekal (C), Joe Jusko (VC).

·Jen's life is finally settling into a rhythm: She wakes up, goes to work, helps her new clients, goes home, watches a cooking video, and goes to sleep.

·But when a murder rocks the life of one of her newest clients, how will Jen react? Is there more to the situation than just Jen Walters, lawyer, can handle?

·Will she need the Hulk to get herself out of this jam?

32 pages, $3.99.

Didn't Amatsu-Mikaboshi kill the Shi'Ar gods?

Except the R&G writer did it as a joke and a way to lampshade Gwen being half-naked the entire issue.

Waid would play it straight.

INFAMOUS IRON MAN #5

Brian Michael Bendis (W), Alex Maleev (A/C)

·What is Doom's secret? Why, after all he has done to destroy and punish us, is he now determined to become the hero?

·Find the answer here. But can you trust anything he says or does?

·Plus: The identity of his new cosmic-level adversary is revealed! And it's a doozy.

32 pages, $3.99.

Are we memeing and pretending it's not going to be Iceman switching sides because of his gay lover Romeo?

>Proxima Midnight & Black Swan
Fuck Yes!
>·The debut of the Odinson's all-new look!
Please don't be flat black/blue like past Ultimate Thor looks, throw some red in there.

INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #4

Brian Michael Bendis (W), Stefano Caselli (A/C), Joe Jusko (VC).

·With every issue Riri discovers more about what being a hero really means in this modern complicated world.

·Her actions start to have a powerful effect across the world and the question is, is Riri ready to take on that responsibility?

·All this plus, Not only did Tony Stark leave a laundry list of things that need taking care of, he left a laundry list of criminals looking to destroy his legacy.

32 pages, $3.99.

Gawd fucking dammit, Storm. Fuck.

>Carol's butt
Thank god for Leinil Yu.

I can at least appreciate that 1. they're not interrutping the main books for an event that seems like just dumb fun and 2. they're putting new, young writers on the tie-ins
I know Whitley did all-ages comic books so far and will be on new Wasp's book. Who is Allor?

As if Soule or Lemire would bother referencing Hopeless' book

They won't even reference Bunn or Duggan's books

>inb4 he's touched by Reed's kindness when he restored his face and wants to honor him

>Whor better than FalCap
What.

I bet they're grooming him into accepting an exclusivity contract.

ULTIMATES 2 #4

Al Ewing (W), Travel Foreman (A), Christian Ward (C), Joe Jusko (VC).

·Philip Vogt knows the truth. The Ultimates have reformed -- and they're working for Galactus. That means trouble.

·It's time to send in the Troubleshooters!

·Meanwhile, on the fringes of possibility, Galactus confronts a terrifying new entity... Logos!

32 pages, $3.99.

I see the day where every single Marvel issue every month is a "#1" is getting closer and closer.

Oh Fuck No!

>every thread everywhere was HOW WILL RIRI'S HAIR FIT IN THE HELMET
>new haircut
Based Bendis, visiting CBR and Sup Forums,

THE MIGHTY CAPTAIN MARVEL #2

Margaret Stohl (W), Ramon Rosanas (A), Elizabeth Torque (VC), Joe Jusko (VC).

·For someone like Carol Danvers, being super famous isn't exactly enjoyable -- she'd rather be focused on her job as commander of Alpha Flight Space Station than worried about who's playing her on the new Captain Marvel TV show.

·So when her crew discovers that a shady character is hunting for alien refugee children, Carol jumps on the case.

32 pages, $3.99.

lol

They're one shots, do you expect them to be numbered anything other than #1?

They're just one-shots.
But they're following in the #1.NOW tradition of having meaningless decimals to act as one-shots without putting them under a different banner. Or something like that.

Spencer Cap has been decent to great since Standoff, on both books.
And Mosaic is good just for the art.

DD also used to have less bad runs than other Marvel classics, but Soule ruined that tradition ;_;

>The Odinson's quest is impeded when Proxima Midnight and the Black Swan seek to battle with him!
Wait... really? What possible reason could they come up with to use Black Swan after Secret Wars? The incursions are over, the Beyonders are gone, Doom isn't a God anymore. The only plot thread of hers that didn't get tied up was resurrecting her brother which I highly doubt Aaron is going to bother with.

But hey, Black Swan and Proxima Midnight drawn by Coipel is alright with me.

THE CLONE CONSPIRACY #5

Dan Slott (W), Jim Cheung (A), Gabriele Dell'Otto (C), Mark Bagley (VC). Alexander Lozano (VC).

·The Jackal takes drastic measures that Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen and Scarlet Spider could never see coming.

·Jackal's coup de grace not only sets a host of resurrected villains loose on the unsuspecting streets of San Francisco, but threatens the lives of everyone on Earth!

·After months of waiting, heartache and incredible surprises, THIS is the issue Spider-fans around the world will be talking about for years to come!

32 pages, $3.99.

>Spider-books solicited after the Avengers and event ones

>Garròn art
Eh, at least it's not bad.
>Karnak vs Fantomex

He's a TV writer then? There go my hopes and optimism.
