I wonder what life would've been like for Luke had Vader found him sooner.

Robot waifus

Only one I got, and fuck that droid thing at the end

Robot waifus you say?

...

Why? I thought it was a nice tribute to Kenny Baker. Kinda reminded me of the Dark Horse days with Tales.

...

Mainly cause its an extra ten pages

...

I mean, it's a 25th issue. If you didn't expect more pages you must be new to the whole comic book thing because this is just business as usual.

...

Why are all Jedi and ex-Jedi either sexual deviants or full on sex offenders?

...

I don't get why Aaron is making a thing of giving non-Force users lightsabers.

...

>hurting my waifu like that
I WILL MURDER THIS STORMTROOPER

It's kinda cool?

Kreel is my waifu

I WILL MURDER YOUR WAIFU user

I think it devalues lightsabers. Not only are they supposed to be very uncommon by Luke's time, they should also be extremely hard to use (granted, Vader does make a point in that page of saying they're both scrubs, but I don't feel like a non-Force user should stand up to a Jedi in training at all)

...

Ren pls go and stay go

Is that stormtrooper a Trandoshan or something? He talks about eating Wookiees and that looks like scales under the torn undersuit.

Guess we'll never find out now.

He's actually still alive.

The problem with that is you star turning Jedi into Gods incapable of being defeated by mere mortals ever. Which makes them uninteresting

>there will never be an adult-oriented Star Wars cartoon that combines absurd comedy with heartfelt meditations on war and love, like a cross between M*A*S*H and Bojack Horseman

...

I guess you're right, I just don't like it when a non-Force user starts swinging a lightsaber willy nilly after every other piece of media made such a point of them being challenging to use.

...

>R2 firing the canons
Oh shit

There will never be an adult-oriented Star Wars nothing, which is sad. Youngling killing aside, it's a family friendly franchise, and you bet your ass Disney is going to keep it that way.

>there will never be anything from the point of Stormtroopers who just want to do the right thing

Yeah, true.
>no movie about a former Stormtrooper with PTSD trying to find his way in a galaxy that no longer needs nor wants him

Difficult doesn't mean impossible. Any dipshit can pull a trigger but few have the skill to shoot a hole in a quarter.

Garth Ennis wrote a short story about that. It's obviously non-canon now, which is a shame, but it exists.

Not sure what the problem is, the only times they've come up in this comic have been directly related to a Hutt whose entire thing is that he hoards Jedi shit. Remember that Kreel used to work for him as a cover.

All the good people in the Empire left to the Rebels already

...

>good people
>joining the rebels

...

I'm gonna miss Stuart Immonen. The next arc is by Larroca, which is fucking awful.

...

>don't have the money to get away
>have a sick family member who needs caring for so you work as a chef on an Empire base and send some of the money to them
>naively believe you can change the Empire from within
Lots of reasons that might not be the case.

it's ok to be wrong user

You would know, rebel scum

...

>Larroca
Fuck

Green? Ion cannons aren't green!

The Empire are the designated bad guys. That makes them wrong by default.

...

Yeah, I thought we were free from him after Vader ended. Guess not.

Who designated them the bad guys? The (((Jedi)))?

streme W H E N?

George Lucas.

I thought the same thing but then i remembered that the ship is taken over by the good guys so now the lazers are green instead of red

Real life history user.

Compilation of all the rumors about the plot of "Episode VIII" so far (that haven't been debunked yet).

>Begins right after "The Force Awakens".

>Rey is training with Luke, but their relationship is contentious and she questions his teachings.

>Luke disappeared after Kylo Ren slaughtered his students because he left in search of the ancient Jedi temple to find out more about the ways of the Force in order to defeat Snoke.

>Snoke sends Kylo and the Knights of Ren to kill Luke and Rey. They attack Ahch-To by nightfall, and Luke defeats the Knights of Ren while Rey and Kylo fight. Kylo is ultimately overpowered and detained by Luke, and while in captivity Rey and him develop a bond and he at one point tells her something that infuriates Luke, causing him to destroy the hut they're in.

>Meanwhile, Finn joins the Resistance and develops a relationship with Kelly Marie Tran's characters. There's conflicting reports on who she is, either a Resistance pilot/mechanic or a defecting Stormtrooper like him.

>Leia gets injured in a First Order attack and Laura Dern's character takes over the Resistance. She is an ineffective leader and attemps to negotiate a treaty with the First Order rather then oppose them. Poe eventually leads a mutinity against her and takes command of the Resistence.

>Finn and Kelly Marie Tran are being pursued by Captain Phasma, who is obsessed with reclaiming her lost honor, and end up on a "casino-like" planet run by Benicio Del Toro's character, a morally ambiguous intergalactic businessman who initially feigns allegiance to the Resistance but ultimately betrays them for the First Order.

>When Rey finds out Finn is in danger, she leaves with Kylo against Luke's advice and ends up falling into a trap laid by Snoke, who attempts to entice her to the dark side. Revelations are made about Rey's purpose and the secrets of the Force.

>R2 taking control of a Star Destroyer
God I love that adorable little monster.

END

And there was absolutely nothing important after this...I assume.

>Kylo is ultimately overpowered and detained by Luke
REDEMPTION IN BOUND

>training with old master
>betrayal
>a downer ending
Holy shit, they're doing it again.

>Vader and 3PO bouncing off each other
This is hilarious.

That sniper's rifle looks exactly like the Halo one.

>Vader can't kill him because he's Padme's bridal gift

>Finn is betrayed by Kelly Marie Tran, who is in league with Captain Phasma, and he later kills Phasma by cutting her arm off.

>Luke arrives to rescue Rey and Finn from Snoke and Kylo while Poe and his men battle the First Order. During the battle, Kylo feels betrayed by Snoke, who probably dismisses him as an apprentice in favor of Rey, and leaves with a captive Rey, denouncing Snoke and obsessed with finding a middle ground between the Dark Side and the Light.

>Luke reunites with Leia and the Resistance as they prepare to rescue Rey and perhaps save Kylo ahead of Snoke's masterplan (whatever it may be).

That seems like the basic gist of it. Overall it's pretty "Empire Strikes Back"-ish as it's been said it would be.

pretty fake

if this is accurate, gonna bet that Kelly Marie turns traitor. Wonder if we can get 'Finn unconscious at the end of the movie' hat trick.

...

Maybe, but it seems pretty likely and fitting with what Rian Johnson has said about the movie.

At this point, Luke has only clashed sabers like twice in his life, and hasn't begun any sort of training with Yoda.

And also, that Stormtrooper is Kreel from the Arena, so with the exception of the 5 seconds Han, Leia and Chewie tried (and failed) to use Lightsabers, he is the only non-Force user in the comic to use a Lightsaber, and the only non-Force user with a Lightsaber in the Empire that we have seen.

So it's not like this is a common thing at all, it's just that the Star Wars comic is using this particular character as a recurring villain, because they need a guy weak enough for Luke to stand a chance against.

Also just a throwback to the original concept of Stormtroopers wielding laser swords in ANH, but after Kreel I doubt we'll be seeing it again.

Anybody can swing a Lightsaber, but usually nobody does because it would take some kind of magic sensing ability to block laser shots, and that's just silly talk!

This sounds uncomfortably like Empire strikes back

I swear, if the rumor is true in the form that they are going to repeat ESB then I'm completely out of any new movies, because hollywood is official done.

Mostly the latter half of it too, which is weird because the battle of Hoth was really good at setting the tone for the rest of the movie and unless that First Order attack that puts Leia out of commision is really big that's not gonna be enough to properly set the tone for the rest of the movie.

I hate the idea of a redeemed Kylo

I fully expect an "Empire Strikes Back" retread. It is the biggest movie in the franchise after all.

Doubt they'll retread "Return of the Jedi', though. They can't have built a second Starkiller, Kylo would be rogue and I doubt Snoke cares about politics as much as /ourguy/ Sheev.

Alright, I'll do it, ya lazy bastard.

...

...

...

>They attack Ahch-To
bless you

...

It's nice to know that all of this is just to dump supplies on a planet. Even during the Alliance days the Rebellion was still stuck with that old game we keep seeing in the cartoon. Granted holding planetary populations hostage IS a good Imperial trick.

...

...

...

>Its an artoo kills all the droids episode

...

And now that's the end, for real this time.

Would you guys have been interested in a Youngling show?

Now that story time is over, what is she, /swco/?

Probably.

It was probably my favorite arc of the entire show. Only thing that could have challenged it would have been a fighter focused series, and that would have to be damn good.

>I think it devalues lightsabers
Did you forget how there were at least 10,000 lightsabers active throughout the entire PT at one time? Probably 15,000 counting the Jedi that had two, since not everyone did. The only thing that would devalue lightsabers is suddenly having one spawn for every living being in the galaxy.

>favorite arc
>not Umbara
>not Maul/Mandalore

No

I have the feeling Petro was a deal breaker for some people. Although given he had the exact same voice as pic related it had some merit for me.

The Jedi Order's community bicycle. Everyone's ridden her.

I still wish we had this.
