After watching Shin Goji, I ended up watching legendary Godzilla for the sake of comparison. I couldn't believe I never noticed that not once was Godzilla's theme was used in the movie. Just generic Hollywood background music.
Holy shit does that bother me, that's like having a star wars/indiana jones movie with out there theme. Godzilla theme is perfect, it has the right mix of being ominous and heroic. And to not have it is stupid.
