What is this show supposed to be about?

Why does this video exist?

This looks much morse than the Hulk 1967 opening

This series blows

I know Avatar might be the best western animated cartoon ever made

Samurai Jack is pretty episodic why do people praise it

I find each of these shows to be overrated

Did you ever noticed that it was episodic nonsense about a character who rarely spoke and constantly fucked up his goal of ever reaching Aku? It's not the 10/10 show you think it is

Xiaolin Showdown was awful

Samurai Jack was mediocre I mean over 50 episodes the story never progressed, at the end Jack was as far from killing Aku as he was on episode 3, that really disappointed me, specially since I watched SBT before Samurai Jack and was hoping for something similar in terms of story telling, the show didn't fit its own episodic format, it was asking for story arcs, and progression on Jack's goal, but it never happened, "the birth of evil" was the closer we of that, sort of.

With the main story out of the way, we are left with each episode's story they were fine, hit or miss, but that's just it a few great ones but nothing outstanding. I do realize that this part is 100% my opinion.

The background was the only good part of the art for me, the flat look of the character design was appealing to me, and the action scenes everybody praised was a huge let down, they were just jack slashing the camera most of the time, a compilation of very quick shots, no longer dynamic movements, everyone looked too stiff.

I wish I could like it as much as everyone else, maybe I just lost the opportunity to watch it as a kid, but for me it is a 6/10

>it was asking for story arcs
I have no idea how anyone can watch the show and be this wrong.

It was never meant to be a continuous story. Every episode after the pilot is stand-alone, and with the exception of the Scotsman episodes they can be watched in any order.

This is MS Paint trash

None of those shows were any good to begin with

Samurai Jack is overrated there's no continuity or story arcs

I don't get all the praise it got either. It has a premise that really requires a more serialized plot, but it's an extremely episodic show. And to be blunt, Jack isn't a particularly interesting character; in fact, he's extremely bland. The series desperately needed more of an ongoing plot and to either better develop Jack or to have some other main characters that could play off of him (we sorta had that with the Scotsman, but he only appeared in a few episodes). It felt like it could've worked well as some kind of miniseries but stretching it out made the premise wear every thin very quickly.

>Sup Forums- a place where people come to whine about the plots of cartoons they watched as kids rather than be entertained
