ITT: "villains" that did nothing wrong

...

This guy. All he wanted to do was make Hasbro great again

>it's a "nothing wrong" thread

>NOTHING WRONG
SHE WAS DEFEATED BY WEAK GEMS DESPITE BEING THE PERFECT WARRIOR

Well, duh.
SU is specifically built around the idea that the characters are not judged along an good/evil dichotomy.

All hail the Great Uniter!

Well I mean. She did nothing wrong in the same sense that Nazi soldiers did "nothing wrong". She was just following orders to check on the status of the ensured destruction of an entire planet.

...

The least you can say is that she is a hypocrite. Moments after deriding fusion as a cheap tactic she uses it herself.

Then there is the unwillingness to recognize the value in other life forms than her own.

You can't say she doesn't understand pain and grief, since she has been hurt herself. But she refuses to recognize this in others.

So no, Jasper has done things wrong.

...

As much as I am loath to say it: he's possessed by an ancient, boundless force of destruction and creation. No jury would convict him.

>invaded Russia during the Winter
>Did nothing wrong
Sure

There is no way to have an invasion of Russia that does not carry on until winter.

...

You have it wrong.
She hates herself while being proven that she is just about as good as a warrior gets.
So, since she is feeling like shit and is well aware that just about anything is beneath her in the only way she ever knew to measure value, no wonder she cannot value anything.
Yes, she all but admitted weakness before the CG.
But she could not lose and she had no chance of winning.
So now she feels more alone than ever, is aware of the weakness this implies and refuses to accept that Earth might have a thing to teach her due to her deep-seated hatred of it.
She really is at an impasse when she starts trying to tame corrupted Gems.
And this is likely where the redemption angle comes in.

...How is what I wrote wrong, though?

Steven is gonna have to redeem her, but the only way to do that is by entering her mind. And to do that he's going to have to unbubble her. I wonder if she has any cognition in her beast form?

Anyway, there is obviously tremendous potential for exposition in such an episode.

Steven is going to have to ask his room whether Rose really shattered Pink Diamond, and if so, why.

You are wrong to call her a hypocrite is what I am saying.
She stands by her ideals even when forced to act against them.
She feels terrible about being too weak to win on her own, about liking the rush of fusion, about wanting to be Malachite again.
She's like a devout gay Christian. She hates herself for succumbing to temptation. She knows that what she does and wants is against her core beliefs.
And yet she cannot help but long for that sin.
She is not a hypocrite, she has a crisis of faith and identity.

W-where is the general?

We Spaniards are kind of to blame for that one. We retained Napoleon's forces in the peninsula because half of the country was composed of stubborn idiots who wanted to keep an Absolute Monarchy by putting a manchild on the fucking throne. We did fuck over the entire world with that bright move.

>Standing...

>Brings forth an age of technological marvel in which science and magic can coexist
>Forms a stable government in which his authority is unquestioned
>There are no wars
>Cultural exchange has enriched the world
>As long as you pay him tribute heĀ“ll leave you alone
>Despite the industrialized world he created numerous natural grounds are left standing untarnished and unpolluted
>Has maintained his power for thousands of years
>Protects the Earth from aliens thanks to his fame of being an unkillable lord

Aku was the best thing to happen to the world and Jack is trying to recuperate a time of feudal lords, misery, disease, war and pain.

He literally didn't do anything.

He was only doing what he exists to do and Frank was a worthless sack of shit anyway.

>this thread

He was wrong with bashing Flapjack though.

His name means evil and he burned villages and crucified a bunch of dogs in his first couple appearances.
