I'll Start.
Movies Ruined In Their Final 10 Minutes
they had to give the poor saps who paid for imax their money's worth
Several M. Night Shamalama movies
Fuck off. I liked how they actually pulled the ending nobody expected because it seem like it was expected.
It comes at night.
Such a brilliant film ruined by le open ending.
The ending was shit, along with the whole movie
Plot:
>In bunker, shady guy and cool guy
>Try to leave alone
>Fail
>Get used to it
>Try to leave with cool guy
>Get caught in act
>Fail
>Cool guy dies
>Try to leave
>Succeed
>Shitty cliffhanger
>cliffhanger
You don't know what that word means so your idiotic opinion is discarded. Her role in the story was over and story concluded.
this
I'm still mad about being robbed by this piece of shit
VVitch
Whole family gets murdered
I guess I'll just go live deliciously in the woods LMAO[/spoiler
Fucking joke of a movie
>Baby Driver
Source Code.
The true final ending was so bad, i straight up refused to acknowledge that the last 10 minutes were canon.
Full Metal Jacket
without the sniper scene it would have been 11/10
So many people have a problem with the last 10 minutes. I don't have a problem, I think the ending was great. My only problem was Jake stealing the man's identity.
It Comes At Night
Long wait, no payoff. Total shit, do not watch. The movie would've been tolerable with some sort of apocalypse explanation.
whats open about the ending I thought it was obvious they were fucked?
>Jake stealing the man's identity
The man is dead and the entire thing is in some sort of simulation which is going to get deleted soon after the case is closed. It was still a fucking stupid ending
It was never a simulation. The general (or whatever she was) was mistaken about what the machine was. It was a gateway to parallel dimensions, that's confirmed by the director.
idk the whole last half was pretty meh in my mind. The Bootcamp half was great but the war half felt uninspired and made it feel like two different movies stuck together, not in a good way
C'mon, it wasn't their fault. The guys that wrote the script wrote it completely without that scene but then Paramount Pictures stole their script and put the Cloverfield license on it most likely because otherwise they would've lost it. It's a good movie that sadly got an unnecessary license put on it.
how does it feel being this much of a pleb?
>let's create an Animus!
>woops accidentally created multidimensional time travel. My bad
Oh no, that I got. My issue is that the film raises all these questions and you go into the final act thinking that's it's going to answer some of them, or at least throw you a bone, but no, it answers nothing.
I don't see the problem here.
It was great until MEW was suddenly an action star goddess and blowing up alien ships. they should have ended it just as she went outside and we saw there actually was an alien invasion imo....
Her taking charge and not running away again, plus using the stuff set up earlier saved the last part for me. It was relatively well done in that if they had to have an action scene that was the best we could hope for. But I would prefer if like you said, she sees the aliens off in the distance, and then drives towards the people needing help to complete her character arc, instead of what we got.
How was the movie ruined at the end when the beginning was horrible to start with. The movie was short and yet it wasted over 30 minutes on a lame party seen. This movie was beyond trash.
You don't get it you are not supposed to like the 2nd half. You want to be back in boot camp just like real war
The strangers ending was a major letdown
I get the contrast that Kubrick was going for I just think the final sniper scene is goofy
>the movie sucked intentionally
People who Post on Sup Forums actually believe this
...
?
> The strangers then unmask themselves to the couple offscreen, and take turns stabbing the couple in the stomach and chest before leaving.
>The two boys come upon the house and discover the chaotic scene, including the bodies of Kristen, James and Mike inside.
> One boy approaches Kristen's body, and as he reaches out to her, she wakes up and screams.
Wtf
I never saw the ending, guess im glad i missed it because I found the beginning to be quite captivating
I agree the sniper scene was dumb as well as the guys screaming while being shot in slow motion
Lol heres a (You) dum dum.
...
>the sniper killed was female
OH NOW I get it. War is terrible. This ending sucked so bad but most people would eat kubricks ass just to get close to his cock.
You mean you acutually made it to the end. You are a far better man than myself
I really hated this ending.
funny
i walked in on someone watching it and have seen the end but ive never seen the beginning
You and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend
I don't get these types of movies. It's like it's trying to brainwash you into never trusting anyone.
By that logic, it was over the moment she got outside. Having her fight a final boss then drive to the survivors on the front line of the battle for humanity was all superlative.
The girl in this movie has such an ugly sounding scream.
It's less of an
>AAAAAAAAAAAH
and more of an
>OOAAAAAAWWWWWHHH
what do you mean, wasn't the last 10 minutes just ending with her turning around in her truck and headed to the action
was there a deleted scene or post-credits scene or director's cut or something? i saw it practically opening night
...
maybe in another life
but you and i both know only one of us leaves here alive
...
Gerald's Game
It was a bit longer than 10 minutes and it didnt kill the movie but the final fight in Fury was retarded to put into a movie that was meant to be portraying war realistic
Could you tell what questions you wanted answered?
Yeah, the dichotomy at the end was supid and unfufilling, it was pretty spooky leading up to it though
The Village
Signs
Lady in the Water
Was 'The Happening's reveal in the last 10 minutes? If so, then that.
The Mist
Sure. who opened the door? Why did Will say that he has a brother? How did they get infected? What comes at night?
You can speculate, but you can't give me definitive answers for any of these questions. I even watched Krisha, the directors prequel movie, to get a feel for his work and while I understand that this is not a horror film in the traditional sense, it still feels a bit like a cop out.
