Do you know whether pic related made any other appearances beside that xtreme xmen run?

Now if only Marvel would give these 2 an ongoing rather then Iceman.

I love both these couples.

Hulking and Wiccan are cute too for the younger characters

as much as I would love the same user they don't have any kind of staying power. Kate Bishop has a better chance than them. Then again marvel did give their solo to foolkiller. So what should I know.

Just that run sadly. In my head its canon that wolverine got so drunk that he definitely ended up fucking Herc.

Also here's my crackship pic related. It makes more sense than Schism all together.

>Just that run sadly.
Feels bad, that was literally the only superhero comic book I've ever read.

This is fake right?

...

These two are ridiculously tsundere for each other, they might as well just be canon.

...

A bit disappointing that the majority of fan-created content is MCU.

What else can you expect from casuals? My favourite crackship is Damian Wayne and Irey West but will you find good fanart of it anywhere? Nope. Just 10 shitty artist and maybe 1 or 2 art thats genuinely pretty to look at.

Here's pic related of the two growing up. I know I am breaking the rules here a bit. Sorry.

Howlett showed up in the Pak astonishing arc before Xtreme started but neither of them have shown up since

Howlett would have been a way better Wolverine replacement than x23

I'm always surprised that fujos manage to be casuals at all, give how actively you have to go looking for content. One would think they'd devour anything and everything related to whatever they like.

Canon OTP here

Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with the casuals if MCU wasn't taking over everything.

The only reasoning I could see for this is that there's been decades worth of books and content with the two and it could possibly be intimidating or confusing as to where to start if you want to invest yourself.

Whereas, MCU is shiny and new and all you have to do is watch a few movies even if the relationships and characterizations aren't entirely accurate and some things don't get touched upon or mentioned at all.

You fags have your own containment board. So use it already.

I guess it makes sense from a "it's less intimidating" point of view, but then you have shit like superfamily and (most) of spideypool that shows SOME level of knowledge of comics, but still at casual level.

Their story ended with Herc dying in that stupid crossover event at that time (Battle of the Atom I think) and Howlett going to hell with Black Cyclops to bring Herc's soul back.

Why they didn't make THAT plotline it's own comic we will never know.

Wolverine is really gay user. He even fucked nightcrawler as you can see here in pic related. Like this is canon, wolverine cover. Also him fucking Herc here is canon too

...

I want more of this

...

...

>but then you have shit like superfamily and (most) of spideypool
There's also the fact that people will attach themselves to the first version they see because it was their first experience. It also doesn't help that the actors who portray those characters are attractive.

You look at DC and most of the art is based on their comic iterations rather than their DCEU actors. Also, a significant amount of superfamily art is drawn with their MCU counterparts design in mind.

movie cap and Bucky canon are homos

Fuck you DC stop fucking around.

I don't like MCU Steve/Tony at all.

I agree, it seems to be really popular but I don't get it.

I don't really like it either, but MCU pushes Steve/Bucky so much and I don't really like that ship either so MCU Steve/Tony is okay by comparison in my book.

The only good MCU ship is Bucky/abuse

It had some potential early on but it's been so many movies and they just feel like work associates at best rather than friends.

true

Unfortunately Tumblr attacked the HTP so content has been really slowing down

>they just feel like work associates at best rather than friends
This. That small exchange near the end of Civil War when Tony says, "So I was." to Steve calling Bucky his friend didn't really leave any impact because it didn't feel like they were friends in the first place. This is one of the many reasons why I don't like the MCU that much.

Incorrect, that would be Cap/abuse and Cap/Thor.

I first got into Steve/Tony in 2008. Back then Iron Man was the only MCU movie, and things were mostly 616 with a lot of touches of the MCU!Tony from people who were new the ship and hadn't really read that many of the comics. Like Tony would be snarky and have an Arc Reactor in a lot of fanfics.

Also the fallout from the original Civil War was still relevant, so that was the inspiration of a lot of fanfics.

Good memories...

Now the amount of 616 fics is pretty minuscule to the amount of MCU fics.

Yeah now all the docs are like Tony/Steve mpreg where Peter is their son..

And not nearly enough Tony/Peter

I think it's just a flaw of the movie format. We are told they're supposed to be friends but unlike comics or presumably TV where they'd have normal adventures between major storylines we don't see anything to suggest that's the case.

>We are told they're supposed to be friends but unlike comics or presumably TV where they'd have normal adventures between major storylines we don't see anything to suggest that's the case

This right here is why nutrek sucks.

Fucking Tumblr ruins everything

Not anymore, Stucky pretty much replaced it. But it used to be Marvel main slash ship for a long time.

...

...

I've seen pictures of two guys fucking that have been less gay than this.

Greg Rucka asked Ribic about this cover once:
>Also please note the placement of the beer bottle.
>I once was at a show where I asked Esad about this cover.
>Esad is a big, cheerful, man with a wicked sense of humor.
>He just looked at me.
>And then he smiled.
>And the smile got bigger.
>And bigger.
>And he said, “And nobody at Marvel noticed!”
>And then he couldn’t stop laughing.

They will always be the true end game in my eyes.

So why is Cap put together with Tron here?

Tony just loves Tron so much that he had to model his underarmor/suit after it.

>with the casuals

>superfamily and (most) of spideypool

>that people will attach themselves to the first version they see because it was their first experience

It's really absurd that some of these self-same people are still writing Stony in post-CW fan fics (or creating post-CW fan Stony fan art) and doing things like pairing Bucky with some strange people (or making a Bucky-Stony threesome). It's the same mind-set that had the Friend's cast eventually had four of the six cast members end up together and ignoring things like the fact that Clint found someone who had absolutely nothing to do with the Avengers.

These self-same people do bizarre things like pair Darcy Lewis with Nick, Darcy with Steve and/or Bucky, and so on, although of course, these are Mary Sue inserts.

There are still people committed to it, to the point that they write post CA-TWS and, more remarkably, post Civil War stories and art that have Steve still with Tony and Bucky with Natasha, Sam, Darcy, Maria Hill, Clint or pretty much anyone other than Steve.

Same, it just doesn't work for me for the reasons brought up. I mainly ship Steve/Peggy and Steve/Sam for MCU Cap. Steve/Bucky is okay.

I do still enjoy Steve/Tony in the EMH-verse, or even the Avengers Assemble cartoon. Alas, not many write for those specific series anymore.

BruJay may not be the best bat ship, but it certainly is the most fun.

>And he said, “And nobody at Marvel noticed!”
Kek, Ribic is great.

i dont get it desu

The bottle is his dick

Twincest always makes sense yeeessss

w-what
im in way too much pain to actually get this
its just a bottle on the table to me

Look at the positioning of the bottle compared to his crotch

it's positioned right over Logan's lap

he's staring at naked Nightcrawler

the bottle is his boner

oh so its symbolic
i thought im missing something reeaaaally obvious

>Nightcrawler is ass naked
>Logan is looking at his blue dick
>the bottle is placed where his crotch is, like an erection
Learn2symbolism user.

get some sleep, user

So is there any Wolverine/Nightcrawler porn?

i actually saw that immediatly but i thought theres something more obvious that im missing
i wish i could
got toothpain and its driving me insane
meds arent helping and i have to wait another 5 hours to go to dentist

Truly the best couple.

that's just precious

This isn't comics or cartoons.

Its gay comics

He was a child prostitute, after all.

When is Richard Rider gonna live up to his name?

I know it's not Sup Forums per se but I can't help myself, the otp feels hit too damn hard.

That's a porn board dumbass, barely anyone there is there for fucking discussion.
And with that logic, take the thicc, cheesecake and waifu threads to /aco/ then.

> per se

It's not co in any shape or form. Don't shit up the thread, user.

Yeah it sucks that the majority of Steve/Tony fic is for the MCU

I watched ST:ID recently, and I thought it did a decent job of showing that Kirk and Spock were good friends by the time of the movie. With MCU Steve/Tony, there's nothing at all to suggest they're more than coworkers, and they're weren't written as good friends in Avengers 2.

I wish Marvel Adventures Steve/Tony had more fic

Oh yeah, the Marvel mobile game seems to show a lot of shippiness between Steve and Tony. Does anyone write fic for it?

Well if we're doing not strictly Sup Forums

Man, Marvel Adventures was a fun series. Lots of good ship fodder in it too, IIRC.

A quick look on Archive says there's about 250 fics for the Avengers Academy game total, 97 with the Stony tag added to it. Which is sad, since it's literally a Marvel-Approved high school AU ripe for the picking.

The character designs are nice for fan art too.

Stephanie with Cass is good.
Stephanie with Tim is also fine.
Cass with Tim makes my skin crawl.
An OT3 makes me grin like a kid at Christmas.
And Cass with Conner is fun.

What does this say about me?

s-sorry

Man, the fucking Deal

...

>Steve/Peggy and Steve/Sam

Steve and Peggy only makes sense if you are writing something set in the WWII era. Unless you want to suggest that a guy who appears about 25-27 chronologically and is that mentally is going to be getting it on with a woman who is, in every sense, a minimum of three times his age, e.g. old enough to be his grandmother.

Sam is essentially the best friend, little brother character. I don't get any sense that Steve would do anything, like allow himself to be literally killed by Sam because he wouldn't defend himself, much less put himself in harm's way as he did with the rescue in Azzano. Nor is there anything to indicate (particularly in canon comics, not just MCU) that Steve would (a) spend all that energy getting drunk, say something like (b) before I had nothing, I had Sam, or (c) literally commit suicide days later by diving a plane full of explosives into the arctic waters.

gay

There doesn't seem to be much art for it.

I don't know what the hell to think of the Scott/Logan ship but the notion sure as hell amuses me.

What the fuck? Is this all real or fanmade?

Fanmade
moonheadpress. blog spot .com/2013/11/the-deal.html

thanks user

Make sure to read the superman comic on there too. Its just as bad, possibly worse

Marvel doesn't have the stomach to dedicate a book to two wholesome gay kids (are they even 20 yet?) who are obviously having sex with each other when they can instead have characters nervously flirt with the idea of gayness.

no duh

There really doesn't seem to be much interest in Hal/Berry, I think because the Sinestro Hal seems to suck all the energy out of it anyone even remotely interested in shipping a Lantern with anything.

Well Anka is gaying up Star-Lord so it won't be too long...

Either that or whenever Sam's puberty hits him hard.

...

It's a very bland ship and they don't have much chemistry or time dedicated to their relationship, the movies tried selling them as friends but they come off as uneasy allies who get along just for the sake of getting along until one of them does something the other hates.

616 Stony was good but then got killed for me thanks to Hickman (that end with them trying to murder each other while the end of the world happens was awful)

EMH and Marvel Adventures Tony and Steve however are perfect.

>Sam is essentially the best friend, little brother character.
No that's Bucky although change little to big for the MCU.

Also MCU Steve just met Sam but from what little we've seen they're inseparable, Sam goes with Steve everywhere even to Peggy's funeral, they both have drinks together, also Steve and Sam drinking together in AoU (he even entrusted Sam with the search for Bucky).

>literally commit suicide days later by diving a plane full of explosives into the arctic waters.
He didn't do that for Bucky and it didn't happen next day, he did it because it was the only way to stop the bombs from reaching their destination but it was obvious that if he had the option to die or go back to Peggy after stopping the bombs he would have gone back to Peggy.

You're wrong about the comics, Steve shared a home with Sam for the longest time and got jealous when he got a girlfriend and Steve took it as a sign that Sam didn't need him anymore to the point he had nightmares about them being together. He also begged Sam to join the Avengers and then cried at one point when he thought Sam had died.

Dick Rider and Star-Lord does not get enough fanart (or any lewd shit)

Same goes for Steve/Zemo, why do I have to like unpopular ships?

That's because many of them base it on fanon. If one popular fanfic writer/fanartist with a huge following posts a couple of panels from a comic it can go viral and can get adapted into the commonly accepted fanon, but that doesn't mean most of those casuals will go back to read the comics.

On this board maybe, but Hal/Barry is the most popular lantern ship just about anywhere else. Hal/Sin doesn't have as much of a fanbase in comparison.

It's annoying because there are comic and fanart based on the comics or cartoons but you just have to wade through hundred of MCU shit.

Also if the comic character pops in the MCU you're fucked because then everything you're going to see from that point forward is the MCU character and everything else will be drowned by it.

Spideypool started way back around when DP was getting popular on the internet and people were posting comic panels of him and it happened mainly because his costume looked similar to Spider-Man, both were funny, so why not paired them?

But DP's relationship with Spidey didn't really get fleshed out until Joe Kelly did the Spidey/DP mini and even then Duggan treats it like Peter can't stand Wade and Deadpool on his part loves annoying and shitting on him.

Superfamily happened because of that one panel from Bendis' Avengers run where Tony and Steve were fighting (because Steve had discovered the whole Illuminati thing) and Peter made a comment saying "Mom and Dad are fighting again" that plus Peter bouncing from one side to another during Civil War (which for some reason people took as Steve and Tony fighting over him) is what made Superfamily.

>Steve/Clint

That I don't see enough of, and seeing how many daddy issues Clint has

also how much is Clint going to cry when the Hydra Cap thing comes out?
