Speaking of Titans...

Teen Titans #5 final cover by Khoi Pham

Thanks user for the Storytime. Something about Booth's art is just human repellent. So the midget is Gizmo, guy with head exposed is Psimon and Hipster Giant is Mammoth, whos the others?

>starfire

Bald lady is Jinx, the other woman is Shimmer

The gang's all here.

On an semi-related note, the editor for Titans tweeted there's a major announcement for this series (and Teen Titans) coming soon.

The end, hope you enjoyed.

Probably a crossover or the Titans get a new member.

Psimon fucking says!

They are in NY. Is like a disease.

That subtle watchman badge on the taxi driver, nice.

>Titans scanned on time
What kind of Bizarro shit is this

Donna is a photographer again.
Abnett really is doing god's work with regards to Donna.

Why does Garth have Heat Vision?

>Batwoman getting her own series again
How did I not hear about this? Please be good.

"Batman, I'll use my telepath- NYAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!"

it has steve epting art, so it'll at least look good.

Yes! Time for best book.

I lived in NYC my whole life and hipsters are the worst people to live around.

Nice ass

Well his origin used to be "he was an outcast 'cause Atlanteans are racist against purple eyes" and he's a spellcaster, so maybe someone decided "fuck it, magic purple eyebeam spells"?

I'm really kind of digging cleaned up, hipster looking Mammoth.

Isn't it kind of hard to develop this kind of cure when you live in a universe where powers can stem from anything between "being part alien" to "side effect of a scientific accident" to "gift from the gods"...

Garth has had magical laser eyes for decades.

Well it is a plot by the Fearsome Five so Psi-mon could be psychically nudging them to just not use their powers anymore and patients just don't realize the difference

guys, is there such a thing as comic playlist?

I actually wouldn't mind a sort of "cultured giant" character turn for Mammoth. There's already so many big tough dumb guys.

Just a shitty Judas Contract rehash. AGAIN.

Probably, but the characters don't know that so it seems like they should be a tad more critical before he starts manipulating them.

Agreed

Will this book ever be free of the Booth Curse? Only reason why I haven't bothered adding this to my pull

This book started out as the most hyped book and it's just nosedived into mediocre garbage.

As long as Booth is at DC he's going to have dibs on drawing whatever book features Wally.

I guarantee you if Wally gets a solo book it is primarily because Booth is lobbying for it, so he can draw it.

Booth is a Wallyfag, even if he doesn't know shit about Wally. A Wally solo is your only hope of him getting off of Titans. It's the same reason he was on The Flash for like 2 years -- he wanted to draw the book with "Wally" in it. Don't expect him to leave sooner than 2 years this time around, either.

>A Wally solo is your only hope of him getting off of Titans.

That's like asking whether I prefer to be hung or burned to death

DC doesn't actually care a lot about Wally. They're never going to toss seriously great talent at him. That shit's reserved for Batman and Superman, sometimes Wonder Woman.

I was going to make a joke about how I've never seen any story about people who say they can "cure" superpowers where the process actually works, but he kinda shut me up right there.

And then the known super-villain running the company shows up.

Whats with Mammoth's feet?

You know, I can understand Mal freaking out, but when a super-villain is spotted at a facility for removing or teaching people how to control super-powers, that's probably a situation where you shouldn't go in guns blazing.

It has been mediocre since Titans Hunt.

Booth not draw so good

>Written by Marguerite Bennett and James Tynion IV
sorry user

So what is wrong with that ass??? Why Lilith has that expression on her face???

I must confess, anons, I like this team a lot more than any other right now.

That's all of rebirth, basically

Yeah but it seemed like the whole Wally West return was kind of important but he's just sequestered in this tripe.

So now is Wally going to be demoted to just another titan?
I have liked what I have read so far but I admit I really only read this month after month for the Wally.

Yes.

This is the only book Wally will be in, but it isn't a Wally book anymore. It also has to be the Garth book, the Donna book, etc. Even though Dick has his own book he will also demand a lot of screentime as the leader.

The storytime threads for the last few issues of this book were all filled with people complaining that this book was "Wally and Friends".

I like Wally but I also like seeing an issue where other members of the team got some spotlight.

I am actually interested in the book because I like the interaction between the team members. Also because Wally, sure, but I'll be honest: I'm also enjoying how they're building up their relationships.

>make a stunning discovery about Meta Solutions!
they are good guys now.

So am I really the only person who doesn't hate Booth's art?

I am certain a Wally book could be just as popular as Dick's solo book.
Flash is currently the wnd most popular hero right now after all.

>The Fearsome Five have genuinely reformed and are honestly trying to help meta-humans.

That would be an unexpected twist.

I don't mind him.

Wally doesn't get to crossover with Batman. It would never be as popular.

The problem is this is the only book Wally is in and it was his big return. You don't throw something as seemingly monumental as DCU Rebirth and then follow it up with basically nothing.

Black Wally has been in more comics and been more relevant than adult Wally. Think about that.

Because Nick Bradshaw is a hack.

>You don't throw something as seemingly monumental as DCU Rebirth and then follow it up with basically nothing.

All the Rebirth stuff is on slow burn as it builds to the eventual crossover event. If you expected this book to be all Rebirth all the time, you clearly haven't been reading comics too long.

>sometimes Wonder Woman
As assholeish as this may sound i'm glad you at-least had the foresight to include the sometime before Wonder Woman and you gave me a genuine chuckle for that.

Right, but the slow burn isn't even going to involve the only book Wally's in.

Titans has spent a year not following up on it at all when it seemed like the book that has the best reason to follow up on it.

Instead it's a fucking Batman/Flash crossover. While Titans...crosses over with Teen Titans to do Judas Contract.

Thank you

This cover was the one I bought at the nearby comic shop. I guess they ran out of the superior Booth version. I'm not even baiting.

I thought it was just crossing over with Deathstroke for Judas Contract again.

I'd guess the reason the big storyline is in multiple books is to make DC seem like a real connected universe again

I think it's less "Judas Contract" and more "fighting Deathstroke with JC flashbacks to clarify continuity". Or at least when Priest talked about it a while back he made it seem like it was something that already happened.

Deathstroke moving into odd-numbered weeks starting in April is another sign related to that crossover.

It's weird how I actually find Pham to be pretty good for art.
