Yes.
Is that the guy from Platoon?
I thought the "Where do you think we are?" was a bit much. In fact I think that whole show was a bit much.
/thread
Yes. He's a major character in Scrubs.
14 year old me definitely thought it was totally amazing and inspiring
So you watched this episode yesterday?
It was great. Props to Zach Braff for introducing the show writer to the end credits song. It's such a fitting song.
I bet I watched this show yesterday 15 years ago, yeah
yeah, but I got something even better

best episode of scrubs, without a doubt. holy shit
also introduced me to joshua radin, who's an amazing musician
youtube.com
Scrubs had an amazing soundtrack capturing that cross section of what indie music sounded then.

>That head tilt
>Those pursed lips
>That wistful "Where do you think we are?"
Cox's performance was amazing, it was JD who didnt know where he was
Scrubs was should a dissonant show.
Remember that the same show that had this episode about grieving for your brother's death by cancer also had an ep where half the hospital staff (Including the director) took an impromptu vacation with a days notice to hawaii and the drama was about how fat the girls were
>Episode where a doctor accidentally transplants infected organs to several patients, killing them all suffering a deep depression as a result
>Episode where a woman has a disease where she sees people singing songs all the time, a musical romp of an episode!
Same show.
It's on purpose, like MASH. Demonstrates that a show can be chiefly comedic but still be capable of being taken seriously.
I though that "15 years ago" was a "2005 was 25 years ago" type of meme
Then I looked it up
It started airing 16 years ago
Fuck. Me.
The problem is the serious stuff can be a little melodramatic and the comedy stuff is looney tunes tier wacky shenanigans.
MASH struck a better balance imo, way less jarring
But user...
2005 WAS 25 years ago.
made me doubt for half a second there
It was a bit too much....
feels...
for mee....
I have cried very few times due to a tv show or movie, VERY FEW. I literally never cry
But I cried during this
Romance or relationship between two lovers really makes you feel, but nothing beats the love between two brothers
scrubs is preachy retarded garbage
G
this is the only correct answer, I still feel uncomfortable listening to that song because of this
lmao absurdist humor
lmao noone ever acts like a human being in any context
except for the emotional ending where you're supposed to care about them and then there's a 5 minute spiel about some sort of moral I'm supposed to gain from a parody show
that's every fucking episode
What exactly was it preaching?
something something leftists
Sucks that so much of it was changed for Netflix
Every episode ends in a spiel about life, friendship, love or whatever the fuck
>getting this triggered by someone posting the letter G
JD was constantly hallucinating, why did he get on Cox for this?
the only reason this episode is good is because it has Brendan Fraser in it
I liked it but I watched it with an ex and it ruined it for me because it was a bad breakup. It did introduce me to some pretty good music though. But since it is related to that whore in my mind I will call it "Nu-MASH" for limp wristed millennial queers with daddy issues and then teleport out of the thread. Heh, nothing personnel.
>aha I'm so random and clever I showed him!!
a generation raised on scrubs everyone
are you going to go play naked golf with your wacky black friend now?
He didn't really "get on" him. He let him down gently, like he was sincerely concerned for a friend.
You'd be getting on Cox all the time too if you were Zach Braff.
G
XD
Could you imagine what it would be like talking to JD in real life?
youtube.com
Holy fuck
Reminds me of Ryan Gosling's character in Drive.
>Supporting a show starring that sick fuck Braff
What the hell is wrong with you people? How can you support a man who literally said in an interview: "Well, I believe we have to give our nation's children a chance, you know?" while talking about his pornography collection?
Best character incoming
It's weird how a show about a metrosexual goofball who has a pet stuffed dog and a black [boy]friend he calls "Chocolate Bear" can deliver powerful moments like this and many others
That's not Dr. Kelso.
Are you retarded? that wasn't brendan fraser
>tfw was on Sup Forums and then here when those were first starting
>tfw was there the day his official website got hacked and those were added to his about section and stayed there for like three days
>tfw just realized it was over ten years ago
Jesus Christ.
It really fucked me up because my grandpa has just died a week before I saw this so I was already worked up.
In general any scene thsr shows a person is dead all along (this ep) or that they're alive for one more moment (inner light TNG) or a scene where all the dead people are waiting for the mc once they're dead (ending of titanic) always get me choked up
i actually did a re-edit of this scene getting rid of all the funny parts. i think its an improvement
youtube.com
Inner light is the best star trek episode.
JUST
Uh, no shitlords. The best Star Trek episode is every episode of Star Trek Discovery now airing on CBS All Access.
Can you not?
Don't ever @ me or my partner's tribble ever again.
PORG!
Cox was the best part of that damn show.
Was the music really changed? I watched most of it on tv back in the day but I haven’t on Netflix
They did it for supernatural to. The season 1 episode with the reaper has dont fear the reaper cut out.
Yeah it was
Childhood is agreeing with Cox.
Adulthood is realizing Kelso made more sense.
Kelso was good until the last couple of seasons. Then I felt he just got too...slenderized I guess would be the best term.
Scrubs isn't on Netflix anymore so it's a moot point really, you can just buy or download it or whatever and get the original songs.
That's why I can't stand to watch Scrubs from season 6 on. All the characters feel like poor imitations of themselves, which is weird because I'm pretty sure the writers were still the same. They just forgot how to write their characters.
flanderized*
Just noticed that. Fuck you fingers.
Every scene involving /our guy/ is amazing.
>Faggot doesn't know an old Sup Forums meme
>Calls someone else reddit when they use it
This will never not be funny, you self hating redditfugee newfaggot. Go back and suicide bomb yourself.
>Then the redditfugee newfaggot deletes it out of shame because he doesn't know the post was archived and we can all still see it
The reddit menace is real.
He didn't delete it. It was deleted by mods, just like your post is going to be.
I'm sure, you fucking faggot. Cry a little harder and keep outing yourself neogaf homo.
Based Dr Cocks got promoted from Sergeant to Major.
i heard this song playing in a dentist's office and immediately jumped out of the chair and sprinted through the halls
What season and episode was this? I stopped watching after season 2 and I don't think I've seen this scene.
lol
what is your problem ?
It's the episode in season three when JD finally talks Doctor Cox into having a picnic with him in the park and just to taunt him the Janitor shows up with Doctor Turkleton's corpse and starts fucking it in front of JD and Cox.
just go away you got caught and you're embarrassing yourself with your samefagging
I find it hilarious that you throw a temper tantrum like a child and then act like you have the moral high ground. This site is terrible and the worst part about it is even if I leave I find your kind shitting up other sites, like this guy:
reddit.com
Gay's Anatomy ruined that song forever
They did the same to parts of Jericho's soundtrack
Quick rundown? I always see this picture but I've never felt like watching Scrubs.
just watch the ep
remember the chicken scene in mash
shit was fucked up
>tfw it wasnt a chicken
youtube.com
how come he dont want me
Some trivia for you: that line wasn't actually in the script. Will was channelling the fact that his dad was never really there for him, and that hug was from one friend to another.
that's good banter desu senpai
Will Smith had a great relationship with his dad. He did improvise the line but it was based on people he knew growing up.
The music in between scenes.
Wheezleewooo boo dwop beepop
hah
Did you know that owning your burdens is half the battle?
>tfw this scene
NOOOOOOOOO
i was rewatching it with my now ex-fiance and we only made it to season 7 before she up and left.
it's been a month and i'm still mad about that specifically
fuck off french fag
go back to your redditfr
You're dead soon and you wasted all this time doing nothing.
