Will they include the Sup Forums killer in it?

The only think the Sup Forums killer can murder is 2 boxes of hotpockets in one night, 3 if he's had an ice cold Monster Zero

someone needs to make a virgin vs chad meme with kemper, and holden.

>Don't notice I'm gay don't notice I'm gay don't notice I'm gay

Hey can someone tell me which one is dead irl and which one is alive? Because my dad met the one who's dead now.

In the book there main guy is married to a Catholic wife with young children, why did the show have to include a fake degenerate whore as the love interest? To make all the Tumblr sluts have someone to identify with?

What do you mean? Your Dad met Ed Kemper? He's still alive.

It's a Fincher thing

I think the idea is he's supposed to be contrast with the killers with how his relationship relates to how they view women, he gets bothered by her coming home with another guy, and she wears heals for him, and then the other guy is supposed to represent the parents of the killers. They all had distant fathers, and he acts distant with his son

the dyke whose character arc was feeding a stray cat tuna is who the tumblr sluts identify with.

Jerry Brudos

DAE think this show low key bashes hippies and feminazi types?

> Holden Ford's gf is a hippie feminist who shown as a smug bitch who cheats on him

>Wendy's a typical feminst cunt who rats out Holden to Shepherd for using the word cunt and is overall pretty unlikeable

>Almost every serial killer especially Kemper are fucked up because of bad mothers

>What do you hope changes for season 2?

Don't waste screen time on the useless girlfriend.

That's not Sup Forums, Sup Forums loves "black male things"

Nah I mean one of the 2 agent dudes this programme is based on

show takes place in 1977 right?

they better have some ted bundy action in season 2 or 3. GOAT serial killer.

His gf is a total bitch, what were they going for with that?

I think its more your interpritation then the shows. All feminist movies are fucking irrational, and idiotic to me.

The only thing i didnt like (apart fro the autism of the main character) was the fact that it goes the Hannibal Lecter route withe the killers.

When you watch interviews with these guys, the veneer is broken and they seem more pathetic than scary.

I think they were using her to contrast the change in Holden's behavior. When she first met him he was a naive beta so she lapped him up. After He becomes more assertive she loses all interest in him.

I think it was supposed to show how much Holden had changed but the end result is the gf comes off as a cunt lmao

the only one that is a total bitch is that cunt from fringe. his gf was kind of bitchy but at least she got naked.

also wtf was up with the scenes with her feeding the cat? didn't really go anywhere. i thought once she found the ants she was going to find the cat murdered and that there was a budding serial killer in her building/neighborhood.

GOAT scene incoming. youtube.com/watch?v=f6MY_lAUd64

>When she first met him he was a naive beta so she lapped him up. After He becomes more assertive she loses all interest in him.

so the opposite of real life women basically.

>his gf was kind of bitchy but at least she got naked.

sex scenes are fucking boring. thats one thing i hate about these 'adult' shows. they arent erotic or interesting.

It's implied the cat was murdered. I assume that's going to be explored in season 2.

Test

someone should make a gif or a webm of them both turning their heads at the exact same time

She's not in the fucking book either.

I agree with the first part but not the last, his son is an autist and he has said how he has tried before.

She's basically just a tool for expository dialogue re: his psyche. For instance, she repeatedly points out his narcissism and lack of empathy, and he's very deliberately vague when she asks about his childhood (implying it may have been pretty fucked up). Narcissism, lack of empathy, and a fucked up childhood are all classic indicators of sociopathy.

Will do user

That was a stupid part too because he never said cunt in real life, although the list about banned words is mentioned all that happened was they were allowed to use the words however they liked they just had to hand the tapes over to a middle-aged stenographer instead of one of the younger girls because it might upset them.

No. Initially she picks him because he's like a puppy and wants to please her so badly. That's why you got scenes like him going down on her and her giving instructions. He did everything sexually to please her and Fincher made a point about it by showing multiple scenes bout it.

While all of this happens, it is implied that she fucked a fuck ton of guys. Remember the scene when he asks about her sexual past and she shuts him down.

So when Holden becomes more assertive and stops doing what she tells him to do, she dumps him. This is made clear in that scene where they were buying food. The body language of Holden is more assertive and her body language is more submissive. Whereas when they first met it was the exact opposite.

Well it's based on Douglas' book mindhunter and he is still alive.

i get your point, my point is that in real life women cannot be any less attracted to spineless people pleaser types and instead are attracted to assertive alpha males. they don't want to have to tell their boyfriend how to please them, they just want him to do it.

Don't know if they actually interviewed him though as that was later on, they did interview Manson though so I hope that is in it.

It was funny when he BTFO her by asking what she is going to do with her sociology degree.

he got caught in florida in 1978 and the show obviously took place over a pretty long time. certainly months if not over a year.

i can't imagine they wouldn't have an interview with him, if not next season than in season 3.

You're talking about 21st century. I'm talking about the 70s. Girls loved beta guys that weren't traditionally masculine because they can teach him how to properly please a woman.

you were alive in the 70s? women have never been attracted to beta males. men got married a lot easier back then because feminism and the sexual revolution hadn't completely taken hold but it's not like girls would suddenly dump guys for growing a backbone.

No it's implied she has the crushing realisation that she'll never have a child as it is natural for women to raise children and her lesbian lifestyle has put a stop to that.

Women have always subconsciously been attracted to the strong male figure, it's why feminists are always so defensive of islam and shariah law because in their subconscious it's the society they want to live in, they want Western men to push back and put them in their place again.

>they did interview Manson though so I hope that is in it.

I wonder if they will include the time he said his mother was Eisenhower and his father was an icebox.

I think I'm going to rewatch Fringe.

fagmount

>fagmount

Can't find the link, but Fincher actually said in an interview that there's a future serial killer in the neighbourhood killing cats.

I watched half of the first episode until I've realised that series is set in the 70s and not the 90s.
Why does everything Fincher does look like it plays in the 90s?

So every couple you know has a strong alpha man? I know more couples in my circle with rather weak men and the whole man just keep them around because they are easier to handle in day to day life
Of course they fuck around on the side and even flirt in front of their bfs with tge alphas of the groupe
That's basically what happend in the show

>What do you hope changes for season 2?
No CA. It's fucking annoying.

I quite liked the relationship sideplot to be honest, especially how his interviews rubbed off on him during their scenes together. I was actually dissapointed and annoyed how quickly Holden and Debbie got back together without any explanation at all. Don't really see how that didn't need a scene explaining things.

loved the show, didn't find any threads about it after watching, is s2 confirmed? that hug at the end was amazing

season 2 was confirmed like 6 months before the actual show came out

shitty hannibal

Here you go user. Decided to be not lazy and did it myself.

Too late bitch, there were numerous threads created when it came out. Go find them on Sup Forums's archives, if you want to read them.,

Where did I say who I know? You just confirmed what I said. If they don't have the alpha they will cheat.

Hormones also play a role. Women prefer different kinds of men depending on where they are in their cycle, and taking birth control messes you up even more.

Season 2 has low prospects
>set in Atlanta
>primarily black cast
>murdered black children
>KKK rumors
>"soul music" on soundtrack according to Fincher
>killer revealed to be black nerd who lives with mommy
>female outed as gay to FBI subplot

There were lots of threads on it, Season 2 is confirmed but I don't know if Netflix have picked it up yet, if they don't I'm sure amazon will.

Fincher said he wanted her to be a character that would challenge the MC's ideas and sort of know what she was talking about.

A good housewife with kids would have been the most boring shit in the world.

Found out, it's Robert k ressler, the guy the partner is based on

>no Kemper scenes

And don't forget in real life a white man claimed the murders and said he would keep doing it but he got arrested so there will be a scene where they insult white people of course.

What's funny is that the FBI had to be careful about how they handled the Atlanta murders because there were other murders of young blacks that they knew weren't linked to the same serial killer but couldn't say so for PC reasons as there was a fund for all the bereaved families to receive gibs and if their case was not being treated as linked they would not be eligible of the gibs.

What more can Kemper say? There are plenty of other serial killers around those times that they can interview, they interviewed 30 just at the beginning of the program.

Yep, although that aspect is said to drive Holden even crazier, that a killer remains out there yet politics kills their investigation, that could be the highlight. I already view S2 as The Wire S2, just sorta depressing and inevitable. Fincher as to throw a tampon to the SJWs, but S3 will be a return to form, with Bundy and Arkham tier killers. I really want Night Stalker to appear but he won't

>>When she first met him he was a naive beta so she lapped him up. After He becomes more assertive she loses all interest in him.
>so the opposite of real life women basically

No your argument was a real women wouldn't be together with a spineless beta and that she would be more attracted to him after he grew some balls

My point is that there are tons of couples with a weak beta male and the girl mostly end up cheating
which is what happend in the show

and women have strong double standarts for alpha and beta males
and him changing from submissiv to more dominant is in cotradiction with her idea of him beeing a beta

Fuuuuck I never noticed that. This show is great. I remember some user webming him slamming a glass jar into the cart so that was all I coud focus on.

No my argument was that women subconsciously are attracted to strong strict males, I said nothing about betas in my original post you have put that in there.

You can drop a glass jar into a cart and it not break as long as there is pasta or something beneath it.

>Almost every serial killer especially Kemper are fucked up because of bad mothers
It's definitely the only thing I remember seeing that lays the blame squarely at the feet of emotionally unstable and abusive single mothers

Pretty sure Ted Bundy had a decent childhood I wonder if they will include him for this reason.

the cat thing was foreshadowing for the finale, they're looking in a roundabout way to make contact with this heart of darkness and instead just expose themselves to the raw white noise at the base of everything. the btk stuff was pretty bullshit overall, but they stuck the landing so well with the hug that the junk of the show actually flips into necessary framing.

soul music is great

I thought 5 seasons were confirmed?

By Fincher maybe, not by Netflix.

>no Kemper scenes
but Holden and Kemper are bff's now

>Holden is a beta so his GF cheats
Not really. Holden has a stable, serious job, this draws her curiosity but in the end it intimidates her, it overshadows her, and she tries to hurt Holden using sex, in an attempt to destroy the structure in his life.

Mindhunter deliberately carves parallels between academic socialist hippies, this emotional "fuck the man" feminine force, and the rise of male killers isolated by scornful single mothers and absent fathers, the precursor to the mass dismantling of the nuclear family being fostered by academia's feminist charge---lesbianism, promiscuity.

The two women represent a fork in thought: one shuns her fake lesbian academic career, the other embraces her bullshit studies. All the while Holden and Bill hold their path, steady wins the race, except this path journeys into the heart of chaos, a heart broken by emotionally notable roasties.

The finale ends with two men hugging: one who got dumped, the other dumped by his own mother. This rejection leads them to an embrace, not sharing emotions with one another, only joined in recognition of the void, the void Kemper has long knew and Holden has only now found. This series is a stunning rebuke of modern women and socialist America.

Can't get netflix to produce your stuff without the token mary sue whore and the token homo/nigger/gaynigger

And /lit/ says they are more intelligent than Sup Forums.

Yes, Fincher said both lead actors had to be prepared to spend five years making the series, and both nodded with firm commitment. I don't understand the incredulity of the anons saying Netflix won't fund more than two seasons, they offered Fincher a killer deal when HBO blew it by canceling Utopia and Videosyncrazy. The series will span the years of the book, and the cases of the actual guy. It's fully mapped out. Season 2 will exactly mirror the FBI Profiler documentary with the guy in Atlanta, it's on YT and engrossing. 28 black kids were murdered.

>A plot arc of the woman just feeding tuna to a cat she never sees

For what purpose?

Have you read the book? There are too many cases for them all to be covered and the timespan is too large.

>implying Netflix will still exist in 5 years

They are in huge debt and and have expanded almost as much as is possible, it's a huge Ponzi scheme.

Well said about the cat.

I could see Hulu or Vice imploding in five years, or being acquired, but Netflix is unstoppable. It will be acquired by Amazon or Apple or Google before it dies. Charlize Theron also produces Mindhunter, so Netflix will do whatever to keep this talent there.

This is the dumbest shit I've ever read

...

Yeah I'm not saying Mindhunter is going anywhere it's got potential and big names, it will be more interesting when they start solving the big cases. As for Netflix you need to see their business model (we'll pay that studio later).

>The day after that, a Friday, a white man roughly matching the description of the .22-Caliber Killer entered the hospital room of thirty-seven-year-old Collin Cole, announced, "I hate niggers," and proceeded to strangle the patient.

Laughed my ass off at this, like what more reason do you need

I think Castle Rock will be a hit for Hulu with this whole Stephen King resurgence and Jew Jew Abrams producing. Plus it looks pretty legit.

i really felt frustrated and angry in the black room scene, you just knew he was gonna catch her cheating
fucking bitch

so im not the only one who thought the female professor and holdens gf were the same person right?

I want to fuck this guy so hard fucking HNG what else is he in?

boring and pretty shitty acting. why did you like it?

I watched less than a minute of this before turning it off. As far as I can tell, I'm not missing anything.

Its ok if you want to burn a few hours, only gets good by the second episode
