Where is everyone?
Star Trek /Discovery/ General
Danm I can't believe the killed the best character. This truly is Game of Thrones successor
Why didn't we see this scene in ep 8?
Saw the quote in the OP...
What a strange thing for an actor to say, that his show is of no merit and only draws an audience due to brand recognition. Well, jokes on him, I don’t watch this trash, and it’s going to get cancelled
Does Saru deserve to be the first officer after what he did in the last episode? Would you be ok with Michael taking his place?
The show got renewed though.
Tbf he's not wrong. Discovery is the most popular show on Netflix and in Canada
man this shit sucks
What sucks?
this show
Character feels like the most easily influenced passive aggressive insecure numale pandering
I'd throw him out the airlock
based
What sucks about it?
Are you talking about Lorca? Post examples of him being "easily influenced passive aggressive insecure"
I dunno i just don't enjoy it, like the last ep for instance, the whole living planet thing could have been an entire episode in of itself but they have to cram in so much other shit from subplots. it just felt like they arrived for like two seconds and then saru spergs out and they have a shitty fight and leave immediately. it's boring and rushed and feels like it doesn't matter
>is afraid of the strong womyn of color
>doesn't do anything about it cause too much a pussy
>magical wisp swarm takes away his fear
>instantly betrays everything that's been known to him
He's an absolute joke
>T'kuvma
>Voq
>L'rell
>Kol
Who's your favorite Klingon character so far
Yeah I think they cut a lot of scenes from the episode. See this episode 8 promo pic
Whatever the klingon chick's name is her double pussy needs to be plowed on screen
That's Saru not Lorca. I agree that he's is a cuck. I thought you were talking about the Captain
that's cause I thought I was replying to
Oh
I love the show but the threads just have too much shitposting and nobody really talks about the show, plus the last episode was pretty lousy.
>is afraid
>too much a pussy
He can't help it. He's a Kelpien
>Your world has food chains. Mine does not. Our species map is binary; we are either predator or prey. My people were hunted, bred, farmed... we are your livestock of old. We were biologically determined for one purpose, and one purpose alone – to sense the coming of death.
>most popular show on Netflix
>Stranger Things must've been moved to Amazon Prime
Stranger Things is only the most watched Netflix show for 1-2 weeks.
Proof
True but where else can you discuss it
Here's my predictions.
1) Cornwell is dead. L'rell escapes and gets captured by Lorca and the Discovery. She thinks she won't get tortured because Starfleet is the good guys. Lorca: "I ain't Starfleet." Lorca keeps her secretly captive, torturing her.
2) Ash is Voq, that rumor is true, but it's not revealed in the next episode.
3) Stamets is torn between two alternate realities but the other reality is not the mirror universe (no Terran Empire). Instead, it's a universe where the Klingons have all but won the war and the Discovery is pretty much the last ship Starfleet has. Lorca died, Saru died, and Tilly is captain.
4) People continue to hate Michael Burnham but the show keeps insisting she's the main character.
5) Burnham beats Kol but he survives.
6) Stamets's boyfriend dies. RIP gay doc.
7) Saru barely appears in this episode and does nothing. The writers even forget the last episode happened in regards to Saru.
8) Sonar dudes don't want to help Starfleet or Klingons after seeing they're both violent idiots.
9) Episode 9 will suck but be better than episode 8.
10) I'll still watch this because I have an STD ha get it?
I can definitely see the first one happening. Based Lorca
Wait, what?
>Your world has food chains. Mine does not.
Yes, your world does. You eat something. Something eats you. That's a goddamn food chain.
>5) Burnham beats Kol but he survives.
Who could replace him as the main antagonist?
We have had a thread here:
Kol stays on as the main antagonist (except he's not really, since he's been in his own story the entire time and is only now having any direct interaction with anyone on the Discovery crew outside Ash who is Voq), this time with a grudge against Burnham.
If the new guy is a Klingon in disguise, which is almost definitely what they're gonna pull, how come his cover isn't blown by a tricorder?
>we
>fuck up the op by linking to the wrong fucking thread
>only five fucking replies
>zero fucking discussion going on while this thread has actual fucking discussion about the fucking show
Yeah, fuck off ya fucker.
>Where is everyone?
Were in here:
He's fully had his DNA altered by L'rell using experimental Klingon spy stuff.
Yea that thread died too fast, we dont link dead threads in OP, we link the last active general.
thats why this thread was created 10 minutes later than the real thread here:
"We" who? You got a turd in your pocket, retard? What part of "fuck off" don't you understand?
How did he learn to become a normie human?
shill making a dup thread couldnt even be bothered to use the real name of the show STD which all fans use.
>41 / 6 / 9 / 1
She isn't dead you stupid pleb
Damn is Michael the most hated person in the galaxy?
She's dead, Jim.
dont spam the board with duplicate threads, shill you didnt even get the name of the show right which has always been STD on here. at least search the catalog before making the same thread for a show that already has a gernal here:
YEP.
I'm predicting when Voq blows his cover, he will fuck over the Discovery, but will ultimately be convinced by his love for Burnham or some shit to join Starfleet and get his revenge that way.
Either he'll stay in human form throughout and only Burnham and Isaacs (who knew all along) will know his true identity, or he'll revert back to Klingon and become Worf v0.5
Does Ash know he's Voq?
He doesn't. He's a sleeper agent. Lorca brings him in to torture L'rell and she eventually activates him when the time is right (near the end of the season), making him remember everything.
FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING MORON, YOUR THREAD IS SHIT, LIKE YOUR LIFE
He gets really mad when he doesn't get to be the OP. it's really pathetic
And he doesn't like it when you post pictures of crying babies.
>spams links to his shitty fail thread
>"quit spamming!!1!"
>brings him in to torture L'rell and she eventually activates him
Hmm good theory. But I've forgotten what their plan is desu. Is it just avenging T'kuvma?
You're confusing me with someone else
>But I've forgotten what their plan is desu.
MAKE QO'NOS GREAT AGAIN
I believe the plan is for him to infiltrate and take over the Discovery and use it to defeat Starfleet and assert himself as the leader of the Klingons.
Fuck this fake ass CBS shit.
Look how the mods disabled the real thread because their getting payed by CBS to promote this shill thread.
Link to original thread:
Mod reporting here because their taking money from CBS to promote this show over letting us use the name we used since before the show aired:
Why do I wanna fuck her? Please help.
Who's had the best character development so far?
Burnham but only because the show focuses almost entirely on her.
>implying I watched it anyway
Hardmode: can't say Michael
CBS ruining Sup Forums showing how easy it is to just pay mods off
Real thread that mods disabled is here:
Why didn't you?
This is the second time we have proof that mods are selling site services to promote a product or show in this case stopping STD threads for these fake shill CBS generals
Maybe Stamets because he had that one scene where he talked about how he met the doctor plus he's going crazy.
I'd say Saru. We know his background + he's also going crazy
>that his show is of no merit and only draws an audience due to brand recognition.
Trekies aren't the entire audience
Why are mods allowing this fake thread to stay here when the real thread was made 10 minutes ago?
That was made 10 minutes before this thread, and the other CBS made thread before it died after barely 30 posts.
>Would you be ok with Michael taking his place?
She's not even an officer anymore
Hmm, Saru is pretty good but he always feels so shoved in the background. They finally bring him out front for ep. 8 and he goes nutso. I want to like him but the show makes it hard to.
new /qa/ is up to discuss how mods are promoting and selling products and services on Sup Forums like this thread here
Fuck off back to your cancer thread
>got her badge back
>Stationed on the bridge
What is she then?
We cant the mods disabled our real thread because their payed by CBS to promote this thread due to the name.
No but then again Lorca isn't fit to be captain, Ash isn't fit for duty, Stamets isn't fit to be a scientist, Culber isn't fit to be a doctor, and Michael isn't fit for life outside a prison.
Only one who should be on that ship is Our Girl Tilly.
Original thread showing mods being bought off by CBS:
New thread for mods being bought off by CBS:
Our girl is Airiam
You worship a false god.
they re-edited and cut stuff when they extended ep 9 i believe.
Cornwell was supposed to have more scenes with L'Rell during their fake interrogation. She was gonna go all therapist and decipher the political situation. Missed opportunity imo.
fuck off cunt
That explains why the episode felt so rushed and shitty. Would love to get a director's cut.
yeah and I'm kind of pissed after Rapp hyped it up so much, they should've slowed it all down and cliffhanger'd on Saru crushing the communicators
Should they kill Michael and make Airiam the main character?
I hope they go more ensemble in season 2, cap off Michael's redemption arc in 1 season and then let the cast breathe a bit
I mean, I don't really get why it has to be under a certain time, it's not like this is being played on broadcast TV, and if it ever is, they could just recut the episode.
I'm fine with episodes being A-Plot Burnham / B-Plot Other Crew Member (with a potential C-Plot Another Crew Member), but yeah, here's hoping.
Yeah he said cried when read the script. I want to know which scene it was
Yeah and I love the show but fuck CBS shitty runtime demands
Would Michael's actress be okay with that?
This scene.
>it's not like this is being played on broadcast TV
It is in Canada
Why would that be up to her
But literally nothing happened in that scene
I mean, I get it if the show is being made for television, but if it's being made for the internet, it doesn't really matter if the episodes are a little longer or shorter.
