Die Hard 3 is a fine popcorn movie, but as a film it's an incoherent mess littered with plot holes.
DIE HARD 3 IS MCBANE ON HIS OWN TURF
ITS THE PUREST OF ALL DIEHARDS
AND THEREFORE EVEN SUPERIOR TO L.A. DIEHARD 1 PARADOXICALLY WITHOUT WHICH DIEHARD WOULD NOT EXIST
The second Die Hard is my favourite one
fite me faggots
>DULLES AIRPORT BOOGALOO
CLASSIC CONTRARIAN PICK
DIE HARD 2 IS OBJECTIVELY WORSE THAN EVEN THE NU-HARDS
I'll allow it.
>Heat
dunno if I'd call it action, but it has the best shootout that will ever be done
Worse than Raylan Givens hunting down McClane? Sure
Worse than that writer from The Lives of the Others stealing some shit from Chernobyl? No

1980s-1990s were the golden age of over-the-top movies. It probably began with the whole cop shows/disaster movie fads of the 1970s. Very little CGI, and good tech, means that few of these movies have badly aged. Golden era indeed.
