How come there's so many daddy issues laden women (and men) out there that think they're Harley Quinn, yet there's so little men that think they're the Joker?

Different societal pressures cause men and women to react differently?

>and men
really?

Also, Quinn is written as a female Deadpool, just quirky and silly enough for most people to forget that she's a horrible cunt. The Joker has been nothing but an in-your-face sociopath for a loong time now.

Gay people are men too, you know

"men"

>The Joker has been nothing but an in-your-face sociopath for a loong time now.
I wouldn't really call the BTAS Joker an in-your-face sociopath. That applies to every single other Joker, sure, but Hamill's Joker is different in that regard.

I want an episode about Joker's father whipping the living shit out of him and calling him an unfunny loser. :3

>so little men that think they're the Joker?
much less of the guys posting 'adulthood is realizing the Joker makes more sense' on facebook are being ironic than you want to believe

>, yet there's so little men that think they're the Joker?
In what reality do you live? I want to join.

I want to see a genuine, diagnosed sociopath or psychopath think that he's the Joker. And not some random edgelord that watched TDK.

But it 's that second category OP is complaining about.

When My schizophrenia started my strongest alt was a combo of Dr Doom and Joker. No jokes though, just grandstanding sociopathy doubled with Jokers whole "if I'm gonna commit murder it's gonna be an art installation". Thank god I got help

Mind telling us a bit more? Also, how'd you get help?

Here you are.

>And not some random edgelord that watched TDK

but he has actually killed someone

By that logic, James Holmes is also not an edgelord, even though he is.

Your mistake is to think that being a psycho and being an edgelord are mutually exclusive.

I'm not saying they're not, but they can be.

>How come there's so many daddy issues laden women (and men) out there that think they're Harley Quinn

Where?
WHERE?

You don't want to go down this rabbit hole, trust me.

I had a pretty decent support structure so when people saw me acting more confident in public and going by my full name some of my friends took me aside and asked what was going on. My bestie knew, he was the first to be told, and after I started having black outs where I didn't remember what happened but I was acting in the world I started trying to medicate myself. The medication didn't help much but after I started meditating they actually helped a lot. Modern medicine man it's fucking boss.

After I switched shrinks I started getting in a really good new medication and shits nice now. Quite frankly I don't wanna talk about the stuff he wanted to do, to put it short he liked to talk about how much smarter he was than me (he wasn't) and how he could achieve more than I ever could (he totally could). The whole concept for his want to murder and rape didn't come from a sexual thing ( might have been a compensation/power thing) but from a want to create things that would forcibly change people. While I also have that want he wanted to do it in a way that was...evil. Yea evils the word for it. I actually know quite a bit of structural engineering and other such random stuff from his art plans. I also used to know how much weight human sinew could hold. He never followed through before I locked him away but he would follow women and men to their houses for a few weeks to get there schedule down so he could find a way to kill them and also have a few hours to set up an installation. In the end I burned his plans, locked him in the back of my mind, and after five years of constant struggle I haven't heard from him since.

By forcibly change I meant when people saw his works

Because they got something really right with that character. When you make a female character you want to make her empowered, with agency and noble feelings, like Wonder Woman or Danvers before they fucked her shit up

Girls from 12 to 30 (and this range keeps growing) fucking hate that shit. They want to empower themselves through their sexuality or at least acknowledge that they have one. They want to have fun, to be fun. They relate to female characters in love with bad boys, making snarky comments and not giving a fuck about politics, noble ideals and all that crap, because that's exactly what most young women are. Marvel is trying this with Gwenpool too but they are failing miserably

OTOH the Joker on the other hand is the archetype of "villain who is bad just because", hard to relate to that.

Okay, it's kind of weird you refer to apart of yourself at the third person.

>OTOH the Joker on the other hand is the archetype of "villain who is bad just because", hard to relate to that.
Ahahaha. How have you managed to miss all the edgy kids on the internet?

>villain who is bad just because

I'd rather not refer to it as me

>going through something similar
>forcibly ended up in a mental hospital
>was offered help, but refused as I thought it was wrong

I feel for you man, my closest friends knew I had visual/auditory hallucinations so when I my mind started to curdle like bad milk I had four people who stepped up to help me. The worst part was the year when my self had convinced my friends it wasn't bad.

Eh I once lived with this guy who would proclaim he was the 'true' Joker. He'd listen to youtube Joker fan songs and sing along + try to laugh like Joker. It was cringy as fuck and just as bad as Harley-girls, not to mention he was 29 years old at the time.

My friends don't notice that there's anything wrong with me though, and the only person that knows about it is actively encouraging me, and i don't want to stop.

I do i feel like your guys perceptions are skewed from social media. I want proof dude.

I'm dating one. What kind of proof do you want?

You should have given him a whuppin

Debatable.

a more respectable sample size.

You mean intelligent, nihilistic, and with a sick sense of humor?

She talks like her, she sounds like Arleen Sorkin, she moves like her, she's always overly enthusiastic and happy about everything.

This ain't a good road you're going down man. I have a decent sample size and though I know people who have made it work sometimes those personas start wanting to hurt people. Could end with you smashing walls opens because you hear angels singing inside

The number of those people compared to the number of Harley fanatics out there is still three to one

Yeah, but the number of Joker fanatic is most likely the same as the number of Harley fanatics.

Why are you still dating him then?

>so little men that think they're the Joker?
You don't get out much, do you?

>him
Don't you mean her?

We can compromise with her (male).

Why would you think that a woman who thinks she's Harley Quinn is a tranny?

It can happen.

You're not wrong though

You have to be legit insane to think of yourself as the joker because he seriously should have died a million times by now and being that edgy/corny would get most people folded up and placed in a corner in real life. I seriously only knew one person that's crazy enough to be a joker type, but he's more like trevor from gtav. Even makes the same stupid trevor life choices only on a smaller scale with a smaller body count.

Fuckin Dini

Dini is a fucking hack and Harley Quinn was a mistake.

Nice contrarian opinion, bro

>Hating Harley Quinn
>contrarian

>Shitting on Dini
>Not contrarian

Come on, bro. Just admit that you wanna be cool

I'm right about the Harley Quinn part though.

Part of. Yes, Harley Quinn today is shitty as fuck, but there's some good Harley's here and there (Injustice for one)

>Injustice for one
Well, she used to be good.

Dunno what your image is supposed to prove, but that particular image comes from a long character development that she went through the whole series. Harley today is like any character that become too damn popular for their own good and too fast

>yet there's so little men that think they're the Joker?
You mean, besides the ones who go on mass shootings?

No.

Cartoon Harley is good.

Comics ruined her.

>Joker getting beaten up by women
That's my fetish.

Yeah, he's sane enough not to pick a fight with the IRS. Seems like a quite reasonable man to me.

girls don't grow up being put in the position of being "the subject" of life. they in general feel less responsibility about things they do, much, much less regret and bad feelings about bad things they do. backstabbing, talking behind someone's back etc are things that few girls feel guilty for when they do that.

they love the thrill of being a bad girl hanging out with the bad boys because A: they are not put into the position of "the subject" and doing the evil deed themselves, they cannot identify with an evil mastermind woman as such a character is active, making decisions and manipulating the world around her which girls do not do (while men and boys fantasize about being heroes or doing stuff since being young)

so how do they get the thrill of being out of the norm and naughty, rebellious etc without stepping into the role of the subject? harley quinn and characters like her are the answer. they want to be around the evil, not be the evil.

>girls don't grow up being put in the position of being "the subject" of life. they in general feel less responsibility about things they do
No, see, this is 10% bullshit.

Don't base your logic on this kind of supposition.

There is as much try hard Harley as there is try hard Joker wannabe.

>he wasn't here for the thread with the guy who was going to shoot like a potato gun
I pity you.

>No, see, this is 10% bullshit.
why? no seriously, i don't think i said something controversial there. men are always expected to be more responsible, make the first move in dating, have a more high-earning job, they have role models like firemen or policemen. it's just a tendency. i don't mean it in a sexist way it's simply an aftermath of women not being considered full citizens etc etc

there definitely arent as many joker wannabes. you know who teenage boys love? anti-heroes, not villains.

>yet there's so little men that think they're the Joker?

>implying

>why? no seriously, i don't think i said something controversial there.
You said something false.
>men are always expected to be more responsible
false
>make the first move in dating,
Not forcibly
>have a more high-earning job,
Men aren't expected to do this.
>they have role models like firemen or policemen.
Those are also role model for women.
> it's just a tendency.
It's not something women are "pepered in". Fuck, most people won't grow up to become firemen or policemen. The large majority of the population will end up having their earn their dough in shitty job and it's a responsability most, male and female have to face.

>there definitely arent as many joker wannabes. you know who teenage boys love? anti-heroes, not villains
There is a considerable amount of edgy kid and jsut about the smae of of girl wanting to be bad girl".

And most girl don't want to be bad girl either. It's just the edgy fraction.

Who hurt you?

Men are generally more well adjusted than women. Modern day feminism encourages women to not obey societal discipline.

What do you think being a sociopath being considered by ignorant people to be a cool trait tells about our society?

What about that guy who shot up TDK instead of watching it?

literally nothing

Guess you've never heard of Juggalos
It's an entire subculture of mostly grown men who like to roleplay as mass murdering clowns
