Who was in the wrong here?

How is this not entrapment?

Is this some kind of setup?

Who, me? NO WAAAY.

Hansen. GenericWhiteMale just wanted to get to the beach, he didn't even want the cookie.

It is but people will get triggered that you said that user.

Post entrapment kino

>tfw just wanted to taste some nuts

It borders on entrapment most of the time but it's entertaining, so who cares?

Because they don't approach the men for sex, it is the men who approach the (would be) child. The cops do no instigating of their own, they just just wait for some guy to make all the moves and incriminate themselves. It's not entrapment if they don't do anything to lead the guy on.

It doesn't matter for the sake of television if it is or isn't. That's a legal matter that wouldn't stop them from making the show and exposing them in the first place. A lawyer might argue entrapment after the fact but you're still a renowned pervert whose face is there for millions to see.

...

>Kindergarten Cop and gay porn kino

Literally rat trap

Why did they never release the fedora man segment?

Thats like putting a join on a bench and having someone pick it up. Same shit. These fuckers will still be exposed to world on the show but I can see actually arguing entrapment could get you off.

>that episode where they just run.

Is this entrapment?

Was Del Harvey a dyke? She always came off as a macho bulldyke.

What if you locked yourself in the attic and slept there in the decoy house? There's no way the could remove you, especially if you slept on top of the latch. Demand your right to food and water like the piece of shit you are and it's all good.

Bait Car is entrapment kino of the highest order.

what?

Like a swarm of flies on a damping shit

No, it's more like a cop dressing up like a rasta guy with a sweet-leaf print on his shirt and waiting for a guy to ask him for weed and showing explicit intent to purchase and deal/smoke/whatever it. The cop, ultimately, is just standing around dressed funnily. It's the guy who approached him for weed that is guilty.

Did anyone that appeared in "To Catch a Predator" got convicted? It seems that it would be pretty easy for a lawyer to claim entrapment and have the pedos get away with it.

What crime's been committed here? They haven't deprived them of the item since they haven't even left the van with it. No damage has been caused.
I tried to walk out of an ASDA with a HDMI cable in my pocket and the security guard looked straight up from his console at me when I came out of the aisle so I just went and put it back.

Who cares? Most of the following prosecutions fell through based on entrapment criteria but it doesn't matter. Catch somebody trying to rob a store and people will forget about it or blame it on extenuating circumstances. Catch somebody trying to fuck a kid and put it on national TV and their life is over, with or without a trial.

Good

>try to steal something and run away
>get hold up
>nah I didnt make it out the door so no crime dude!

nigger logic

Don't you remember when they bought back predator kino and would always have a fat fedora man in the opening, but never showed his segment.

>try to shoot someone
>miss your shots
>attempted murder? naaaah no bullet hit him

I've asked this question a bunch of times and always been met with confusion. I just want to let you know user that I remember the HvP threads and the fedora man, and I am very confused why they never showed it and why the series never really concluded at all. It's a mystery

Slavery was a grave mistake.

did any of the guys on tcap go to prison?

Agreed. The legal system controls legal outcomes, and public opinion controls everything else. People that are upset with the premise of the show are making a poor argument that the only consequences people should face for their actions are legal ones.
What's interesting is why people tuned in to watch pedos being busted. It's something particularly shameful that a lot of people identify with in some aspect. If they made a show about some type of obscure crime (like money laundering) nobody would watch. Society needs scapegoats to invest all of their own shameful subconscious desires in.

Not even the same thing, I was asking a serious question. I thought theft is depriving someone of an item permanently, hence how people who steal cars sometimes get charged with the lesser crime of joyriding because they never intended to permanently deprive the owner of their vehicle.
>here's your fucked up, hotwired car back, sir.

Yep. All the pedos caught in Kentucky or Georgia episode (don't recall which one) got at least 5 years each.

Didn't he turn out to be underage or something like that?

sounds like retarded american justice system logic

HAHA fucking console peasant

youtube.com/watch?v=WeWROGE4piM

I DIDNT EVEN DO NOTHING

Britfag justice was what I had in mind but same difference.

depends on the lawyer/country etc.

Some people get fucked otherwise go free for a crime because of 'mental issues'

but we all see the videos so we all know about the crime, doesnt matter how any lawyer or judge spins it.

>You are seen trying to have sex with an underage
>You are seen trying to steal something and running away from it

The crime is the crime
